When I originally built my home 30 years ago Mission did it, been 30 years I had another company put in a new furnace 5 years ago I wasn't satisfied , Thn II was getting quotes for a New A/C and some other things I needed repairs , Missions prices were the best again after 30years . We've been using Mission since we bought our house in 2008. They have always done a good job maintaining our HVAC system. Our service rep Mike did a thorough job diagnosing our recent AC issue and providing viable solutions. I appreciated his knowledge. Tom, Rob and Joe were the installers who came and installed our new system. They definitely know what they are doing, explaining alot of things to me as I watched them. All three guys did an excellent job of explaining what they were going to do and then doing it. They were very thorough and quick. The install we were told could take up to 8 hours took them about 5. After a series of expensive repairs over the past few years, we decided it was time to replace our old Trane furnace. We received bids from two local firms and picked Mission as the bid was more comprehensive at a slightly lower price. Chad came on Monday afternoon to bid the job and the crew arrived early Wednesday morning to complete the installation. They had my AC installed within the allotted time frame they had set for themselves they placed down tarps so as not to get my floors dirty and they also wore protective shoe covers. Robert and Kyle installed a new furnace and air conditioner yesterday, June 20, 2018. They were both very friendly, knowledgeable and and, professional. They cleaned up and swept after finishing the job thoroughly. Answered all my questioned, explained how the thermostat worked and a few other tips. the cost was very reasonable and they did not try to sell me any extras, as many times happens when work is done,( hidden fees). We replaced our furnace, AC, filter unit and humidifier with Trane and Aprilaire products and used Mission Plumbing Heating and Cooling. I do want to mention that MPH&C installed the units original to the house over 22 years earlier. They have maintained the equipment since day one which I am sure has provided long life of the units. First...this whole process started with them coming out to our house and talking with us about our options. The sales person was very knowledgeable and there was no pressure at all. He made very practical and budget friendly recommendations. Rob H, Chad and Anthony arrived at our home EARLY and were professional and polite. They did a great job of installing all the equipment as we requested which included mounting the AC unit in a new location on the foundation wall. The only issue was the NEST controller we had did not work with the system for some reason and they put in a nice digital thermostat for free to allow us time to work with KCPL and have them come out and reprogram the NEST. They also took great care to protect the carpets, hardwood and furniture by putting down runners and wearing boot covers the entire time. We just had new carpet and floors put in so this was very welcome! The job was finished in exactly the amount of time quoted. The entire experience with Mission was great. It was less than a week from the time I called to get a quote and when the entire HVAC and water heater were installed. We have a 100 year old carriage house which can be a challenge. Chad came out before the install to check the job which was a very good idea. Rob and Chad then showed up by 8 and worked until around 6 to get all the work done. They cleaned up and made sure I knew where all the shut of valves and switches are.
