My central AC stopped working in the muddle of a heat wave on the 4th. of July holiday. Not a good situation. I expected to wait days for service.When I called Universe I was so surprised and pleased that they came the same day. He worked for several hours to find the short that kept blowing a fuse, but had to come back the next day. I reminded him that the next day was the 4th.of July holiday and he replied "i'll be here" and he was. He spent hours in a sweltering attic, found the short and repaired it, fully covered by my service contract. To say that I am pleased is an understatement. Their service was outstanding and I can recommend them eagerly. By the way, tech Steve B. was absolutely the best. (See More)

I used Universe Home Services to convert from oil to gas. Honestly Tim the manager is the reason I’m giving this company 5 stars. The conversion process was not smooth and I had many problems along the way however Tim was always VERY professional, calm, and addressed all my concerns. He is a model for what customer service should be. I do think he needs to train others at the company on ways to put the customer at ease and offer them solutions to problems that arise. I am enjoying the gas heating. Lower monthly bills! Although we had problems with our system after installation I would likely use this company again should the need arise. (See More)

Nobody wants to have a problem with household stuff... plumbing, electric, heating, a/c, appliances... we'd all just like them to perform the way they're supposed to. Unfortunately, that's not how any of this works. Problems are inevitable. And it's when those inevitable problems DO happen that I'm glad I deal with Tim and the boys from Universe. They show up when they say they will, they do what they say they're gonna do, and they won't stop until it's all working the way it's supposed to. Gotta love it! (See More)

We have had issues with our heating unit purchased through universe for some time now. Tim B came over after many service technicians tried to fix and within an hour , we are up and running better than before. So far so good...
Thank you for your deligence and effort to get our unit working.
My only concern is that there is only one Tim B.
Maybe the technicians need to learn from the him.

Tim was very professional and on time.I had a busy schedule that day with Doctors visits due to a recent surgery and Tim was very accommodating.He looked over my old equipment and did some calculating which central air handler and compressor would keep me comfortable on those summer hot days.The service at Universe is Superior to any other company.Bill is the owner and operator of the business and is doing and unbelievable job.I would not go with any other company due to Universes service promise.Five year parts and labor on new equipment plus energy rebates.
