I could not be happier with the work done
by the crew of Universe Home Services by Joe Peggy Jimmy and David they showed up promptly at 8:30 this morning to do a pretty big job in my house and they worked throughout the day even though it was cold and windy . their collaboration and contact with each other got the job done quickly and cleanly. I have been using Universe for heating services for several years now and have always been satisfied. So it was a no-brainer for me to call them whenever I had a plumbing or electrical issue in my home as well. Again, excellent service on both counts. Recently I had an electrical issue which was not an emergency, just something I was curious about pursuing with Universe. I called on a Saturday, hoping to make an appointment for the coming week, or even after that. I spoke to Frank, who was so pleasant and helpful. Two employees were on a call in my area .and Frank explained they could stop by and "take a look". Sure enough, my doorbell rang a short time later. Joe D and Peggy turned out to be my "dynamic duo" that day. Not only did they efficiently tend to my issue on the very same day, they were neat, polite, pleasant and extra helpful; in short, everything a homeowner wants when paying for a service. I'm writing to express sincere thanks to your electrician Joe D and his apprentice Vincenzo for their excellent work in replacing my electrical service from the outside PSE&G connection down to & including the service panel box in the basement. Joe had come out on Monday 1/7/19 to inspect the situation, and provide an estimate for the work including an explanation of the needs, etc. Today, Wednesday 1/9/19 he & Vincenzo came out to do this extensive installation and completed it in a very reasonable amount of time (noting the power was out during the work), explaining again what had been done and tidying up afterwards. Both workers are very personable, knowledgeable & skilled in their profession which was assuring while the work was done. In summary a very fine job and will consider Universe again as maybe needed for future home service needs. (See More)

The universe team led by Joe D visited my home and helped diagnose power issues I was having. He made some suggestions and looked around the panel. My panel had several issues included loose nuetrals in the panel and on the pole. I had them replace and upgrade the panel which was a decent sized effort. All work was done cleanly and in a timely fashion. I definitely recommend Universe and am happy I with the work they did. (See More)
