Larry G. has visited us twice on a wiring "fault" issue with our new Generac. The first trip involved checking the system, but an expressed concern about the vagueness of a error code. Reset the unit and it has operated once during a one hour or so power outage since then (its first "call" for service). But a second fault with the same code occurred about a week ago while we were out of town (there had been no power outage), and when Larry returned our call he sounded excited that he now had the fix for this issue. It only took a few minutes to install it and we appear to be ready for any needed operation of the system. Larry was prompt, confident and left us with assurance that we should not experience the problem again with the addition of a now recommended component. Thank you Larry and Reliable. (See More)

I have been using Reliable Heating and Air for longer than I can remember. Probably about 20 years. I subscribe to their preventive maintenance plan, which I highly recommend. Every technician that they have sent to my house, and every service they have performed, has been flawless. Highly skilled, professional, and courteous. I woke up hot around 3:00 am Sunday morning. Called answering service at about 6:00 am and was told a service tech would call me around 8:00 am. Larry arrived about 2 hours later. After explaining the problem to him he seemed to know where to look. Larry did the preventative maintenance on the unit on June 5, and thought the malfunction was due to the storm that rolled through Saturday. He had my system up and running in less than an hour. Furnace went out overnight, and we were in a bind on a cold Saturday morning. Called Reliable, and within 2-3 minutes after speaking with dispatch, a technician named Larry called me back. He talked over the issue with me a moment and then told me that he was nearby and would be en route shortly. Not only did he show up on time, he was totally professional. He knew exactly what happened and had it repaired in about ten minutes flat. The price was super affordable for a weekend call, and he even took a moment to explain to me some of the HVAC inner workings and how to spot some things myself on my units, and I appreciated it. I called Reliable around noon on Wed. and they had Larry G. out before 3:00 . He was very polite and quickly determined the problem and had the central heat up and running in less than a half hour. He also discover damage to the duct work and arranged for one of his co-workers to call me to set up a time for repairs. I was very satisfied with the service and the cost was quite reasonable. I've used Reliable in the past and they live up to their name. I had the fan go out on our AC/heat, called Reliable around noon and a technician (Larry) showed up by three. He initially diagnosed it as the fan itself but from experience changed out the board (cheaper and easier) which turned out to be the issue. Issue was fixed in less than an hour. Prices were very high on breaker and box. Those parts could have been bought at a fraction of what you charged at HD or Lowe's. Example, a double pole 30 amp breaker you charged $74.00. That very same breaker is less than $20.00 at Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware and most anywhere else. Same for the box. (See More)

It was Memorial Day - we came home from a picnic to find the house hot and the air conditioning not functioning. My next door neighbor suggested I call RELIABLE Heat and Air. I did so, not believing they would be open. I was surprised when my call was answered by a very professional and compassionate answering service. She took down my information and told me that I would have a call back quickly. Within 15 minutes Larry G called me back. After speaking with me, he said he would stop by my house as soon as he finished the call he was, on even though it was supposed to be his last. He was at my house within 45 minutes, diagnosed the problem and had our unit cooling the house again within an hour. Larry was courteous professional and compassionate. He was also obviously expert at his job. I was pleased and amazed by my experience with reliable heat and air. In a time where people rarely care about each other, it is uplifting and unusual to encounter an employee and a company that express such care and consideration for customers. Our A/C was not putting out as it should so we called for a check up on the system. The following day, the A/C was only barely putting out so we called back so Reliable would increase the time for our 'Check Up' appointment. But instead we had a service repairman to come out the same day! A part was needed so he did a temporary fix to the problem in order to keep us comfortable until the part arrived only a few days later. The part came in on time, we were comfortable the whole time, and the part was installed the same day! The repairman was great from the initial phone call to let us know he is on the way, during the service call, and afterwards, one could not ask for a more professional or skilled serviceman! We have always recommended them to our friends and will continue to do so. They are tops when it comes to customer satisfaction !! (See More)
