In the process, he dealt with road-work on my street (he walked his tools back and forth from his truck around the corner to my house), as well as the unsuspected remains of several dead mice. The team from Pan was great . Someone’s had installed a new boiler a few years ago and didn’t put in a magnetic filter causing it to fail. They came out to check on the new one service with its service contract and gave us recommendations on how to keep it in good shape. Very polite competent reps.

I've used PANN for three years to install and service my HVAC systems. I, also, maintain a service contract with them. They are trust-worthy and reliable. Ryan, who is courteous and patient, came out recently to complete a seasonal check on my units and to make sure they were running properly and efficiently. Before using PANN, I had another local company install a new system, which never worked properly. After several service calls to the "other guys" I was told that heat pumps do not work well in extreme cold and that was why the temperature would not go above 58 degrees. Really?!! Then why did you install it? Living in a brownstone building with several other units, heat pumps are the best option for heating and cooling each individual unit. Tired of dealing with the "other guys," I contacted PANN. Within one hour the problem was diagnosed, which the "other guys" could never do. The "other guy" system was never installed correctly from the beginnning. The condensors were not compatible with the air handlers!! Anyway, PANN refigured the system, not without cost, but both the heat and air conditioning work extremely well. Very happy customer... (See More)

On the scheduled day, they called and gave me an exact time and Ryan arrived on time. he quickly checked every area that could cause my problem with our gas fireplace. I am very unhappy. For two days I have turned the air condition. and it is not cooling. The thermostat say 83 10AM. Now it is 8:00PM, the thermostat still say it is 83. I am now perspiring. I recently had Kollin from PANN Home Services out to do the annual inspection on my AC unit. He did a great job, found a lot of issues that hadn't been addressed, over the past 3 summers, by a prior AC contractor from another company, so it was an expensive visit, but I feel confident that my unit is in good shape for the next few years. Bill & his co-workers were great--efficient, professional. And they clearly explained what the cause was of my bathroom leak--and what needs to be done. In this case, the fault was from another neighbor's plumbing. I was able to give exact instructions to my neighbor, so she can relay it to her own plumber.
They welcomed all of my questions.

I could not ask for better service! I have used Pann for home services for about 15 years. In this situation, I contacted them on 1/2 about a problem with my furnace. Ryan came out the next day and determined that I would need to replace the furnace. Ryan and Kollin came today and installed the new unit - they were pleasant and professional and left the basement spotless. My new furnace is working just fine. I really appreciate how quickly they were able to provide installation. Everyone involved, the team in the office, as well as Ryan and Kollin were easy to work with, very responsive and helpful. Your pricing is outrageously out of line. I agreed to the $70 base service fee expecting that this would include the diagnostics and then a quote for fixing it. I was then hit with a $299 diagnostic fee for a very simple determination. It took 15 minutes to find the problem - a clogged filter and o-ring to replace. You then charged me $225 for simply cleaning a filter and replacing the ring. A total of $591 for 1.5 hour call is ridiculous. I will be contacting to request a refund. I have used Pann in the past but if I don't get a refund then I will never use you again, I have also started spreading the word about your absurdly high prices. This is very unprofessional. Pann is one of the only places around that services gas fireplaces. Steve was courteous and made sure to keep everything tidy. Luckily it was only a malfunction with the switch but best to be safe and have them inspect it than to have a gas fireplace issue. I am nowhere near as happy with this experience as I have been in the past. I had an appointment 2 weeks earlier and was told the parts needed for my furnace would likely take 1 week to come in. When I hadn't heard in 1 week I called and was told they would be in by the end of the week. When no one called me, I called back the following Monday to find that they had just arrived. I was given an appointment and asked to be at the end of the 4 hour window, to which they agreed. The tech was close to an hour late and only half the job could be done. I am still waiting for a call to schedule the remainder of the work.
As always, when the work is done, it's good. But the organization is lacking. (See More)

Pleasant, on time, always keep you in the loop but this time missed an important issue. Two hours after leaving the apartment was getting colder & the heat still didn't come on, called a friend & found out the system needed to be bled, which was why the heat wasn't coming on. My hot water tank broke and I called Pann Home Services. They were recommended by another contractor, so since I had no hot water - I called. I didn't know what else to do and am glad I called! I found the service to be professional, and first rate. Rich was the technician that was assigned to the job. He first examined and identified the issue, called the supply company where the tank was purchased from and found it still was on warranty. He switched it out, showed me how to best maintain the tank and cleaned up the area - as if he had never been there. Would I recommend them to others - absolutely. I plan to have them on speed dial. Pann Home Services has been my "go to, one-stop shop" company for several years. They have replaced a water heater and heat/ac system. Recently, the ac needed service. I called and spoke to ********, who was professional, courteous, and listened. She promptly made an appointment for the same day. ******* ***, **** was on-time, quickly assessed the problem, and fixed the ac. He knew just what to do! I found Pann Home Services through a ****** search. It is always nice to find nice, professional technicians to enter your home. From the first phone call, to the follow up reminder the day before the appointment, everyone was extremely courteous and very professional. I told ***** and **** that it is a nice sign when they take the time to put booties on their shoes to ensure your home is kept clean. They had their own blankets and proceeded in a very concise manner to account for the cause of our problem with our gas fireplace. They replaced our generator which was old and cleaned the fireplace checking for all functioning parts that may cause other problems. Miscommunication led me to expect workman to arrive at an earlier time than was the case; he showed up as soon as the problem was made apparent.
He diagnosed the problem to be greater than I had thought and offered a (likely) solution, to which I agreed. It will involve more time, effort and cost than one might wish. I have to assume that his diagnosis is correct and not an attempt to require more work than is necessary (a ploy used by other companies). On Wednesday when the work is to be done I can judge more accurately.
Incidentally, your choice of ratings should include "not relevant," since "quality of work done" is not relevant in this case. (See More)

Although my repairman's visit had twice to be rescheduled, when he did arrive he did an excellent job of tuning up and cleaning my furnace, spotting problems and dealing with them in an efficient manner. The persons I dealt with on the phone were also very courteous and caring. PANN's prices are high, but so is the level of the work done. I asked if somebody can help me over the phone because I believed that it should not be a big deal, and the lady insisted on sending a technician. When the technician came, it just took him a minute to turn the tank on. I think it is really outrageous to charge me 69.95 dollars for which the problem could be definitely solved if I could consult a technician over the phone! Luis came to our home on Tuesday, June 18, and fixed the long-standing problem with our garden hose connection with our main water line. The (external) connecting pipe had been exposed to the cold and cracked every spring. We had another plumber solder the pipe, but the quick-fix didn't last.
Luis completely removed the compromised pipe and created a new connector mechanism so that the connector pipe was no longer exposed to the elements. For the first time in 2 years, we now have a working garden hose.
Luis was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. He worked efficiently in what was a hard-to-access space, and explained his procedure thoroughly.
We were very happy with Luis and his workmanship. We continue to be delighted with Pann's service and personnel.

Ryan O'Neil came out in early May to do my AC service. He found that I needed a new capacitor and so I called to schedule that service. I was happy to see Ryan come back to do the work, as well as clean my air handler. He is polite and pleasant. He does the job efficiently and he is thorough. He is respectful of my home, always cleaning up behind himself and always putting shoe covers on without being asked to do so.
