I was very happy with the highly professional work Peter K did at my home. I was working with a different company but switched due to a poor experience and the other guy wanting me to buy expensive things I feel I didn't need. I felt Peter was honest about the repairs that were actually needed to our heater and furnace systems, correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it the first time. I just became a member, as I needed work on my AC unit and it was actually a cost savings to join. Plus now the parts are under a 3 year warranty. Peter K was the technician, and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He had to come 3 times, first time to inspect it, and figure out what part to order, second time to install and test part, which led to discovery of a wiring issue, which would have degraded the new part quickly. So then third visit was to install that other part and fill the AC with some Freon. I'm glad it was fixable, and that now I can have them come inspect my plumbing, and heating in the fall. Having one company to call is so much easier to remember and peace of mind to be able to call if something happens in the middle of the night, etc. (See More)

I had such a great experience with Pann Home Services. My central air went out on a super hot day (of course). I found Pann online and gave them a call. They offered me an emergency call and sent a contractor out right away that day. He diagnosed the problem and went through the repair with me thoroughly. We had to order the part and as soon as it came in, they were back to install it. Now my A/C is back and running great. I highly recommend Pann to anyone with HVAC or other needs. (See More)

My heating died last Sunday afternoon, a day after a snowstorm. I called PANN and within 1-1/2 hours, Peter arrived at my door and determined that the furnace motor had burned out. He said he would be back the next day with a replacement, explained the cost, and left me hopeful. He also offered me a space heater to get me through the night. As a brand new PANN customer, I was thrilled with the quick response to my emergency call!! Long story short, within 24 hours of my original call, Peter was back with a new motor and I had heat again. He was efficient, knowledgeable, willing to answer all my questions about the heating system, and a really nice guy.

peter k was exceptionally thorough in inspecting all aspects of our steam boiler, and we went ahead with his $1500 of preventative maintenance recommendations to replace corroded parts that were 10-15 years old. we've used Pann for fall heating system checkups for 10+ years, and have been very happy. last fall, peter single-handled created a clean out for our makeup air vent, which really wasn't a 1 person job; but he mustered thru. and as well, Pann responded to an unexpected water heater leak that occupied most of a day in 2010. We initially used Pann because our previous homeowners had, and they were effective during a boiler mis-hap. (User error, entirely on our end.) We decided to try Pann out for boiler maintenance a year later, and I was really impressed. Our boiler hadn't been properly serviced for some time, so Peter K. came out and did a very thorough cleaning, replacing multiple parts and taking more than two hours. It of course wasn't cheap, but I feel like it was worth it. He spent a lot of time here, and explained every step in the process, so I also learned more about how the boiler works. The central dispatch office is also friendly and professional -- I had to call back with several questions and they always responded quickly and accurately. We're quite happy with Pann! (See More)

Peter K today went way above & beyond by doing the work of 3 helpers all by himself, with a little help from me. We've used Pann at our South End condo for 10 years -- usually for annual preventative maintenance of our gas steam boiler that serves 10 units, but also for emergencies. The emergencies were replacement of both 75 gal water heaters in 2010, and last year, for about 5 visits of various different components that went kaput in the middle of that really bad Boston winter. Today, 11/24/15, Peter K came back to do 4 preventative maintenance things on the boiler, which he cited in his prior discovery visit 2 weeks ago. Today, he really went all out physically to remove & jostle & reinstall the 25 lb outdoor air duct that provides fresh makeup air for the gas burner combustion. Today was the coldest day so far this year in Boston, so although 1-2 helpers would've been ideal, he powered through the whole job himself - and with a great attitude. I guess his potential helpers who could've come along were busy elsewhere. It's awesome to have people in the service industry who sincerely enjoy their jobs. Luis came to our home on Tuesday, June 18, and fixed the long-standing problem with our garden hose connection with our main water line. The (external) connecting pipe had been exposed to the cold and cracked every spring. We had another plumber solder the pipe, but the quick-fix didn't last.
Luis completely removed the compromised pipe and created a new connector mechanism so that the connector pipe was no longer exposed to the elements. For the first time in 2 years, we now have a working garden hose.
Luis was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. He worked efficiently in what was a hard-to-access space, and explained his procedure thoroughly.
We were very happy with Luis and his workmanship. We continue to be delighted with Pann's service and personnel.

I have joined PANN Home Service Protection Plan. I gave them an emergency call when there is a hot water and heating system problem and they have responded quickly. As there is a special unique parts needed to be ordered from the boiler manufacturer, they came back immediately after they have got the parts. The two technicians Peter and Pete both have worked diligently and fixed the problem. They also stayed further to test the system and verify to make sure the problem is fixed satisfactorily.
