I was quoted a very high rate ($2800) to repair our system from another company, so I called Reliable to get a second opinion. They were prompt in coming out to the job, and were able to save us a ton of money. Our system needed a deep cleaning, I don't know that it had ever been cleaned when the previous owner's lived there and a $200 part. So for about $500 we have a working heat and air unit and that includes another cleaning that we pre-paid for. Our technician Teddy was very knowledge and polite. I also really appreciate the fact that he called me and explained everything while I was at work. I am the one who made the appointment so the little bit of extra time he took calling me in addition to speaking to my fiance at the house was appreciated.

Teddy Sneed is one of the sharper knives in your drawer. He recently (2/27/15) completed a repair job on my Maytag Dual-Fuel HVAC system by installing a redesigned collector box with a proper vacuum orifice to correct a manufacturer's design flaw. The flaw prevented the unit from operating at maximum efficiency, i.e., the unit couldn't maintain the desired set point on the indoor thermostat. You are fortunate to have someone of Teddy's calibre on your team. Not only did he exhibit knowledge and mastery of his craft, he is the prefect ambassador for your business. Reliable is a great company. On Friday afternoon, February 13, my fan motor on my furnace died. I called Reliable and learned that I needed a new motor. Although the company services many units, it was not one that it sold. Reliable had to order the part. Even though we were without heat over the weekend and the following Monday during a very cold spell, service manager David W. looked up my old unit model and learned it had one year left on a ten-year major parts and labor warranty--something I had forgotten. It saved me over $1,200! Serviceman Teddy S. stayed on top of the problem throughout coming to our rescue as soon as he could. There are not many companies that would have taken the time and effort to save me money on a unit they did not sell. Honesty, trust, and excellant service are very valuable qualities. I am now changing my former rating from 4 to a 5 star! Reliable called and scheduled a followup service call because their work is guaranteed and the first service call did not solve our problem. Since our unit is still under warranty, the cost of the replaced contactor was refunded and the first service call cancelled. Our second tech found a wiring problem and repaired it at no charge. Teddy S. is an invaluable asset to your business operations. He demonstrated expert knowledge and skill in his craft as he diagnosed and cleared a clogged condensate drain on my Maytag Dual-Fuel HVAC system on the coldest day of the season thus far in 2015. It was providential that a scheduled bi-annual system inspection had already been scheduled for the very day that the blower fan tripped out due to the clog.
Teddy and his partner quickly corrected the problem, restored heat and completed the inspection. My experience with your technicians indicate that they are all highly trained, but I would welcome an individual with his outgoing personality and expertise for future service and/or inspections! I am so happy I chose Reliable to install my new air conditioning system this year. We bought a house built in 1935 and the duct work and air conditioning units needed to be replaced. We received several bids and although Reliable was slightly higher than one of the bids, we chose them for a couple of reasons: 1) reputation and 2) maintenance plan. Reliable has lived up to its reputation. The first night I turned on my heater and had a problem, Reliable came to save the night (and my pregnant guest) from getting cold. While having our routine maintenance service done I was pleasantly surprised at the conduct of both of the techs. I wasn't sure which opening in the ceiling tile led to the attic but they searched and finally figured the best route. Not only did they show me so I would know in the future but they vacuumed up all the particles from the ceiling that had fallen all over the carpet. Very courteous and knowledgeable staff! (See More)

Teddy came to perform the fall inspection on my furnace. Besides checking the furnace, he checked the vents in each room to see if they were working properly. He asked if I had a carbon dioxide detector and explained how important it is. He was very knowledgeable (answering all my questions), was thorough, and courteous. I thought Teddy did a decent job fixing my air conditioning. However, he charged me to put my thermostat back on which I could have done myself. He didn't let me know initially that he would have to charge me for that. He should have been up front and honest about what he would have to charge for instead doing it on the back end. (See More)
