I called them for some plumbing work, plumber came to my home his name is Nick is very knowledgable guy, professional and willing to help me with every issue I have regarding plumbing. Very nice guy with positive attitude and professionalism. He fixed the problem and I have more job for him as I found him very nice and professional and understand the actual plumbing problems. We purchased a new refrigerator and required a refrigerator/icemaker water line run from under our kitchen sink to our refrigerator alcove across the kitchen. Nick M. came to us with three different options and we chose the copper tubing and new valve vs the less expensive way we had envisioned originally. All Nicks's work is warrantied. The work was done the same day with expedience and care. Nick M is a great tradesman and more importantly communicator and is an asset to Universe Home Services and us as a resource for future home projects. Kudos and a Bravo Zulu to the whole team. Universe has done our plumbing a few times already. Today we had Nick unclog and replace piping in our bathroom sink. He was very professional, explained what he needed to do, and gave us two options to consider. He wore a mask the entire time and made us feel comfortable with his services. Nick did a superb job for us! We had called to have a water heater (more then 30 yrs. old) replaced and a toilet tank water intake valve replaced. He convinced us that it was worth it to have both of our hot water tanks replaced because both were the same age & the one needing repair was in front of the other one, meaning if the other one developed a problem it would be harder to get at to repair. He also gave us a significant discount to replace both. It took him almost the entire day & in the end fix a second toilet & a leaking sink faucet as well. All the while he was courteous & cheerful despite the high heat & humidity of the day & incredibly neat in cleaning up any mess. All in all he was a good salesman as well as repairman. Nick replaced the waste and drain pipes, as well as the steam return pipe in my home. He brought the plumbing up to code and explained the job every step of the way. He is very courteous, showed up on time for the job, and does excellent neat, clean work. He made a big job seem easy. Very Disappointed!!! Wasted $190 with wrong diagnosis!!! Repaired problem myself !!! Tech looked at our Refrigerator and quickly said it was a Sealed System and would be less expensive to replace unit than repair. I paid for their service call but was not convinced Refrigerator would break after only 4 years so I went online to investigate common causes of Refrigerator not being cold but Freezer was cold. Sure enough, the 2nd item listed was to check Freezer for ice build-up. Ice Build up could blocks vents to the Refrigerator and cause problem. Technician never even opened the Freezer to look but told me to buy a new Refrigerator !!! I defrosted the Freezer and less than 24 hours later my Refrigerator has been working 100% like new for 2 weeks now. 36 Degrees. Wasted $190 for Tech to tell me I needed to buy a NEW $1,500 Refrigerator. If your Refrigerator is not cold but your Freezer is cold. Save yourself $$$ and defrost the Ice Build up in your Freezer before calling for service. (See More)

We had problems with 2 toilets in our house. Nick M. came, diagnosed the problems and gave us a few options, explaining each in detail. When we agreed on one, he came the next day to do the project. Nick and Shawn were both very professional and did outstanding work. We are very pleased with the work they did. We are in a very difficult situation having to pay for work to be done over again but when Nick told us that Shawn had been doing this work twice as long and he and assured us they would do what was right. Nick in our opinion demonstrated great strength of character and integrity in making that statement and not seeing it as diminishing his ability and we agree. I observed Shawn mentoring Nick at one point in the elbow work of the basement and Nick was receptive of the help and assistance. I also want to give a shout out to Shawn's dad for being available by phone to give him counsel as well. There being in our home just felt right and that is most important to us - the TRUST, and INTEGRITY was evident. We anticipate no problems and using Universe in the future as we bring this 100 year old house in to the 21st Century. (See More)

We were in a difficult situation. Nick came in with the sensitivity and understanding we needed because we were mistreated and were having to pay twice. He brought Shawn with him to do the job. He told us upfront, "Shawn has been doing this twice as long as I have." "You're in good hands and we are going to correct the problem." and They did! I have nothing to say but good things about Nick who sold us on
UNIVERSE and has the strength and integrity of character to not feel intimidated by acknowledging that while I am good and competent in my craft, there is someone who knows more than me. What sold me on UNIVERSE was Nick WROTE down the quote and what it was he was needing to do. Both Nick and Shawn were very professional and engaging. Shout out to Shawn's father who was just a phone call away as well. Thank you sir, for being available. There is much more work to be done on this 100 year old house and I see no reason not to call Nick again in the future. I wish the best for you Shawn on your new position and I sincerely thank you for coming back with Nick on day two to finish the job.
