I immediately called Universe, and inside an hour, Frank C. arrived. he diagnosed my problem and swapped out the faulty part within minutes and ensured my heating was fully functioning. First used Universe (Appliance) nearly 40 years ago. When we could we had them install ductlessAC and convert to gas heat. Now use them for our service contract and for electrician or plumber. Never disappointed with the quality of service, the professionalism and courtesy every single one of them has shown and have written thankyous to the president of the firm stating same. Universe installed a new AC and heating system in my house. The sale person John Palmeri (He no longer work for this company) bragged about the new system and promised me a cool house in summer. But they installed a bad system and I had to call several times this company services to fix the bad installation and my house is not cooling well. Now they want me to spend another $10,000 to put a new system in the attic. I never recommend this company (See More)

Been with company since 2004. Always had a good experience, been paying care agreement yearly but was never given a temporary opinion on fixing the boiler with a sealeant. Had another Master plumber diagnosis and fix it and we have heat. Why have a maintenance agreement and not have an opinion especially since the problem was visible to fix. Needless to say we are disappointed. Don't know if this is not an opinion your company gives with the care agreement? (See More)
