Klint was great! I have used 3 Mountains a number of times for plumbing issues and they provide excellent service, are very knowledgable and are always on time and friendly. A bit on the expensive side, but I have never had to have them return for the same issue, they fix it right the first time. Also, service people are always neat and tidy--a bonus! (See More)

3 Mountains Plumbing came to the rescue on the same day we needed them. Communication was on point. Klint was very helpful. Be educated us on our water sources and how they connected together. I had recently purchased my house and it is fairly old. He also gave me options for cost. I am very satisfied. (See More)

Klint is like that knowledgeable uncle who has your best interest at heart. He looks for ways to go above and beyond every time he is in our home. Over a three day period I met three of the Three Mountains Plumbing guys who originally were called out to scope my sewer lines because neighbors were having trouble. I added some additional plumbing issues for them to solve in a 1971 built condo, and they were quick, courteous, and very professional. They were even able to come out on a Sunday night to solve a leak coming from a faulty pressure regulator that there was no way my home inspection could have even seen, as well as relocate the main water turn off valve so it could be reached without having to remove a water heater first! I called 3 Mountains Plumbing based on reviews found online in a search for plumbers who could also check sewer lines, because 6 people on my block had recently had sewer backups. I wanted a complete check of my newly purchased 1971 built condo in a preventative move. Nate came and did a superlative job in scoping out the sewer line, emailed me a video of the beginnings of a belly in the line, and installing new low flow toilets, installing new angle stops in bathrooms and kitchen, replacing supply lines with new braided supply lines and checking all water lines and connections. He also explained the options in a customer care club. I joined the club, which turned out to be a really smart move, since the next night (a Sunday) I had a regulator water leak all over the garage floor, which brought out Klint. He spent several hours pulling my water heater out and installing a new regulator. During the process he found the turn off valve for my house water was located behind the water heater, which I could never have reached in an emergency. He relocated that valve to an easy to see and reach position. The next call was answered by Paul and Nate who relocated and installed a new shower head in the guest bath and installed a new sink, faucets and p-trap. All three gentlemen spent a goodly amount of time going over the options, cost as well as proposed work. They were on time, completely professional and very easy to understand. I also appreciated the total cleanup of the job sites. I would very strongly recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work done honestly and professionally. (See More)

2 days without water but it was worth it to get everything upgraded, Klint and his asst. c were skilled, efficient and personally courteous and friendly. They used quality materials and made recommendations about plumbing we wouldn't have known to ask about. I would not hesitate to recommend 3 Mountains to anyone needing a plumber. (See More)

We had Klint come over to my wife's parents home at 3347 SE 180th in Portland to help us with a toilet issue. He had to tap out 2 very old bolts so we could bolt the toilet down. He even noticed a small crack in the flange but was able to find a solution. He was so courteous and not judgemental about what us 'Lay' persons had try to do. This was on a Sunday afternoon and the price was very reasonable. I could not recommend him more highly and I am going to call again today to see if can get him out in the next day or two to help us with another issue. (See More)

If there were a Zero star rating, I would be all in for that. Paid $463 for work that was not necessary and unresolved. To complete the job Klint quoted us another $293 minimum (and work was not guaranteed). Got a new plumber in and did the same work for $264. Don't know how the people at 3 Mountains Plumbing sleep. They can't sleep here since Klint made a 14" x 14" hole in our guest room and left without resolving the problem. BTW, new plumber did not even use the hole that Klint cut. (See More)

Is there a rating of ZERO stars? If there is one, I'm all in for that rating. We had a plumbing problem. Our hot water faucet in our bathroom vanity "whistled" when water passed through the pipes of our home...be it from the use of another faucet, a toilet, our washing machine or even when our yard sprinkler kicked on at 4 AM in the morning. The "whistling" was getting bad. Our regular plumber was on vacation so we decided to call 3 Mountains Plumbing to resolve what we thought was a simple fix. 3 Mountains dispatched Klint who quoted us $433 to pull and inspect the hot water stem in the "whistling" faucet (later, I realized that the quote was just to "pull and inspect" and not "repair or replace"). After about 45 minutes of work, Klint learned that the wrenches he possessed were not sized properly to pull the stem. He needed to pick up the proper size at Home Depot. He returned 45 minutes later with the proper size wrench. He fussed with the stem for another 30 minutes with no results and concluded that he would need to approach the repair from the backside which meant cutting a hole in the drywall (at our expense) in our guest room which is located opposite our master bathroom. Klint cut a 14" x 14" hole and worked at the problem. He solved the "whistling" issue but now, the faucet dripped badly (actually as I learned later, the dripping relieved the pressure on the faucet and quieted the faucet). To fix the drip, he needed to order a part from the manufacturer of the faucet which would take about a week at which time he would complete the job...and he informed us that he could not guarantee that the part would solved the dripping problem. A day passed. We called our regular plumber who had returned from his vacation and he came over in a few hours. He looked over the situation from the bathroom side (and did not try to resolve the issued from the hole in our guest room). He said he needed to pick up a stem from Home Depot and within an hour, he replaced the stem and resolved the dripping issue. He informed us that the new stem would have resolved the "whistling" problem. His bill: $264. We called 3 Mountains Plumbing to informed them that we no longer needed their services. Klint left a message earlier that day to inform us that completing the job would cost us another $293 and again reiterated that there was no guarantee that the dripping issue (which he precipitated) would be resolved. We paid 3 Mountains Plumbing $463 (includes the $30 dispatch fee) and would have invested another $293 minimum totaling $756. We got the same job done for $264. Doing business the way they do, I don't know how the people at 3 Mountains Plumbing sleep...they can't sleep here because we still have a 14" x 14" hole in our guest room wall. I will not recommend this company to anyone. (See More)

Klint installed a water heater for me on Fri. Nov. 21st. After calling several plumbing companys with no results, I called Specialty Heating and Cooling that has taken care of my furnace for many years and they gave me 3 Mountains Plumbing phone number. Klint was here a short time later and explained all the problems with the water heater one of them being 23 years old. Within a couple of hours, he installed a new water heater. He ' is very professional. I would reccomend 3 Mountains Plumbing to anyone and don't forget to request Klint. (See More)

No work was done but Klint checked the water lines coming into the house and confirmed that water from our well could not be intermingled with the public water supply. From his attitude and demeanor I felt he could be trusted with any changes that would have been required. (See More)

We had a plumbing emergency (toilet leaking)...a plumbing company we had used 6 years ago said they couldn't come for two weeks...yikes! They referred us to 3 Mountain...3 Mt.responded immediately and could come the same day...Klint came even sooner than the office had promised....he worked expertly and fixed the problem...cost was somewhat higher than we expected (but we don't call a plumber very often) nevertheless we are completely satisfied with the result. When you need plumbing work usually you need it quickly. We called 3 Mountain Plumbing and not only did they come out first thing in the morning they stayed until 8pm to finish the job! The plumber was super nice, offered good advice, and let us know he'd have to come back with a better fit for one of the pipes the next day. He didn't want to just "make it work." I've used this business several times in the past. They always provide a professional, quality service. The job is assessed, and your estimate is presented to you prior to any work commencing. They will typically present you with a few options so you can decide on the cost. Klint was our plumber on the last two services. He is a top notch plumber and a nice guy! Right now, the work is in progress. So far, everything has gone well and I expect it to end well. I'm nervous about the ancillary work that has to be done, i. e. Sheetrock repair and carpentry, because it has to be done by someone else. Will see how it goes. (See More)

Klint arrived at the scheduled time, came in and assessed my situation. I'd called regarding a trap under my kitchen sink that was jury-rigged together but now leaking. Klint looked at what was there, noticed a couple of corroded pipes as well, recommended fixing them, too, because they would eventually cause problems. He gave me several options, from just fixing the trap that I'd called about to doing the other preventive maintenance. Fortunately, I was able to afford the more expensive work, and he did it all. When he was done, I talked to him about another problem. He came with me to the basement to take a look and we discovered a leaking pipe, evidence of further corrosion. In the end, Klint explained how my pipes in the whole house were post-war, sub-par galvanized pipes that were not only rusting from the outside, they were accumulating crud on the inside, restricting water flow throughout the whole house and the best solution was to re-pipe the whole house. OUCH! Well, it was something that would eventually have to be done, and by scheduling the work within 30 days, the cost of the current repair could be counted toward the whole cost of re-piping. BAD news, softened a bit by making my repair work the partial down payment on the whole project, which would cost $7,000. I HATE IT when this happens, don't you? Anyway, Klint was very professional, not forcing me to accept his diagnosis, but laying out the facts where I could make an informed decision about what to do. Since the work would have to be done someday, I decided that it was better to get it done ASAP. I had to make arrangements to pay for it (I didn't have 7 grand in my wallet) but was able to do so, and we got the job put on the calendar. Whew! (See More)

I was referred to 3 Mountains Plumbing by a friend and they were as good as promised. Klint visited to fix a clogged bathtub drain. Because of the age of my house, he needed to replace a pipe, but after he walked me through the issues of the pipe configuration I felt comfortable with his recommendation. They provide the price up front (based on an average time that it takes to complete the work), so you don't need to worry as time ticks away and you're billed by the hour. They were exceptionally professional through the entire process, from the initial phone call to schedule the appointment through the repair. If I ever have other plumbing issues, I will call them and will most certainly recommend to a friend. (See More)

3 Mountains sent Klint to our house to fix a clogged drain. The person who answered the phone when I called to set up an appointment was very pleasant and got me an appointment within 48 hours. Klint arrived right on time, fixed the problem in under and hour, and was clear about what he was doing and how much it would cost. I always appreciate when maintenance pros wear those little booties in your house too, so as not to track in dirt. Professional and pleasant, would recommend! On another note, their website is well designed and easy to navigate, which I think counts for something as well! (See More)

Excellent company. Appt was scheduled for between Noon and 2pm. I was asked when I scheduled the appt, if I wanted to be called if there is a cancellation or if they can come early. I said yes!! They also said they would make a note to call when they are 30 min from coming over, so I could then head home from work. Klint called at 10:30 to see if I was available at 11. I took a early lunch and met him at the house. It was great not having to wait around for hours. He saw the issue we were having, gave me a very fair price-I love the one price rule--not worrying what else might be added on at the end. He was very polite, clean and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing work done! They are wonderful!!!! (See More)

# Mountains did a very good job with a toilet leak repair after an initial miscommunication that was my fault Klint was able to come first thing the next mourning It took him about 5 hours to do the job and I was grateful that he did not have to come back If I need anymore work I will call 3 Mountains (See More)
