rich & jack only had to spend 10 minutes replacing the leaky toilet shutoff valve. they also said they'd call supply houses in the next day or so to find a genuine kohler float valve shutoff for inside the toilet tank. (See More)

I had my first service call with PANN this morning and found it to be an excellent experience. I was contacted the previous day for confirmation of my appointment, the technician arrived on time, was very thorough and neat. I ended up signing up for the service contract, which is very reasonable and has terrific features, which will bring me peace of mind. That also allowed me to save 15% on my bill today. (See More)

Pann installed a new part to a gas fireplace in Sept. which in mid Dec I discovered didn't work. When called for repair in mid Dec they could not send someone until mid Jan. When Steve came he did a repair which worked while he was here however with the warm weather I haven't used it since. (See More)

I could not ask for better service! I have used Pann for home services for about 15 years. In this situation, I contacted them on 1/2 about a problem with my furnace. Ryan came out the next day and determined that I would need to replace the furnace. Ryan and Kollin came today and installed the new unit - they were pleasant and professional and left the basement spotless. My new furnace is working just fine. I really appreciate how quickly they were able to provide installation. Everyone involved, the team in the office, as well as Ryan and Kollin were easy to work with, very responsive and helpful. Pann Home services was excellent. They call before they come out to confirm you are home, assess the issue and promptly fix it. My technition was familiar with the equipment and quickly diagnosed the problem. I recommend Pann highly. (See More)

Your pricing is outrageously out of line. I agreed to the $70 base service fee expecting that this would include the diagnostics and then a quote for fixing it. I was then hit with a $299 diagnostic fee for a very simple determination. It took 15 minutes to find the problem - a clogged filter and o-ring to replace. You then charged me $225 for simply cleaning a filter and replacing the ring. A total of $591 for 1.5 hour call is ridiculous. I will be contacting to request a refund. I have used Pann in the past but if I don't get a refund then I will never use you again, I have also started spreading the word about your absurdly high prices. This is very unprofessional. Had some trouble setting the appointment time and had to reconfirm a couple of times because they weren't sure when they could come, but the team was very responsive and helpful. It all worked out in the end. The technician was very friendly and professional. He explained everything clearly, and the service was good and prompt. Overall, a good experience. (See More)

Pann is one of the only places around that services gas fireplaces. Steve was courteous and made sure to keep everything tidy. Luckily it was only a malfunction with the switch but best to be safe and have them inspect it than to have a gas fireplace issue. He also did a Carbon Monoxide test prior to leaving to make sure everything was safe for our infant. (See More)

Came out to fix our old gas wall furnace (which heats our den). We couldn't get the pilot lit after it blew out. Arrived in allotted time and got our furnace working again. A part was fried and had to be replaced. Even had the needed part in the truck. (See More)

I am nowhere near as happy with this experience as I have been in the past. I had an appointment 2 weeks earlier and was told the parts needed for my furnace would likely take 1 week to come in. When I hadn't heard in 1 week I called and was told they would be in by the end of the week. When no one called me, I called back the following Monday to find that they had just arrived. I was given an appointment and asked to be at the end of the 4 hour window, to which they agreed. The tech was close to an hour late and only half the job could be done. I am still waiting for a call to schedule the remainder of the work. As always, when the work is done, it's good. But the organization is lacking. (See More)

Ryan showed me a problem with my heater and replaced a part . He pointed out other problems I have but i'm holding off right now because my heat pump is fairly old and I don,t want to put anymore money into it. I'm waiting for a price to replace the unit in the coming months. I would definitely refer Pann to friends and family. (See More)

Pleasant, on time, always keep you in the loop but this time missed an important issue. Two hours after leaving the apartment was getting colder & the heat still didn't come on, called a friend & found out the system needed to be bled, which was why the heat wasn't coming on. As a professional, this shouldn't have been missed & I should get some money back as the problem wasn't solved by your company. (See More)

They both worked well together and answered any questions I had as they worked. Two very nice gentlemen , polite and did job quickly. They cleaned up area upon completion and removed all debris. Every year I use Pann Home Services to check on my furnace. From start to finish this is a very professional experience, replete with reminder calls beforehand and this followup afterwards. Naturally the Service tries to sell products (in my case a $500 plus addition to their services). But: and I appreciate this: it is not a hard sell, just a recommendation. We had a leak in an old toilet. It could not be fixed, so Pann replaced it. They came on time and everything was done well. When the plumber *** had finished, we also discovered that there was a problem with the boiler, so he fixed that also. We were very happy with the service. (See More)

Gil completed the annual heating inspection on my Back Bay condo. His expertise, reliability and professionalism is beyond compare. Gil installed the HVAC system one year ago and understands the intricacies of repairing and maintaining the system, not an easy feat in an 1886 brownstone. Since the system was installed I've not had to use space heaters to keep warm or portable AC units to keep cool. I also subscribe to their annual service plan to assure that if I have an emergency a technician will always be available. I have been doing business with Pann for many years. The technicians are always knowledgeable, professional and respectful. They are willing to deal with whatever additional problems might come up. Today **** found a bird's nest in the dryer hose and cleaned the whole thing out even though they were here to fix the bathtub. Although they are expensive , it's worth the extra money to be confident that they know what they're doing and will do a fine job. I appreciated finding my tub sparkling clean. (See More)

My hot water tank broke and I called Pann Home Services. They were recommended by another contractor, so since I had no hot water - I called. I didn't know what else to do and am glad I called! I found the service to be professional, and first rate. Rich was the technician that was assigned to the job. He first examined and identified the issue, called the supply company where the tank was purchased from and found it still was on warranty. He switched it out, showed me how to best maintain the tank and cleaned up the area - as if he had never been there. Would I recommend them to others - absolutely. I plan to have them on speed dial. Rich spent 15 mins working on the faucet . He came and told us it was beyond repair and charged us $303! I was beyond belief that he would charge us for a repair that he didn't do. I told him I felt ripped off so he took off $50. He then said it would cost us another almost $500 for him to come back and install a new faucet that we would provide. He implied that he "might" give us a credit from the $253 towards this work. I called around to friends and spoke to a plumber at Monique's . Everyone I spoke to was amazed at the charge. I called a supervisor who we had worked with before at Pann. I then found out that he no longer worked for Penn but he said he would contact them and ask them to call me. So far no one has called. I hope this robbery can be straightened out to a reasonable and fair conclusion. Please have a manager give me a call at 617-441-4094. (See More)

My ac broke down monday night so I called them tuesday at 7pm. I explained we have a baby and it was really hot for him. I found Pann Home Services through a ****** search. It is always nice to find nice, professional technicians to enter your home. From the first phone call, to the follow up reminder the day before the appointment, everyone was extremely courteous and very professional. I told ***** and **** that it is a nice sign when they take the time to put booties on their shoes to ensure your home is kept clean. They had their own blankets and proceeded in a very concise manner to account for the cause of our problem with our gas fireplace. They replaced our generator which was old and cleaned the fireplace checking for all functioning parts that may cause other problems. They also took the time to help me rearrange the logs to my liking. Patient at every step. Super job and result. (See More)

Pann Home Services repaired a water heater that they had installed for me almost four years ago. The repairman Pete was a very professional and smart technician who completed the work in a timely manner even though it was a complicated repair of a Geospring hybrid energy saving unit. Even though I had balked at an earlier price estimate they recognized the error and did the repair at a reasonable price. Scheduling and reminders were also easy and convenient. (See More)

I have used Pann for years. They are a little high on prices but worth it because they are so clean. Recently, however. I had a very bad experience with them. I had called to have four smoke detectors replaced.Somehow the order was put in as change the batteries. The person who came was great and changed the batteries and was done in 15 minutes. I had assumed the smoke detectors were being replaced and agreed to a price of 300.00. It was not until the serviceperson left and I read the repair sheet that I realized it did indeed say replace batteries. A couple of phone calls took care of it and the bill was adjusted but it took a couple of phone calls and a bit of arguing on my part to get it straightened out. I am not that aggressive a person so it was sort of hard to make the second call when I did not get a call back. I have had a bad feeling about this ever since. It bothered me that someone would actually write up a bill to change four smoke detector batteries and put down 300.00 as the charge in the first place. Someone should have caught that or, at least, not have put a customer in the position of almost having to beg to have it corrected. (See More)

This is my first time dealing with this company. The receptionist was very pleasant and explained to me how they work. I was given a same day, afternoon appointment which I really appreciated. **** showed up to do the job. He is very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained to us what he was going to do and how much it would cost. The job was finished promptly and **** also explained to us how the company works. Scott was our primary plumber through the somewhat complicated installation and he is very professional. I recently needed to find an organization that could service our heating/cooling system, water heater as well as our gas fireplace. As it turned out the most difficult technician to find in MA is one certified to work on gas fireplaces. After calling three different organizations, I found Pann Home Services who sent out ***** to take care of our inoperable fireplace. He was prompt, professional and able to diagnose and fix the problem in short order. He also took the time to walk me through everything to insure there were no questions or potential issues. I recently moved to Milton and both heating systems are acting up. I signed up with Pann Home Services as the prior owner also used them prior.
