In July 2018, they replaced a heat pump unit that turned out to be smaller tonnage than the one replaced. Apparently Kevin had been mislead by the manufacturer. Bill came out to check and there was no problem owning up to the error and a new one was ordered and installed; all no charge and no griping... Kevin and Bill were most helpful and informative. Given the size and cost of the unit, I doubt Air Assurance made much money on this transaction, but our satisfaction was certainly their priority. Thanks much guys, new unit works great. (See More)

Mr. B***** was on time for the semiannual service call at our residence. We have one high efficiency HVAC unit and 4 mini-split units.He was very organized and knowledgeable with regard to the types of units we have. We are very pleased with every experience we have had with Air Assurance. Recently we had Bill out to go over the heating system for the winter to make sure everything was in order. He explained everything that he did, gave me an update on the filter and when it should be replaced, and offered to help me with programming my thermostat. Everyone we have ever dealt with at Air Assurance has been very professional, very knowledgeable, and will always take the time to answer questions and help in any way they can. After dealing with other heat and air companies over the years they are in a whole other category of service. I'm so glad we picked them to replace our entire system, even moving the duct work up into the attic. We are looking forward to using their service for years to come. (See More)

Our downstairs unit was not cooling and the line was freezing over back to the outdoor unit. Bill was assigned as our technician and was absolutely marvelous! He was thorough, checking for leaks at both the indoor and outdoor units, and recharged the system. Before leaving, he completely explained what he had done and told us options we could consider should we incur further problems, including other diagnostic methods of finding small leaks that may be difficult to locate. Good experience, my heat pump had ice in it and was noisy, Bill came and changed the defrost settings to eliminate that problem. However, once those settings were changed, Bill was back the next day as I did not have enough heat in the house. It turned out that some strips on the heating unit were not working properly as they had not been connected or synced with the thermostat when the unit was installed in the summer. Bill told me that another top would be ordered for my heat pump to help prevent the ice problem in the future, but I have not heard anything about this from Air Assurance this week. I thought I would hear something about this from someone. (See More)

We have carried service contracts for our home with Air Assurance for about 3 years now and we are very pleased with their service. Certainly every maintenance check there is a list of items that need to be addressed, however, there has never been any undue pressure to purchase additional products or services. Every service worker wants us to be fully educated about the functioning of our HVAC system and how we can maintain that. I appreciate the time they take to explain things and provide for us honest low pressure quotes. I highly recommend the Extended Service Plan. (See More)

We have Air Assurance do our spring and fall servicing every year, and we are always happy with their service. This year we forgot to make an appointment in the spring, and when we got around to it, it was mid July. The day of the appointment someone called saying they could come as scheduled that afternoon, but that they had so many people whose a/c had gone completely out that they wondered if they could reschedule us for a week later. We agreed, and they came the following week as planned. I was actually glad that they gave us this option - our a/c only needed to be serviced and wasn't working as efficiently as it should have been, but I would hate for anyone to not have an a/c in our July heat. My needs were not as critical, and we gladly gave up our time. When the technician (I think it may have been Bill?) came out the following week, he was knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough, as we have come to expect from Air Assurance. This review pertains as much to the technician as it does the company itself. Both were of the utmost of professional, curteous and friendly. As I type this another Air Assurance team is banging around in my crawlspace doing duct repair. Everything has been nothing more than as promised and top notch. There is one caveat...HOLY COW this is freaking expensive. The A/C repair, after I looked up the parts used came in at about 200 dollars per man hour and the duct work will be just shy of that. High standards should have a high price but there is a reasonable level and we a on the edge of breaching that one. On the next 100 degree day if I can hang meat in here then I will calm down (See More)

We had an AC/Heating fan motor issue that ultimately has necessitated a new unit being installed and an electric for gas conversion. The tech was great.
