Never got any information at all! Just a huge waste of our time working with this group.
I rate two stars because no one was outwardly rude, the rep Matt L came to perform an estimate on time, one star, and was friendly and nice, two stars. Then three or four weeks later I said Where’s that estimate? Call, get someone who “passes it on” and I never hear back. A week goes by so I’m practically begging now I write to the main front desk asking for the estimate!? He calls and says Can we set up a time to talk?
I really don’t need to have some weird meeting when all I asked for, and what the camping says they’ll do, is get an estimate. I guess they got the estimate and didn’t think they should share it with the customer!
I understand being busy which is why I called them, then wrote them, and after two months I’ve never even heard back from anyone about our estimate.
Pretty pathetic if you ask me. If you don’t want to work with small time home owners don’t send anyone out. Now I’m months behind. I will find anyone other than this business to work with. I shouldn’t have to beg for something. I wish I’d never bothered with their Shop local scheme. Matt L. 03/31/21 |

I was in a jam. The springs on my garage door broke, my car was in the garage and I couldn't leave. I contacted ODW with my problem and although their first opening was in two days I had Bart at my door in less than an hour! I am so grateful Bart was personable and assured me things would be fixed in no time. He explained things and was true to his word. Not only did the company exceed our expectations by taking care of our shop door with a broken spring the day b4 schedule, But they sent 2 Service men, Bart & Shane that did a fantastic job, timely, precisely & with the utmost courtesy. Employees like this are not easy to find in this day & age and Omaha Door is lucky to have them as team members.

We recently required maintenance on our garage door. Mike showed up right on time and quickly determined what problems there were to fix. In a very short time, our door was fixed so that it ran like it was new. Mike was extremely professional and courteous. We are 100% pleased with ODW's staff and service.

My repair request was addressed quickly, courteously, and surprisingly about 25% less costly than expected. I was happy to learn of no need to replace the door panel, and esp. The garage door. Great experience, from my initial callin for garage door repair, to damage assessment, to appt/repair work. Damage assessed was much less than I'd initially dreaded". The team at ODW is always amazing and why we continue to go back to them.
The price did catch me off guard tho, $160 to change out rubber stripping under garage door that took approx 20 - no more than 30 minutes - it was quite quick.
I was expecting $90ish - going rate for 1 hour because some companies charge a full hour even when less, but definitely was not prepared for $160 ~
It seems everyone is charging more than usual these days, as we've had other services done by various companies/individuals in recent months, and prices seem inflated with them too. ;-/

My new steel door wasn't the exact same size as the old wooden door because steel doors are only sold in 3 inch increments. This caused some trouble with the opener being in the way of the door that didn't exist before. Three different technicians claimed they had adjusted our garage door and it still did not go up and down smoothly. I was promised a manager would call. Kelly removed and installed our new garage door. He put much effort and pride into the job. I knew the old original door would be quite a task. I chose to let the professionals at Omaha Door & Window do it.
The door for this house had to be special ordered if I did it myself.
Their price was pretty close to me doing it myself. They also replaced necessary wood, which would have cost me extra money and extra time.
When the salesman showed up for a quote,
he was very professional and knowledgeable.
The price was exactly what I wanted to pay.
It was a done deal.
I would recommend ODW to everyone.

We think our salesman ordered the wrong color door, but it wasn’t until the doors were in place before we noticed it.
The doors are only a couple of weeks old and are already squealing.
