I purchased a mini-split. I thought it was DIY, but it wasn't...we did our best, but it wasn't working...I contacted Absolute Air through a recommendation from our electrician. We have had to call Absolute Air out twice for unrelated problems in the last few months—once for fire ants invading our compressor and adjustments to the attic unit, another time for working on the venting to the attic unit. Both times, we were lucky enough to have Danial (and a helper the second time!) come to fix our problem! The second time was an emergency, and he came an hour earlier than promised! Although the outside temperature was over a hundred, he would emerge from our attic with a big smile, explain the problem succinctly, and tell us what he was going to do. We are extremely pleased with the service and install work by the Absolute Air team, from start to finish. Daniel came out, listened to our needs, questions, and concerns and gave us a quote (we did get 3 other quotes from other companies and decided to go with a Lennox and Absolute Air). The install team (I don't remember everyone but it was a team) was great, they answered more questions and talked to us throughout the process so that any issues were addressed immediately. I would highly recommend Absolute Air to anyone needed to update their AC/Heating system.
Hard numbers: Our average daily usage for the prior three months to install (DEC-FEB) was 65KWH or $6.99 per day, for March that dropped to 56KWH or $5.97 per day. So a solid savings of $30 per month. I can't wait to see what savings we'll get this summer! Especially with the fairly mild weather I've used for these comparisons. (See More)

I called Absolute Air at 8AM on a Saturday and the phone was answered by a service. Right away my call was returned by a representative of Absolute Air informing me that they had received my call and that a tech would be contacting me soon for my service. Just a few minutes later I received a call from Daniel, the service tech, who asked me what type of problems I was having. After a short discussion he gave me an estimated time of arrival as he was completing the call he was on and had another service call ahead on mine. Daniel was right on time and fixed the problem in short fashion. He was very friendly and professional. He took the time to inspect the total unit and provided us with helpful information to ensure that our system was safe and dependable.
There was no extra charges for the Saturday call and the repairs were very reasonable. This is the second time I have used Absolute Air and would strongly recommend them to anyone needing service work, duct cleaning, or any other services.

A/C went out at 2am. Our grandson is handicapped and needs the A/C for Medical reasons. Called a few minutes after 8 and by 8:20, they had dispatched Daniel Chronister to our home. Since it had been off for two days there were no parts getting hot. He worked diligently to find the problem. He explained in language we could understand easily,and after solving the problem for that day he told us to call if we have any problem and not to turn it off. It worked for two days and we called. I recently asked around for a good AC Contractor in Kaufman, TX at the grocery, convenience stores, and in general conversation. Absolute Air Conditioning kept coming up. In July of 2017 it is our plans to open an office in Kaufman, off Oak Creek Road. I was given the task to get the building which had been closed a few years, cleaned up and presentable for business. The Air Conditioning systems and Heating systems needed some serious attention. I made the call, and was delighted with the result. They sent a Technician out that day to give me an assessment. They were all honest, caring, friendly, hardworking, and professional. Every one of them went out of their way to ensure I understood every step they were taking. This was not an easy installation and it was in an old doublewide where nothing is as it seems and almost everything was not done right in the first place.
I was impressed by the three (3) man crew and their supervisor, not listed, that did my install. They worked all day, without a lunch, to get this done and to get it done as quickly as they could. They were a team and it showed.
This is not cheap and I was not pleased with having to get a new AC system. But all of Absolute Air, Kaufman TX, From the tech, not listed, that first came out and looked at my old AC. The salesman that came out to talk to me about getting the new system, only after I said I was interested in hearing what he had to offer. And the crew that installed the new system. They always seemed genuinely interested in me, what I needed and wanted, and what would be best for me. They were always professional, understanding, and helpful.
Although I hope I will not need to do this again anytime in the near future, Absolute Air of Kaufman, TX will be the people I call for all my heating and AC needs. (See More)

They did let me know my problems would continue and they were right. I purchased a new unit from them. My electric bills decreased which I didn't expect though they said they would. From my first question to the ten thousandths question, they answered all . They went over the house top to bottom and recommended the best suited unit for my older house. They discussed air flow, BTU sizes, ducting changes,etc,etc,etc so I was very confident in my chose of unit to replace my older heat pump. From the moment they arrived till they left, I felt they were VERY qualified in removing the old and installing the new, they knew what they were doing. When I initially contacted Absolute Air, I needed an estimate for work on my inverted A/C system. Specifically, the damaged duct work underneath the pier and beam house. It still had water and was inaccessible so I said I would call back when I had the water problem resolved. Without being bothersome, Absolute Air kept in touch with me and came out when the water problem was resolved. We determined the best course was to reconfigure the ducting and upright the blower unit. They came when promised and did an excellent job of re-configuring the system, reconnecting all the fitting for electric, coolant, condensate, etc. They cleaned the ducts, and boy were they DIRTY after 50 years! They plugged the old outlets at the baseboard and cleaned up afterwards. The entire crew came out and got the job complete in one day, thank goodness. The new system works GREAT, and i should see a reduced electric bill now. Plus, the unit is performing much better! They were professional, courteous, explained everything needed and answered all my questions. I can highly recommend this company. (See More)

When my air conditioning failed on Labor Day in 95 degree heat, I thought I was out of luck getting someone to come out to service my unit. Well, I was fortunate enough to run across a listing for Absolute Air. Out of the 5 service companies I called, Absolute Air was the first to call. The people I spoke with were courteous, professional and prompt. The technician (Troy H) was out at my place and had my unit serviced and operational within 2 hours of my call - at a reasonable price with no gimmicks or games like other companies have tried to play by upselling or quoting unnecessary work. And, even as of this evening, only one other company even bothered to call me to address my problem. He did not try to push his company's products or services, but was willing to go with what we could afford. The next day the team of R.D. and Cade came to do the installation. Both were very personable and polite. They worked hard the entire time they were there. Never taking a break even though the August heat was unbearable in that attic. We love this company and their support of Still Waters in Kaufman. When our air quit working we immediately called them. The technician was amazing, he quickly figured out the problem and worked up the cost for us. We ended up putting in a new unit because we had patched this one several times and it was 20 years old. I felt bad that the technician had done so much work to find the problem then we ended up just going with a new unit but he was extremely pleasant and helpful. He checked back with us multiple times to make sure we were happy with the new unit and system even though he didn't personally install it. My ac is under warranty. Total diagnosis and repair took less than 10 minutes. My total bill was $161 - $79 for service call, $47.50 for 30 minutes labor (and it took less than 10 minutes), and a $35 "handling fee" for the covered new condenser. We have been using this company for a few years and they have always been dependable and honest. They have never let us be without cool air in the hot summer, even when ours went out. They came out on a Sunday morning, fixed it, and I was able to be at Church. Daniel C. and the crew just put in a brand new unit for us yesterday and even though we weren't thrilled about the necessary expense, these guys made it easier. Daniel gave us his # and urged us to call him no matter what if we have any question. Everyone there is so nice and honest. What more could a homeowner ask for? Keep up the great work guys! We have 2 homes that Absolute Air services and just recently had to replace the entire system in 1 of the homes. They are the best HVAC company I have ever used and from now on the we will only use Absolute Air for our HVAC needs. They do what they say and that seems to be a very rare thing these days.
