Universe did a great job for our oil to gas conversion and thermostat installation. Tommy (plumber), Dave and Vinny(electricians) were very friendly and punctual. The Plumbing supervisor,Thomas, really knows his stuff. Tom took the necessary time to analyze the problem and the necessary time to provide the alternative solutions to rectify the problem. We have been loyal customers of Universe Appliance Repairs for over 20 years as they're outstanding in both customer service and technical professionalism. Our water heater was hissing and gushing water at 4:40 on a Friday afternoon. Lauren in the Service Dept. ensured someone would be over our house within the hour. This was an emergency that could not wait and it was a relief that Thomas R. showed up at our door by 5:40pm. He attended to our water heater issues and made sure that we had cold water at least but we clearly needed a new replacement as it was 17 years old and worn. The next day Thomas showed up 20 minutes *prior* to the given window of time they gave us, much to our delight and replaced our water heater (solo) within 2 hours. This is a remarkable experience that is a rarity in other companies. Universe Appliance truly cares about their customers. We highly recommend them! (See More)

I am extremely impressed with the service that universal gave me when they responded to a broken water pipe.They were here at the time they told me they would be at my residence. They were professional, courteous and they were immaculate both in the way they repaired my pipe break and in the way they cleaned up.
I would recommend them to anyone if it’s a small job or a big job.

Thomas R. was excellent . To run a water line for our new refrigerator, he had to climb into a cabinet, snake the tubing through and around a corner cabinet and finally to the appropriate place.
