We had an excellent experience with Mission, and everyone we worked with throughout the process was wonderful. We requested an estimate on replacing our complete HVAC system when ours died, and they were able to send someone with just a matter of hours. Their estimate was lower than two others we had received, and it was a better system than the others were offering. They were able to set up an install the following day (Friday) despite it being the busy summer season AND an upcoming holiday weekend. The technicians (Steven and Bryce) arrived on time, worked hard, and didn't bother me once while I was working from home. They cleaned up after themselves, showed me/explained to me everything they did, and had financing paperwork ready to go as promised with no surprises. They were in and out in approximately 6 hours as was estimated. We would definitely work with this company again (See More)

I would recommend Mission Plumbing Heating and Cooling to anyone!!! I had over 10 companies come and quote me on a full HVAC replacement and no one took care of me like Eddie Cone with Mission. My husband and I were shopping around for a new HVAC system. We knew we had a tight budget and that we may have to go a bit above what we wanted to spend to accomplish that. From the moment Chad showed up I knew this was the company i wanted to go with. He was on time, knowledgeable and professional. We had Steven and Anthony show up this morning on time for the installation. They were quiet, clean, and quick. If it wasnt for the occasional bang I wouldn't have even known they were here. Steven showed me how to set my thermostat and Anthony took the time to point out differences in our new system versus our old. I cant thank Mission Heating and Cooling enough. Steven H. and Gabe W. of Mission Plumbing Heating & Cooling replaced our furnace, AC and humidifier. From the moment they stepped into our house, we were impressed by them. They were on time, organized, efficient, and very professional in every way. We had planned on being cold all day, but they had the new furnace up and running by around 2:00 p.m. They were not finished with the job yet, but we really appreciated having the heat back on so soon. It was a snowy, messy day, but they were extremely careful not to track any of the mess inside. They treated our house and us very respectfully. They were excellent and patient while showing us how to use our new equipment and answering our questions. They did not seem to be in a rush to leave. They removed all of the old equipment and cleaned up so well you would not be able to tell they had even been here. They went the extra mile, too. Our new thermostat didn't quite cover the opening in the wall where our old thermostat had been, so Gabe went out to the truck and got a plastic plate that he was able to use to cover the hole. It fit so perfectly behind the new thermostat that if you didn't know better, you would think it was part of the thermostat. Also, Steven and Gabe were supposed to revise our old humidifier drain pipe by adding an elbow bend to it where it drained into the floor drain (so it wouldn't get moved when we bumped or stepped on it, which had been the case for about 20 years). Instead of just leaving the old drain pipe and adding the elbow bend, they totally re-routed the drain pipe (and added the elbow bend) so that it looks so much nicer, is way more functional, and is out of our way. Genius--and so appreciated!!! We would definitely recommend Mission Plumbing Heating & Cooling. (See More)

When I call for regular service or today, for a problem with my furnace, Mission Plumbing Heating and Cooling is quick to give a service call. Today Shannon sent Steven H. to my home quickly because my furnace was not working. He was prompt, extremely efficient and kind. He found an issue that a different company had missed in the original installation. Steven also found my air scrubber was bad and fixed the problem. It was still under warranty and now the unit should work as it should. I switched a few years ago back to Mission for their excellent service. Today Steven H. proved they are the best. Steven was an excellent technician who came to do the annual tune-up for my furnace. He was very professional and answered all my questions. He spent extra time working on my humidifier and correcting a problem with water flow. He cleaned the drain pipe and he found that there was no orifice so he replaced that as well. He gave attention to properly clean and reset myself Air cleaning system which is attached to my furnace. I would highly recommend him! (See More)

11/1/19 - I've decided to replace the whole heating and cooling unit and went with Mission after consulting with four different contractors.
I am pleased to say that these guys came out as they were supposed to and knocked this project out in a timely manner fashion.
Work looks great and the heating unit is doing it's job so far.
Wasn't really able to test the cooling unit in this cooler weather so I'm excited to see how well it'll cool the house when summer rolls around.

I am pleased to say that these guys came out as they were supposed to and knocked this project out in a timely manner fashion.
Work looks great and the heating unit is doing it's job so far.
Wasn't really able to test the cooling unit in this cooler weather so I'm excited to see how well it'll cool the house when summer rolls around.

After seeing all the TV commercials and getting several advertisements in the mail, I expected a top notch install. Not what I got. I asked the tech Tom to fix a couple of things, he did fix most of them but got upset over it. He apologized and explained that he wasn’t feeling well. Not really my problem, poor customer service. I told him to go ahead and leave, I’d fix the thermostat that wasn’t mounted correctly. I remounted it, on the back plate that didn’t match the color of the thermostat. The basement smelled of natural gas, I had to open some windows and turn on some fans to get it out. Thanks for that little surprise. I called our sales guy, Pat, he was the only bright spot and he did offer to do something. Not sure of what he could have done to make it right, just wish it could have been a better smoother installation. (See More)

Our 20 year old air conditioner quit working on a very hot Friday evening - we were able to call and quickly get an appointment. The unit was repaired and we chose to install a new air conditioner and furnace. The sales rep met with us Saturday, gave us detailed information, quoted a competitive price (deducting the repair cost from the cost of the new unit) and arranged for installation on Tuesday. Yes, I paid a bit more for my 2-head Mitsubishi mini-split, but I did so after several interactions with other companies and I decided to go with Mission Plumbing, Heating & Cooling because of an intangible - I considered them more professional which means I had greater faith in their abilities. I'd already done considerable research about the brand, etc., so it was about who would do the installation well. I was not disappointed in that respect. Bryan S., Steven H. and Steve handling the outside work were efficient and knowledgable about working with a 1928 house with all of its idiosyncracies, some of which required a "Plan B" approach to accomodate unforseen hiccups as they popped up. Since my installation was just yesterday, I can't comment on the long haul performance of the product or how well the installation will hold up. (While in no way Mission PHC's "fault", I would have preferred financing through a company other than Wells Fargo for reasons I won't go into here, but that was unavoidable and, of course, all of these corporate actors are from similar mindsets and methods.) We had very good experience with Bryan and Steve's installation of new AC/Furnace and Zoning of our 2 Story House.
The outdoor unit looks great! Mounted on a gravel based /fiberglass platform. The indoor unit (furnace/AC/humidifier) all looks good, you can tell they put effort into doing a good job.
The Zoned 2nd floor - with the wireless thermostat and power vents have made a difference in our upstairs beadrooms, no longer do we have a 6 or 7 degree difference (caused by the heat rising from the 1st floor.

I was so impressed, satisfied, and pleased with MPH&C, I received at least 5 estimates, but Eddie came out and I was very pleased with what he had to offer. I needed a furnace, AC, hot water tank and duct work. The price I received from Eddie was lower then the other companies and I also received a higher efficiency unit to boot. The first company I received an estimate from called while Eddie was there and he tried to pursuade me not to use MPH& C, but in the end he stated OH that's a very good deal, we can't beat that. When Steven and Chad arrived two days later for my installation they were very professional, friendly and courteous. They worked really hard all day and answered all of my questions, and believe me I had a lot of questions. Eddie even came out again on the day of the installation to make sure I was pleased with the work the crew was performing. After Steven and Chad completed the job, they tested the units to make sure everything was in proper working order. They showed me how to operate everything. Eddie C. quickly responded to my many emails, phone calls, and concerns, including on weekends. He explained all the options clearly, more like an advisor than a salesman. Their prices were competitive. Mike, Steven H., and Josh showed up on time and worked all day to install the system. When I pointed out that an a/c panel was dented, Steven H. called his office and a new panel was ordered. They put down floor coverings to protect the carpet. They used shoe covers too. At the end they cleaned up and hauled away everything, not putting anything into my trash bin. They answered all my questions and explained how to use the system. We called MPHAC Monday, December 7 at 8:15 am. By 10:00am, Joe was at our home to repair our heater. After speaking on the phone Monday morning I gave the company a heads up that I was potentially interested in a whole new system, including air conditioning. The timing was impeccable, and Joe was very nice and helpful. The ONLY complaint I have is that when I called to inform them that I was interested in a whole system I informed them that I wanted to let them know so they can bring any paper work needed. At the end of my appointment with Joe, I decided on a new system that they told me could be installed the next day! Steven and Gary showed up Tuesday morning on time, they were even early. They were able to install our system in 6 hours, including clean up and everything. They did a beautiful job, were very nice, and efficient as well. We have been impressed by the company. After the install, we called the company to ask about starting the process of the KCPL rebate. We were informed that paperwork was supposed to be completed during our repair with Joe. Just FYI, your heater has to be working in order to have this paperwork completed. Anyway, this was not done for us, even though I did call and inform them that I was interested in the new unit and spoke with Joe about the rebate. He never mentioned any paperwork involved and did not have the info for the rebate. This is not to blame Joe in any way, but had the company supported the KCPL rebate, we could have upgraded our system knowing that we were getting that money back in a rebate. It may have been a communication error through the scheduling office and the repair service workers. This could also benefit the company and be a good selling point and tool for the company to use in order to have customers upgrade their systems to the next efficiency level. Our furnace died on Friday. Saturday morning we woke up to a very cold house. I called Eddie with Mission PHC. He came out within a couple of hours of the call. After about approximately an hour and telling Eddie what we needed and our price range. He said he would crunch the numbers and call me later. A couple of hours late he called back and given us 4 possibilities to choose from. And from those choices we made our selection. And we asked him when this could be done and he said we could do it Monday. Steve H. and Gary showed up on Monday morning at 8am and worked until close to 7pm until the job was done. Steven H. and Gary were very professional and did a great job. We were very impressed that they were able to install our furnace and A/C so quickly and were very friendly and courteous throughout the installation. Steven was patient in the process of explaining the new furnace and air filter, humidifier, thermostat details and answering our question.
