ARS posts a $83 drain cleaning offer but conveniently forgets to mention that the offer is only valid if they come an insert a drain line from the outside of your home to the inside. What a rip off.

SCAMMERS- MY TECH WAS JOSE L. S…….. They were able to come same day service call for $89. He came later than promised then spent almost an hour checking EVERYTHING. Then finally say it’s the zone board and it’ll cost $1600-1800 to repair. I said, I just googled part and it’s $200. He said that’s price unless you go to smaller company. How I identified the scam. I paid another company to come 2 hours later for $49 and he spent a total of 4 minutes in my attic and was done. He says wire was disconnected. DO NOT TRUST THEM

I used this company for my plumbing concerns. Not only did they flat out LIE about my concerns I had to pay them$279.00 for their poor service. Use at your own risk they are not qualifies to do a good job for you at all. Their customer service also SUCKS! Good luck if you use them!

ARS did not do our hot water heater to code. None of the water lines are not strapped or secured. No combustible air vent. Emergency pan does not go to an outside wall. Gas line needs to be polybutal flex line. None of the copper lines are not insulated.

Lam Tran installed a Patriot Carbon Air Cleaner in my home. I followed him up to the attic because I wanted to see exactly what he was installing as well as how it worked. He actually shared a lot of information about it with me. However, I am sure that I could have used a slower paced demonstration/explanation of the air purifier. I wasn't able to see the exact location of the cleaner but he attempted to show me what he had to do and the vicinity of where it would be. I hope it does the job it is suppose to do and is worth the money that I spent on it. Very pricey!!

ARS Field Supervisor Al R. responded to my issue where our AC had stopped operating and the Touch Control panel displayed an error message "System malfunction code 82 thermal lockout high stage 4". Al carefully troubleshot and determined a problem with one of the capacitors controlling the compressor. Because it was late in the evening and he did not have an exact replacement, he installed a temporary capacitor so as to tide us over until he could obtain the correct part. This saved my family from the sweltering heat and humidity for that evening and the next 2 days - we really appreciate the extra step Al took to minimize our discomfort. Al returned and installed the correct part without us having to follow up. He was courteous and diligent, delivering a 5 out of 5-star service. Al is a real asset to ARS.

Where to begin... Mr. Vo is amazing! He was prompt, courteous, professional and thorough. I'd had a gentleman from the same company come out the day before for HVAC maintenance and to unclog a drain. A few hours after he left, my AC was blowing hot air. All he left me with was $5,000 worth of maintenance/ repair recommendations. After a hot and sleepless night, I inspected the unit outside. It obviously had not been cleaned. I decided I would never use ARS again. I called customer service and a very nice representative convinced me to let someone else come out. Lucky for me, the new technician was Mr. Vo. Mr. Vo listened as I described the problems and was very thorough in his investigation and repair. He did an amazing job! He exceeded my expectations by calling management to ensure that I was taken care of. Instead of writing the company off, I will continue to use ARS Rescue Rooter if Mr. Vo can be my technician. He made some great suggestions that I plan to have him install when the economy stabilizes. There were no high-pressure scare tactics used, and because of that, I trust him. If you need a job well done and want to avoid high pressure sales tactics, call ARS Rescue Rooter and ask for Chuong Vo. You won't be disappointed!

ARS has always done a great job for me. Jerry took the call and had the tech, Tran, out and all of the repairs to my AC were made by noon. Great guys to work with.

ARS did another great job for me. Jerry in the office had someone here withing 2 hours and Tran Lam diagnosed the problem did a wonderful job explaining the problem and getting it repaired. My AC is working wonderfully now. GREAT customer service.

Worst scheduling ever. Initial appt was set for 7/13- 9am-1pm (no show). I called after 1pm and they said we were next in line for visit (no show). I called late evening and rep stated that plumber tried to reach me (untrue!) And no answer at door (untrue and when I spoke with Pam Thomas (Cst Satisfaction Mgr), she apologized and stated that was not on the notes- untrue that they no answer at the door). We work from home and we are always here. Rep scheduled us for next day (7/14) and promised first on schedule (no show). Finally recd call after 1pm and service guy came about 4pm. Very unhappy with your scheduling process. I will be posting a very bad and accurate account of my experience with you all.

Mr. Lam did a wonderful job of checking the air conditioning unit for the spring checkup. He explained everything to me in detail and gave me quotes on other things I might be interested in to keep my air conditioner/heating system in tip top shape. He was just wonderful and very informative. I really appreciated the service he did. He was prompt, on time, and was able to answer all the questions I had. You can see he loves his work and makes sure everything is done right. He is fantastic!

Steve Jinkins was thorough and gave clear explanation of what needed to be replaced when he did the A/C tune up today. He replaced the capacitor, U/V bulb, and media filter. He also discussed what might be needed during the visit for April 2020, so I have time to prepare ahead of the next visit. Thank you, Steve, for a job well done!

In a state of panic since the weather was gonna drop drastically and of course tried to run my heater. Worked for maybe 10 minutes and then gave me red light signal. Called ARS, technician arrived and Al was so helpful and professional. Showed me exactly my problem and got us running quickly. When I need to call them again, I will definitely ask for Al!

He was excellent. Whatever the highest score is give it to him. I was not expecting to make a purchase especially with the holidays coming up, but the price Chad Jackson offered me for Radiant Barrier, Insulation, Attic Breeze Solar Fan, Reme Halo and Attic Tent was unbeatable. He showed me just how easy it is to get financed!

I don't give either negative or lukewarm positive reviews. My online reviews are saved for superior service that really impressed me. My stupid decision to put macaroni shells down the drain thinking that the disposal would take care of it was just as I described - really stupid - 100% my fault which gave my wife some sense of pleasure. I give longer reviews with more detail because I am a liberal arts guy; have minimal service skills; but a common sense IQ to know when someone is going for maximum billing. Because of the circumstances and history, I was quite confident that we did not have a major systemic plumbing issue that extended deep into the lines. The first plumber to arrive for the 'free' estimate said the work would take $179. He simply would not listen to my explanation of events and the almost certain likelihood that the problem was in the p-trap or u-joint and did not extend beyond 'under the sink.' He wasn't even listening. I rejected the service and called ARS. Soon there after, ARS arrived represented by (Peanut). At 69, I have had a lot of folks over the years show up for service work. Many have been good; and lot never got to do any work. He likes "Peanut" so I will call him Peanut. Without hesitation, I can say that he was an extraordinary representative for his company. Rather than pushing the most expensive plan first, he actually listened. I genuinely hope he represents the culture of the ARS company because on the basis of Peanut's integrity and respect that he showed a guy who stupidly created the problem (me) I strongly suggest that you can trust the company. Unlike the initial company, he didn't try to get my signature authorizing the full works in 'hopes' there was a bigger problem. Without quoting exactly, he said 'let's see if this is really simple.' It was; he fixed it, and the $69 charge was more than fair. Had he not been honest or had it been the first company, I would gone back up to my office upstairs; worked until the job was finished; and never ever been the wiser. If Peanut represents the calibre and integrity of ARS overall, it's a damned good company. All corporations have a culture and great companies have employees who fit that culture. I am proud to write this for Peanut. I can't fix a sink but I can mess one up AND I do know a good man and good company when I see one. George Scott - Katy

He was on time. He got here before I did. He was helpful and explained everything real well. I wasn't planning to make any purchases and just wanted the free attic evaluation that the Home Depot representative offered me. However Chad made everything make so much sense that it wouldnt make sense for me not to make the investment into reducing my electric bill with their Solar Attic Fan, Radiant Barrier and Insulation.
