Our family has been a customer for over 25 Years. We have never been disappointed by Universe. Called in the afternoon and was given a late evening service call. Eddie came to fix a leak in the bathroom sink as well as one in the kitchen.
The kitchen leak ended up being much more than we thought. He put us in touch with another company to take care of water remediation issues, which helped us a lot.

I had to replace the Ice Maker Valve before my new refrigerator could be installed. I was quoted a price of $400. The plumber also gave me a estimate to do it the "right way" which would cost $825. On the estimate the price of the Ice Maker Valve was $225. Both quotes were for Task # *******. The person from Universe told me the jobs are a fixed price according to the task. They refused to reduce the price by $175. tax. All total it took the plumber about 1 1/2 hours including the time he had to go back to the office to get the Valve part for the repair. Excellent plumbing service from Universe Appliance Repairs. After some searching, the service technician Ed discovered the cause of a leak in my basement was from a deteriorated pipe behind my kitchen sink. He repaired the pipe and corrected the situation. This is the second time I have used this company for a home service and was not disappointed. I first found them on Angie's List when I had an appliance problem on a Saturday and could not find any company that came out on weekends. They showed up in about 20 minutes & fixed everything for a VERY reasonable price. This time I had a plumbing problem, so I called and made an appointment. Eddie called about 45 minutes before the time & showed up right ON time. He was very polite, knowledgeable & professional. He fixed the problem quickly & efficiently and NO MESS! I called Universe for a bad clog in a Bathroom sink. Running water was impassable. One distraction like answering my cell in another room with the water running would result in a fast overflow right into the cabinet below and the tile floor beneath. Universe sent a Plumbing Technician named Eddie Sturm. Eddie was professional and quickly got about his business. He able to detect a major clog in the pipe and promptly removed it. He also fixed a broken drain stopper that I had to adjust beneath the closet manually. He also reminded me of a $30 discount coupon in a Circular as advertised by Universe for Plumbing service.
