I can't say enough good things about this company. My experience began with Roseanne when I first called, she was very helpful and sweet. I had a carbon monoxide issue with my water heater and Eric J came and not only installed a new water heater but was very thorough and made sure all possible causes were inspected and taken care of. At the same time my air conditioner also failed during the hottest weeks of the year and he was so knowledgeable and helped me select the best HVAC system for my needs. The installation was led by Chad along with Eric J, Josh and Eric G. They were not only a well oiled machine but also were so kind. The house temp was greater than 90 degrees and I was so worried about how hard they were working and their safety and encouraged many breaks but they were so focused on getting the air back on for me. After installation Chad made sure to explain the whole system to me and answer all of my questions. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is I highly recommend this business when you are wanting a professional, knowledgeable company with such caring employees. (See More)

Chad and Jarrod came out right on time and immediately started on the job. They were pleasant and courteous and neat the whole time they were here at our house. The job was professionally done and tested before they left and they cleaned everything up so you really couldn't tell they were here except for the new a/c and furnace. The 4 gentlemen previously named were very professional in their handling of our recent air conditioning problems. Kyle's knowledge of his product was very reassuring & was very easy to work with. Steve, Pat & Chad were very professional in their installation of the equipment. They carefully covered the carpeting area during the installation & they cleaned floor around the furnace area when they were finished. The new installation appears to be working fine. Chad serviced one of our A/C units that was not running, even after another HVAC company had unsuccessfully attempted to service the same unit. In less than 15 minutes, Chad had the unit up and running. He then meticulously demonstrated how the other company had attempted to use old/damaged parts, which caused its failure. Chad's expertise, skills and genuine personality places him in a league by himself! I will certainly be utilizing Mission for ALL future HVAC work! (See More)

We replaced our furnace, AC, filter unit and humidifier with Trane and Aprilaire products and used Mission Plumbing Heating and Cooling. I do want to mention that MPH&C installed the units original to the house over 22 years earlier. They have maintained the equipment since day one which I am sure has provided long life of the units. First...this whole process started with them coming out to our house and talking with us about our options. The sales person was very knowledgeable and there was no pressure at all. He made very practical and budget friendly recommendations. Rob H, Chad and Anthony arrived at our home EARLY and were professional and polite. They did a great job of installing all the equipment as we requested which included mounting the AC unit in a new location on the foundation wall. The only issue was the NEST controller we had did not work with the system for some reason and they put in a nice digital thermostat for free to allow us time to work with KCPL and have them come out and reprogram the NEST. They also took great care to protect the carpets, hardwood and furniture by putting down runners and wearing boot covers the entire time. We just had new carpet and floors put in so this was very welcome! The job was finished in exactly the amount of time quoted. Chad Meyer and his co-worker Jarrod arrived at my house at the projected arrival. Chad greeted me, and reviewed the Mission installation procedure with me for installing the Lennox air conditioning/heating unit. The team went directly to work since they had to take out the old furnace and air conditioning system before they could install the new Lennox system. I was impressed at the steady teamwork. It was hard work, and I was surprised they were so quiet in dealing with everything. The entire job was accomplished after several hours of close attention to detail! I have never had two people work so closely as a team and accomplish everything in Such a professional manner. No loud radios, no dancing up and down the stairs, no long telephone calls, no profanity and loud exclamations of frustration. These two men were professionals!!when they were finished, my house was clean, my Lennox air conditioner and furnace were amazingly working, and the condenser outside was installed, balanced and quietly working. Chad explained the thermostat, and assured himself that I understood how it worked. I was so pleased and felt secure when the day progressed with no problems. I came home from a trip to learn that my furnace was dead after 31 years. A year earlier my central air also went dead. I then researched many companies and selected MPH&C to provide me with these two needed replacements. I could not be any more satisfied. The representatives that came to my house and installed both items quickly exhausted any list of superlatives. Craig was the first who devoted over 1.5 hours with me explaining the options I had to choose from and the pro and cons of each choice. The next day Chad arrived who answered every question I had and provided knowledge that I did not have as he supervised Bryan S. and Josh in completing the installation. All four representatives appeared to have a sense of PRIDE in their work. There is nothing that I could recommend to improve the experience from the paperwork, installation, explanations and clean up. I was surprised when I viewed the laying of drop cloths down on my floors and steps prior to doing any work and later understood how this prevented any needed clean up job and how it prevented all areas from being damaged. If I had employment opportunities within my organization, I would gladly hire any of these four representatives from MPH&C. I hope they get noticed by the J.D.Power organization as the best in this line of business. True professionals, well trained and customer service minded. (See More)

The entire experience with Mission was great. It was less than a week from the time I called to get a quote and when the entire HVAC and water heater were installed. We have a 100 year old carriage house which can be a challenge. Chad came out before the install to check the job which was a very good idea. Rob and Chad then showed up by 8 and worked until around 6 to get all the work done. They cleaned up and made sure I knew where all the shut of valves and switches are. Chad also made sure I knew how to work the new thermostat and offered to set up the programming. Great service and great price (See More)

My furnace was not maintaining the set temperature on my thermostat and we also had our carbon monoxide detector go off. I called Mission and they immediately sent a technician over to my house; same day. Brandon arrived and serviced my furnace and confirm that my furnace was indeed leaking CO emissions. Without hesitation Brandon started working to see how quickly they could get anew HVAC system installed in my house on Thursday and Friday, we had a new furnace. Needless to say we received outstanding service from Chad and Brandon. They were extremely professional and considerate. Absolutely outstanding! (See More)

Eric, Bob, Chad & Matt did a great job when our A/C unit stopped working on Friday, Aug. 11th. We called and Eric was here in 2 hours. We decided not to repair the old unit. Eric worked very hard in getting 2 floor model room units. Bob delivered the units from there office and Eric and Bob worked until 5:30 pm to make sure we were going to be able to stay cool through the weekend. Eric also worked with Gene to make sure we had someone scheduled to install our new Furnace and A/C unit on Monday Morning. Chad & Matt was here before 8:00 am and worked all day Monday getting our new A/C, Furnace and Water Heater installed. They made sure everything was up and running before they left. Chad and Eric J. installed a brand new HVAC system(furnace, AC, and outside unit) into my house they did it quick and effectively making sure to triple check all the work they did and even rerouted things that were not in the quiet but almost way to make a better fit. The best part is they were not rushing to get it done and on to the next job and making sure it was absolutely done correctly and still got it done in a timely manner without messing around. My A/C needed to be replaced and Mission is who I called because Josh installed a new hot water tank for me in April, and he explained everything upfront to me and I was very impressed with him and his service. I forgot the other guy's name that came out after I called about the A/C and he explained everything and gave me a card to call and talk to someone about a new system. He was very sympathetic about leaving me in the hot house because he was unable to fix the a/c. Pat M**** came out and explained everything and I purchased a new A/C, furnace, coils, and thermostat. He called the office and they bought a new portable air conditioner for me to keep cool until they were able to install the system. Pat went to Home Depot and picked up the new portable a/c and hooked it up for me. On Tuesday 7/18/17 Eric J. and Chad came and installed the new system from 8:00 am. to 2:30. Eric, Chad and Pat were very courteous, friendly, caring, and Chad explained and showed me the new furnace, compressor and how to operate the new thermostat. Chad gave me the invoice and went over it with me, he gave me a card about the survey with his name and Eric's on it, a pen advertising the company, another refrigerator magnet, and a cold bottle of water. Pat stopped by also and checked on me and the guys and he gave me a refrigerator magnet and asked if I had any questions and when they will be finish. They did an excellent job from start to finish and I will highly recommend this company to anyone. They left the sign in my yard stating another satisfied customer and the company name. I started looking for HVAC contractors by researching what size of system that was to be replaced. I then solicited recommendations from friends, family, and neighbors. I went to the offices of the recommended contractors to review with the staff what I had and what I was looking for. Mission Plumbing Heating & Cooling and another company came across with bits of information during this interview process that convinced me that these were the two companies to look at further and disregard the others. Then came the pricing quotations. Mission Plumbing Heating & Cooling came in as the most installed price competitive so naturally they were the ones I chose expecting a typical install for the price they quoted. When the during and after the installation I was more than impressed. They were on time. They were extremely professional. They were neat. Best of all, the final work was picture perfect! They routed all of the service lines and pipes so neat and secured that I had to look at the invoice twice to make sure they didn't bump up the price. I cannot speak highly enough about this company, the teamwork, the quality, and the honesty. Mission Plumbing Heating & Cooling will now be my go to place for the service they provide! They came after hours on a Saturday within 45 min. for not an outrageous fee, identified the problem quickly determining we needed a new heater, put us on the calendar and arrived promptly for the scheduled install. Chad, Bo, and Gary were top notch putting in our entire new system. They came prepared, took great care to not make a mess (including the shoe covers) and cleaned up extremely well on the way out. They took the time to make sure I understood the system and the iComfort thermostat and made me feel that I made the absolute right decision for this investment. The workmanship down there in our tight quarters in the mechanical room is unparalleled. From the floor to the joists above the new furnace looks like a shiny new-little- car in there. I was so impressed, satisfied, and pleased with MPH&C, I received at least 5 estimates, but Eddie came out and I was very pleased with what he had to offer. I needed a furnace, AC, hot water tank and duct work. The price I received from Eddie was lower then the other companies and I also received a higher efficiency unit to boot. The first company I received an estimate from called while Eddie was there and he tried to pursuade me not to use MPH& C, but in the end he stated OH that's a very good deal, we can't beat that. When Steven and Chad arrived two days later for my installation they were very professional, friendly and courteous. They worked really hard all day and answered all of my questions, and believe me I had a lot of questions. Eddie even came out again on the day of the installation to make sure I was pleased with the work the crew was performing. After Steven and Chad completed the job, they tested the units to make sure everything was in proper working order. They showed me how to operate everything. I would refer this company and crew to anyone. If you need heating, plumbing or cooling I recommed you use Mission Plumbing, Heating & Cooling!!!! (See More)

Eddie came to my house for quote request. He has experience in my house needs and gave me options that made good sense and how rebates will work for me from my utility companies and a fed tax rebate. This helped a lot. My old unit works but the deal was to good to wait any longer. We locked in a low price for all AC and furnace, with top tier TRANE equipment. Chad and Josh did install Friday like they were a team for some time, worked with little mess, and cleaned up completely when they were done. House temp dropped to 67, hardly any concern with outside 40 degrees. We have 70deg comfort for all winter now with confidence in the proper operation for years to come. (See More)

They explained everything they were going to do up front and when they were done they went over everything I should know about the system. From the first moment in my home I was impressed that he covered his shoes, called ahead to verify appt. time. Eddie was very professional, he gave us bids on three different units and a short preview of what we would be receiving with each. We were so satisfied with the three men who came to install, it was obvious they had worked together alot. Steven got the job of going into the attic, while Chad worked inside. I was very confident with this company that I left for a Dr.'s appointment . I returned home several hours later and they were finishing up. He took the time to show me how our humidifier functions and informed me how to troubleshoot if our humidifier was providing too much condensation in our home. Received 3 bids, all 3 were competitive. I chose Mission PHC based on the knowledge and professionalism of the the salesman (Eddie). I was impressed in the way he thoroughly explained the installation process and he went over available options including rebates, tax credits and money available from KCPL and MGE - saved me $550. The service provided was so prompt and courteous. The estimate was fair and exactly what I wanted and needed. They got us an appointment immediately for service (next day in a heat wave) and after 8 hrs we had a complete HVAC system installed and working. They were very fast to respond and always on time. My salesman Eddie was very patient with my questions, gave me multiple options, and was in no way pushy. He was interested in my best interests. Almost three (3) years ago during the winter months my furnace stopped working. Which is probably the worst time to try and find someone to fix the problem without getting overcharged, misdiagnosing the problem, or basically not getting the furnace working properly. Went to the internet, and after reading a lot of reviews contacted a few companies but decided on Mission PHC. Have not been disappointed in their level of service, their response to plumbing, AC, and furnace issues and will continue utilize Mission PHC as my HVAC resource. Chad was assigned to install a Whole House Humidifier recently. Knowledgeable, thoughtful, and took extra care to place runners and explain each step in the install. I was told it would be a week before a new hvac system could be installed. mine was out and I could not wait so they suggested sending a service tech out to see if he could fix it . Eddie Cone a salesman came and presented the new system and then was able to find a burnt wire and fixed it . My 21 year old system lasted to the following week when Chad and Ryan were able to install our new Trane units. Both these boys new what they doing and did an outstanding install. Mission PH&C came out to check my A/C that was not cooling. After finding my 10 year old Trane A/C unit was empty on Freon, I made the decision to replace it with a new Trane A/C unit and A coil. My techs were Chad and Zach. They called me before arriving at my house. The old A/C unit was removed and the new A/C unit was installed promptly with no problems. We ended up buying an A/C and Furnace. My first contact in this issue was Eddie, came to the house we talked about our needs and what MPH&C could do for us. Eddie answered all my questions and provided multiple proposals, no pressures. My wife and I discussed our options from MPH&C and others. We decided to go with MPH&C and Eddie's proposal as well as past experiences we had with MPH&C, they had previously installed a hot water tank for us, good job Chris. The day of the scheduled install I received my advance call telling me they were on their way. Right on time they started to arrive, four trucks. What team work. New equipment unloaded, old equipment was disconnected loaded up and removed. New was installed, Bryan took care of the A/C and Chad took care of the furnace. That team worked together great assisting each other where necessary. They were very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. They cleaned up as they went and when they were done. They answered all my questions and went through the operation of the new equipment after installation and testing. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the CSR I talked when I called the office initially, they too were polite and customer focused. Over all we could not have been more satisfied. Bryan made the inspection and suggested replacement of the Trane A/C was the prudent option versus installing the fourth compressor on this 2012 system installed by Climate Control. Chad assisted by Ryan installed a Lenox A/C which included liquid-suction lines, furnace coil, and compresor-condenser. The furnace humidifier was relocated to the return air duct rather than placement on air discharge. The project was not easy and took a bit longer than planned but there were no complaints or extra costs. They both did a professional install job and Bryan's return for a final check to assure the project delivered as promised was great. Now I must do battle with Trane for compensation on an A/C system that went through 3-compressors in 3-years. Mission was asked to save the most recent failed compressor if needed in my argument. I had a new air conditioner and high efficiency furnace installed in Feb 2015. The installers were very professional. They arrived on time and completed the system installation in a timely manner. The placement of the new high efficiency PVC pipes was done in the specific manner I requested. The carpets were protected and disruptions to my household was minimal. The installation, operation, and basic maintenance was explained upon completion. Overall, I was very pleased with the installation. As far as the proposal, I was less than pleased to find out the SEER rating of the installed system was not as efficient as was listed on the proposal. Upon receiving the model numbers of installed components, I went to verify the efficiency rating on the AHRI directory at: ahridirectory.org/ahridi…. The seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) reported by AHRI was 1.75 less than what was listed on the proposal. I did follow-up with Mission and did not receive a satisfactory explanation as to why the AC efficiency ratio did not match my proposal. Regardless the reason, the proposal needs to match what is installed. As far as performance of the system installed, the heat is working very well so far. The upgraded features we selected seem to be working as advertised. The temperature is much more even in each of the rooms. We are able to keep the thermostat 1 to 2 degrees cooler, and it still feels warmer. Between that and the efficiency, I expect to see some decent utility savings. The system is significantly quieter than my old system. I hope the AC will perform as well when the summer gets here. Prices were in line with proposals from other local companies for comparable systems. I'm not sure I would recommend this company based on my overall experience, but the installers were excellent. The guys at Mission Plumbing Heating and Cooling saved me a huge amount of money, and it was because of their honesty and expertise. I should mention, this was my first time using them. So what happened? Here's the run-down: I called in AB May to inspect my furnace that had stopped blowing. The guy came out, ripped out my blower motor, took one look and said he would have to replace the entire thing. Quoted me $1,700 dollars. I told him I would not accept that service. He told me if only I had agreed to their monthly plan, it would have only cost $60. Wow. I called Mission and the owner Jean and Chad immediately asked if the part was under warranty. Of course I had no idea, so they looked it up for me over the phone. Sure enough it was, something AB May never considered to ask. Why not? Because AB May techs are comped based on total bill. Not hourly. Jean and Chad ordered me the part and were out the next day, got my furnace running tip top shape, and the small cost of part under warranty and service call is all I had to pay. Bottom line: These guys are fast, professional, and I trust them. They are paid hourly and not compensated on how high they can get your final bill, unlike competitors. (See More)

The crew at Mission Heating & Cooling saved my Christmas! My furnace quit working during the night, so at 8:30 AM Dec. 24th, (Christmas Eve) I was on the phone requesting a service call. I was worried with the Holiday, I may have to wait until Friday, for a service tech. To my surprise, Bryan W was able to get to my house at 10:00 AM to inspect the furnace. The news was not good, as I needed a new furnace. I became nervous and worried my family's Christmas plans would be ruined. With the expense of Christmas and a couple of other unforeseen expenses, I did not have the cash available for the cost of the new furnace. Bryan suggested I contact Mary in the office to check into their 12 month interest free financing. Within 10 minutes, I secured financing and Bryan was working on installing my new furnace. With the help of Chad & Ryan, the furnace installation was done by 2:00 PM and none of my Holiday plans were interrupted. What a great example of team work, and super customer service! (See More)
