AJ Wells Roofing was recommended to us by a friend who is a city inspector and had followed Wells' work throughout the years. We chose this company because of that recommendation and had the pleasure of working with Guss Plair. Gus was outgoing, informative, patient and answered our every question regarding the roofing process. He did a great job and was always available if I needed something. You can tell this is a high quality roofing company compared to many of the storm chasing companies out there. They finished my roof in 2 days and everything looked great. They even sent a guy out to do finishing work and to fix any small dings/tar left on the house. We had some roof damage when an EF1 tornado came through our sub-division. Chris S. with AJ Wells roofing and construction helped us with every aspect of getting our roof replaced. After having a Tornado passed through the area of my home, I meet with -3- roofing companies and decided to enter into an agreement with A.J. Wells Roofing to install the new roof. My main reason for choosing A.J. Wells was their attention to detail, specifically, advising what was required to ensure there would be no exterior water penetration after the install along the areas where the flashing would be replaced to include the chimney area. The roof was replaced in -2- days with an additional day to replaced stucco and repaint. The stucco/painter repaired and repainted the stucco mailbox as a gesture of goodwill. Upon completion, the work area was cleaned thoroughly with installers combing the yard with a magnetic wand for any stray nails. A.J. Wells Roofing quality of work exceeded my expectations. Based on their outstanding exterior workmanship, I opted to use them for some interior work to repair/replace ceiling and interior wall. That work was completed equally flawless. AJ Wells Roofing installed my new roof in May of 2016. I decided to try them after reading the many positive reviews. It didn't take long to realize I had made the right decision. This company is indeed exceptional with outstanding customer service. The workers were polite, neat, and professional. Within 2 days they had installed a beautiful new roof, after first replacing all rotted wood. I cannot say enough good things about Chris Sorrells, who worked with me from start to finish. I ultimately went with A.J. Wells Roofing and am I glad I did. They did an excellent job. I worked with Chris S. and Arthur W. and they both are very responsive. Chris was very attentive and came by my house multiple times; the initial roof review, bringing by sample singles and then for the contract signing. He also provided me addresses of prior A.J. Wells Roofing clients so that I could drive by and see the different color roofs. If an issue does arise, Arthur will personally make sure that the issue is resolved with a positive outcome. AJ Wells Roofing provided top of the line quality work! We had several roofing companies knocking on our door looking to replace our roof. I had researched these companies that came to my door and spoke to their representatives and I was not impressed, so I decided to search for a roofing company on my own. The ONLY company I found with all rave reviews and no negative reviews including on the BBB site was AJ Wells. All the other companies had several complaints. We worked with ***** *. Who is awesome. He explained in detail what would be done and educated us with the type of roof we would be getting. He was also quick to answer any questions we had. Once the roof was underway AJ himself came by to inspect the work and ensure we were happy and satisfied with the work being done. He also was readily available if we had any questions. I also need to recognize all the workers who did a phenomenal job on the roof. We had just recenltly painted our house ,so with the new roof it looks like a brand new house! From the Start with Chris and throughout Arthur and his team have bee nothing short of professional, courteous, attentive and more important than all of those did a fantastic job!
I would recommend them as my neighbors recommended them to me. From what I thought could potentially be something that would be long and drawn out was from day one efficient, timely getting to work, excellent job. Anything that needed some extra attention Arthur was on it, no wasting of time.
He went out of his was to make sure that every detail was taken care of. When asked of a particular item in question, he got right on it and had it handled within a very reasonable amount of time.
