Mr. Mekonen put 5 lbs of refigeration in my system but before doing so he stated that I had a leak in my system and informed me of how to go about getting an updated system. He was very professional and tried really hard to save me money. I told him when I decide to invest in a new system I would consider ARS. (See More)

I am an assistant that was at the house for service to my bosses AC. Yonas was the assigned tech and was extremely knowledgeable and gave great advise on how to correct the issue. He also addressed/advised to handling some other minor issues that he noticed when servicing. (See More)

The service technician was outstanding. I am disappointed, however, at ARS's supply QA. The part that he installed ended up being faulty--no fault of his own--and caused my system to totally shut down within two hours of him leaving. He had to come back that day to fix it. At first, dispatch refused to send someone out the same day to fix the problem that was caused by the faulty part. I persisted. Overall I found everyone to be professional; however, I shouldn't have to fight to get someone to come back to my house and fix an issue that only manifested after one of your parts was installed. That is a simple training issue that can be quickly fixed. (See More)

Yonas was very police, professional, efficient and personable. He was initially greeted at the front door by my growling and intimidating rottie; he quickly made friends with her, winning her over in about 10 seconds and then went about his business. He was not pushy on the add-ons, but was informative and knowledgeable. I have been very satisfied with ARS, the unit that they sold me, and today's unit check-up. ARS installed our HVAC system last year and today was our first 6 month check-up, which we passed with flying colors. Our service professional, Yonas Mekonen, was prompt, polite and professional. I was lured by the TV offer of a low price check up, and disgusted by the pressure Yonas attempted to apply to sell us additional services costing hundreds more. To add insult to injury, he left muddy footprints all over the patio and tracked dirt into the house. I was a customer of ARS for many years. Now I remember why I left in the first place. (See More)

First, they got here earlier than they originally scheduled me for. Second "Yonas" was very professional, courteous, and answered all my questions. My heat pump compressor chose the night before the onset of the Jan. 2016 'Blizzard' to die on me. So the news was not good, but I got it sooner rather than later. I may end up getting my new heat pump (mine is 16 years old) from ARS based on my experience with them today (January 22nd). The only reason I did not give them the 5th star is because they couldn't really help me, although under the circumstances no one really could. I would not hesitate to recommend them though. I was pleased with my service technician, Yonas Makonen, he was very polite and did his job well. The only thing that displeased me was the cost. I was charged $49.00 for the service call for same noise problem I had last year. I just paid for my service maintenance for the year and they checked out my gas heating unit in Sept. In addition to the $49 service charge I paid ECM surge blower motor protector which was $164.00. The unite is not that old, purchased in 2010 with a 10 year warranty. I feel I should not be charged for the $49 service fee, very unhappy with the labor a pricing fees with ARS. (See More)
