Completely describe the problem to intake person and scheduled an appointment for summer to come out. When they came out they could not do anything because of some type of issue with homes built in the 70s and asbestos possibility in the sheetrock. Complete waste of time calling this company. Shannon came out to change my valves for my new washer and dryer that was going to be delivered. One thing lead to another, when he shut the water off. My Shower had no pressure when the hot water came through. And my cold water, but that had a little more pressure. Shannon fixed the problem but was here longer then he should have been. And he had to claim over my stacked unit which wasn’t an easy task.
Shannon did a good job. Thank you.

We called Scott English Plumbing in the morning because we had a water leak in our garage. An appointment was set up immediately and within a few hours someone was out. Kelly, the person who answered the phone, was very personable and friendly on the phone, and she answered on the third ring. When I called other plumbing companies, I got a voicemail, or a "somebody will call you back" answer. Some guys were on a job and you could hear them in the background. The National Companies transfer you all over, after they beg for your contact information. I told Kelly what the problem was and she arranged a plumber to come out on my time frame. She was also clear about the charges for the service call. Like Kelly promised, she called me thirty minutes before the tech arrived. Indeed, Kelly is a good "face to your company". The tech, Diego B. arrived on time. He was professional, friendly and most of all honest. After spending time evaluating the problem, he told me that my faucet needed a new nozzle to fix the water pressure problem. He told me once I got the part, I could install it or call them back. I went to pay him for his time, and Diego said that there was no charge. Then I remembered that Kelly told me that if they did not do any work, there would not be any charge. I'm a doctor and know nothing about plumbing. So, if a plumber wanted to be untruthfull, or upsell me, it probably would not be too difficult. I was more than fairly treated and everything that was promised was delivered. Thank you for the good service Mr. English. I would use you again in a heart beat! (See More)

I was searching the internet for information about hydro-jetting and came across the Scott English website. I called sunny California from Chicago and spoke with Kelly. She was amazing! Even though I was calling about a plumbing problem in Chicago she took the time to help me. She was very insightful and extremely resourceful. Due to Kelly's knowledge and experience in plumbing she helped make an informed decision. Our conversation prevented me from moving forward with my original plumber's plan and potentially making a terrible mistake. Jimi is knowledgeable, honest & polite. Although the problem I consulted Scott English for was not resolved with today's service call, Jimi performed a complete diagnostic of my entire home and did not suggest unnecessary repairs. This was appreciated as my home will be re-piped in June. I do feel the fee for Jimi's diagnostic expertise was higher than I expected and that is why he earned 4 rather than 5 stars. (See More)

Travis was very knowledgeable regarding what needed to be done with the hydronic heating system at a rental property I own. He kept me in the loop calling me when he arrived at the unit & when he completed the job. My tenants commented how nice he was & also noted how he was familiar with the hot water system at the development. Chris and Shannon did excellent work fixing my hydronic heating system and installing a new faucet and handles in the bathroom. I was impressed with the whole experience for the most part. Just wondering about one thing. After the diagnosis was made on the plumbing problem and no work was done to correct it, I specifically asked how much and the technician quoted me a price of $69. I proceeded to make out a check for that amount and then by the time I returned to pay him he said that the price was $149. I did make out another check for that amount. I would like to know why the price more than doubled In the few minutes that it took for me to write the first check. (See More)

William C. Saved my sanity, after a repaired slab leak we suddenly had more water coming from the same area. I was headed out to work so I could only hope it wouldn't keep streaming it. He called to set an appointment the next day but after hearing my concerns with more water he called to see if he could get approval for after 5. He did and showed up on time...he withstood my questions and my concerns as to why it was happening again. He explained why they call it a slab leak nod fter determining the ther were no leaks in my unit he set out to determine where the water was coming from...he was very thorough in solving the mystery and did. We had a leak in the basement garage of our condo and it appeared to be coming from our unit. Scott English Plumbing sent someone right out to check, and they decided they would have to open up the parking ceiling and run a camera into the pipe to find out what was wrong. We live in another state and made arrangements to come back for the appointment. Since we had to go home on the day of the appointment, they scheduled us as their first appointment of the day. They were on time, scanned the pipe, and found a crack in between our floor and the floor below. They are very professional and customer service oriented. (See More)

I returned home from two weeks away and had a leak in the ceiling in my bathroom. After my landlord contacted Scott English Plumbing Josh Moreno and his assistant Jose arrived promptly after I received a call from Kelly letting me know they were on their way. From the moment I opened the door they were courteous, professional, and took steps to make sure nothing was soiled in my home. After quickly diagnosing the issue they explained the next steps and got to work. I am extremely happy with this experience as after cutting a portion of the ceiling out they cleaned up the mess and left the bathroom as clean as it was when they got here. Scott English has been handling our plumbing issues for our condo for a few years and we have nothing but good things to say about them. I gave permission for the plumber to enter my garage, scheduling on the phone said the plumber would call 45 minutes before arrival. I never receive a call before or after, he left a hole in my ceiling, I don't even know when he showed up, what work was done, or if the work is completed or not. There is zero communication after initial scheduling, until this survey was emailed, presuming the work is finished? Still no explanation of work done and there is a hole in my ceiling. (See More)

I own a condo in Huntington Beach that has a recurring plumbing issue, requiring the main condo association plumbing line to be flushed out every 6 to 9 months. As the owner of the ground level end unit, when the main plumbing line begins to back up due to food, hair, etc going down our drains and causing clogs after the pipes merge just past my unit, my condos kitchen sink is the closest outlet to see the water backing up. Despite the association approving and paying for the plumbing services, previous plumbing companies have required that I be physically present to meet them at the condo unit and they always inspect my pipes to make sure I am not causing the clog. Scott English Plumbing promptly came out and assessed the plumbing needs, and agreed that what I said is correct and the service was necessary. Best of all, they acknowledged that there was no need to access my unit in the future in order to flush the main plumbing line which is located on the exterior of my condo wall. I thoroughly appreciate their exceptional service, for understanding the recurring need of this condo building and for saving me time by understanding that there is no need to access my unit to flush the main pipe. Next time i notice the main line backing up, I will definitely request my association use Scott English Plumbing's services. (See More)

Satisfied with the work the Scott English service tech performed in locating the source of a water leak in my townhouse. Technician was professional and courteous while performing the repair. My only recommendation which would apply to any plumbing company providing emergency service is to continually strive to reduce the response time. This is the second time we have called Scott English Plumbing, and again, we were extremely impressed with the service, interest in our problems, and getting the job done. In our second case, the problem was easily resolved by having Kevin having us run water throughout the house plumbing, which one bathroom we had not been using for almost a year. After detecting a gas leak and having the Gas Co. turn off our gas, Scott English plumbing was called in by our HOA. Kelly was very prompt in calling us, and Josh M. showed up at the appointed time. Josh was polite, efficient, very knowledgable, and, in short, very professional. He did the job, and kept us informed as to what was happening.
