Customer service these days seems like a like art, but not with these guys! I have been thoroughly impressed with these folks from the first call for service, to the final install. Recently had A&W of Ellsworth install a Kinetico K5 reverse osmosis point-of-use unit under our kitchen sink. The entire process was well executed, the sales rep. and support team were professional and quickly responded to my questions. The installer was friendly and efficient. We had an awesome experience using Air and Water Quality to install a radon (water) mitigation system and reverse osmosis. The sales representative was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and did not try to oversell us - he was very honest about add-one we did not need. And the install team was punctual, professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They installed everything where and how we wanted it and asked for our input when they were options. At the end, they gave us a comprehensive overview of the system and how to run it.

5 Stars: I was extremely pleased with the technician’s professionalism as he went through each phase of the installation of the radon reduction system at our home.
As a former quality assurance inspector for Bath Iron Works and the U.S. Navy I appreciated his attention to detail, and the time he took with me, the customer in answering any and all questions that I had. It is readily apparent that he is a truly outstanding individual in every way and one who represents the values of Air & Water Quality to the highest standards.

Disappointed that they did not leave things as they found them ie, did not replace insulation where they put the tubes through the exterior wall of the houses, did not close bulkhead door, left door solid foam insulation strewn on floor, unplugged the dehumidifier and the rodent control unit and did not plug them back in, left the electrical cord socket laying in wet muck. These accolades are long overdue for Bart S. at Air & Water Quality. Bart truly saved the day by painstakingly taking the time to basically disassemble my water purification system. He , near single handedly, found a part, that was part of the system, was missing, it was a very small o ring and it was causing continual problems. He discovered this part missing w/Nate who was on the phone and this was at least the 3 or 4th trip out to fix the problem. Bart was great and of course, Nate, just shows what a commitment the company has to it's customers. Sure you could find cheaper, but you don't want to do that to your family. Bart and all the crew at Air & Water Quality treat you like family and that is an American trait from long ago that is wonderful to see in this firm. He really took the time to let me know the specifics that owners need to know to contend with issues that may occur with my Radon remediation system He was the consummate professional and very humbly I discovered he was a master plumber. He never said a word about that. How great it was to be a recipient of a small portion of the knowledge he accumulated over 30 years which helped me manage my system more effectively. We are extremely pleased with the professional installations and clean up accomplished by Bill H. and Bart S. of the Air and Water Raydon Systems installed in our new home. The quality of the systems and outstanding work accomplished by these technicians was far and above our expectations and their work was equivalent to what I’d expect they’d do even in their own homes. Rod C. was phenomenal in arranging the entire operation especially since all correspondences were done via phone calls, texts and emails due to the fact we were in San Diego CA at the time. All involved are a definite asset to the company and should be commended for their knowledge, expertise and professionalism. We've been impressed with Air & Water Quality. They responded promptly to our initial inquiry, showed up when they said they would and were very professional. Bart installed our radon mitigation system. He arrived on time, consulted with me on where the system would go (he had drawings that showed what I'd discussed initially with the company), was extremely courteous and pleasant to work with. Great job! Rod very accommodating in his assessment and was prompt as scheduled.
Bart was professional and very helpful. Installation was done quickly and area was left spotless. The system was explained in detail. We had a problem right after the installation, not caused by Bart, but he came right back to make sure we were comfortable with everything.
James from DEP arrived the morning after the installation and was very pleased with the installation and air quality readings.
Phil from A.C. Electric was very pleasant and professional .
The whole process was a bright spot in this whole fuel spill accident.
I would highly recommend Air and Water Quality Inc. to anyone who needs their services.

All of my interactions with Air & Quality have been fabulous. Today B*** installed a ******* heat recovery ventilation system for the reduction of radon into my 1803 house with very low ceilings (he is tall!). Bart arrived on time, explained everything that was going to happen, was cheerful all day and made sure that my cat and dog didn't escape while he was in and out of the door. The system installation required using existing old basement windows and Bart had all the tools with him to make the system work. He had to extend the radon pipe through the roof and I sincerely hope he was well trained for that - because I didn't ask about it. Today Bart came out to drill test holes for a possible radon remediation system that would de-pressurize below the concrete slab in my basement. Unfortunately, the test indicated the slab did not have crushed stone beneath it and therefore this preferred method of radon remediation would not work. Bart and I talked about a couple of other ideas that may work with my situation. I appreciate the time Bart spent with my wife and I discussing some alternatives. He's friendly, knowledgeable and had a strong desire to help us. Next step to call the main office and discuss the alternatives. (See More)

We had a really thorny problem with radon in our cellar. The Air and Quality people never gave up and with a lot of effort and a willingness to experiment so we weren't flying blind, they eventually solved our problem. It took a lot of visits and we are grateful that all is now well.
