So my mother and I went to the basement and found at least a foot of water ,the ceiling is about to collapse .I start panicking because a lot of our possessions especially my father who just passed away is in this room is now ruined luckily a plumber who we called to fix the pipe recommended this amazing company Restoration 1. The crew was out so fast they did a stellar job they knocked down the walls they cleaned up the water ,they moved our items into a pod , Sam even noticed mold growing on the ceiling and on some of the walls. They Worked their magic and our basement looks almost the same as when we first bought the house. Winter spoke to me and my mother like she knew us for years. She told me “ I will treat your house like it’s mines and do for your mother what I would want someone to do for mines” I believed her and if I ever have any other issues in the future I will definitely call them back Samuel I. 09/17/20 |

Restoration work started within 24 hours, and completed in five working days. Contractor agreed to accept the insurance assignment; and at least for now I haven't really had to deal with the insurance company myself, which was one less thing I had to deal with. Restoration 1's team was incredible. Stephen came out and assessed my basement immediately and was extremely thorough in his analysis and explanation to me of the steps that it will take to remediate the water situation from my water softener. The crew that came in to perform the clean up and setting up all of the equipment was equally great. They were detailed and I felt very comfortable trusting the cleanup of my house with their team. I love Restoration 1! Both Peter and Tyrone were professional, responsive, and so much help during a very stressful time. All the staff were polite and helpful while in my home, took the time to answer all of my questions, returned all of my calls promptly, and got the mess from a broken water pipe taken care of! Restoration 1 of Morris County has done amazing work for us. We came home from a vacation to a flooded house and were extremely overwhelmed and confused by the process of cleaning up our home and working together with our insurance company. We had another company come in to do the clean-up at first, but they were doing such a poor job that we brought in Restoration 1 and wish that we had from the start. They are the best. They were extremely thorough in going through all of our damage, documenting it, and explaining it to us. They have been so detailed in their cleanup that we have been able to rest easy that the job has been done well. Not only did they do their jobs well, but they helped us communicate with our insurance company, guide us to other companies/resources/contacts to help us with other aspects of restoring and rebuilding our home, and follow-up with us immediately after each step of the process. They were also extremely nice throughout the process. They are the only company I would recommend to any friends or family going through similar situations! I am really pleased with these guys. They came to me as a recommendation from my plumber. The main guy helped with with the insurance company to get the best adjustment i could get and then the rest of the guys doing the cleanup were polite and helpful. All I know is I am glad these people exist. I was at my whits with Choice Warranty(they suck) and after having a busted/frozen pipe for a week, no water, my friend saw how satisfied her Facebook friend was with this company and i decided to google them. I called and spoke with Tammy, she was a dream come true. She gave me the information I needed and assured me that they would help me through this ordeal. They worked with the Plumber to cap off the area where the pipe had busted, Rob T was the most personable people you would want to evaluate the issue when you are going thru this problem, it was like he was on call. Kade and his associate Brian were just very professional and explained exactly what they were doing and called everyday to come follow up on the progress. Ana called me to make sure everything was OK and if i had any questions or concerns about the process. The best part of this experience was that they worked directly with my insurance company.
