Just purchased a new HVAC system and water heater. The pricing was very competitive and the installation team was great. The guys were very respectful, worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. We have had a service contract with Mission for several years now. They have always responded quickly to any service request and take time to make sure we are satisfied with any work. Great company. Yes, I paid a bit more for my 2-head Mitsubishi mini-split, but I did so after several interactions with other companies and I decided to go with Mission Plumbing, Heating & Cooling because of an intangible - I considered them more professional which means I had greater faith in their abilities. I'd already done considerable research about the brand, etc., so it was about who would do the installation well. I was not disappointed in that respect. Bryan S., Steven H. and Steve handling the outside work were efficient and knowledgable about working with a 1928 house with all of its idiosyncracies, some of which required a "Plan B" approach to accomodate unforseen hiccups as they popped up. Since my installation was just yesterday, I can't comment on the long haul performance of the product or how well the installation will hold up. (While in no way Mission PHC's "fault", I would have preferred financing through a company other than Wells Fargo for reasons I won't go into here, but that was unavoidable and, of course, all of these corporate actors are from similar mindsets and methods.) I want to thank Mission and a special thanks to the install technicians Bryan & Raef. They were very professional and courteous, prompt and left the place neat and clean. I requested the new line set be rerouted to accommodate future remodeling projects, Bryan made it better than I thought possible. Raef installed the compressor outside, it was leveled and square with the house, looks great! They went over operation of new T Stat, humidifier, and filter replacement. Our sales rep Chad was very knowledgeable, answered all follow up calls, and was able to get us a portable a/c unit until install day! Thanks Again (See More)

Mission PHC installed furnace and A/C in 8 hours in a remarkably small space on the first really hot day this summer. I was very pleased with their work and the price. Ended up with a Trane unit because of the sale offered, but reviews spoke well so felt good about the deal. Installation went well for us, less well for the installers. Due to the small space and the prior installation, they could not reuse some components they had anticipated using, but did not charge us more than agreed upon. Unit was up and running as expected. Very happy with Bryan and Raef--they were courteous, professional, could not ask for more. (See More)

We had very good experience with Bryan and Steve's installation of new AC/Furnace and Zoning of our 2 Story House. The outdoor unit looks great! Mounted on a gravel based /fiberglass platform. The indoor unit (furnace/AC/humidifier) all looks good, you can tell they put effort into doing a good job. The Zoned 2nd floor - with the wireless thermostat and power vents have made a difference in our upstairs beadrooms, no longer do we have a 6 or 7 degree difference (caused by the heat rising from the 1st floor. The entire Mission Heating & Air team is terrific. Kyle G. our service tech is very professional and answers questions throughly. He is always friendly and explains each step of the way. Rob H. our installer along with Ryan, his assistant, did a wonderful job of installing our new A/C. They worked clean, quickly and quietly. The Mission team did a great job selling and installing my new AC/Furnace. From point of Sale to Complete Installation, they were knowledgeable and hard working. I called Mission last Thursday because a different company had just told me I needed a whole new HVAC system. They scheduled me for the very next day. Pat came out to quote me, and he was very knowledgeable about the systems and thorough when it came to what would work best for my house. He measured the entire house, and pointed out how I would need a new chimney liner once the furnace was replaced, which the other HVAC company said nothing about. Pat gave me several options and walked me through every one of them. Mission had more options for financing than the other company as well, so ultimately, all of these things combined made my decision to go with Mission pretty easy. I called Pat on Monday and the installation began Thursday. The installation crew was very hardworking. They hit a couple of snags while doing the install (because of my old house), but they took care of it all and worked late to make sure the job was done and working. I really appreciated the extra time and effort they put in to making sure the job got done and got done right. I am excited to see how my new AC works this summer! Although I am having problems with the one installed in my Sunroom I believe it is the unit that has an issue and has nothing to do with the installers. Bryan and Rob installed a full heating/cooling system in our home on June 27, 2018. They were very professional and did a great job on educating us on how to use the system. I had a request about how the drain line was routed and they accommodated and improved upon my request very easily with no complaining or grumbling. It was a small thing but appreciated. My 19-year-old HVAC system was due for replacement (has been due for replacement, to be honest) and I spoke with Pat Marsh last week and he put together a system for me. Yesterday, Bo M. and Bryan S. came out and installed a new AC and furnace. The process was smooth and the work was done so completely. I was especially pleased with the work they did outside on the AC, with a new electrical box and connections and building a secure base. Awesome! In the interests of full disclosure (important these days), I selected Mission several years ago as my company because a family member worked there--but I have never been disappointed with the service I've gotten, whether routine or emergency, and this was a truly good experience. And this morning, it's really nice to have a good furnace, since the northwest wind whipped up again in the night... (See More)

I came home from a trip to learn that my furnace was dead after 31 years. A year earlier my central air also went dead. I then researched many companies and selected MPH&C to provide me with these two needed replacements. I could not be any more satisfied. The representatives that came to my house and installed both items quickly exhausted any list of superlatives. Craig was the first who devoted over 1.5 hours with me explaining the options I had to choose from and the pro and cons of each choice. The next day Chad arrived who answered every question I had and provided knowledge that I did not have as he supervised Bryan S. and Josh in completing the installation. All four representatives appeared to have a sense of PRIDE in their work. There is nothing that I could recommend to improve the experience from the paperwork, installation, explanations and clean up. I was surprised when I viewed the laying of drop cloths down on my floors and steps prior to doing any work and later understood how this prevented any needed clean up job and how it prevented all areas from being damaged. If I had employment opportunities within my organization, I would gladly hire any of these four representatives from MPH&C. I hope they get noticed by the J.D.Power organization as the best in this line of business. True professionals, well trained and customer service minded. (See More)

My experience started with the sale person at Mission Plumbing, heating & Cooling; Pat Marsh who was excellent and did not push me to make a decision etc. Next was the two installers; Bryan S and Chad M who came to my home and did everything possible to meet my quality standards and of coarse their own standards. Bryan & Cody were the very best! I live in a 100 year old house and have always had problem with 2nd floor cooling. They suggested increasing my inflow with a little ductwork not the size of unit(my request) and I have to say my system can freeze me out now, never could below 72 before. Prompt, friendly, and excellent knowledge to overcome any challenges my house presented. Best of all, I got bids from service experts, anthony, and two others and Mission P,H,&C was over $2500 less than any other for same lennox, only anthony suggested ductwork for $5000. more than Mission. These guys are fair and don't overcharge for their excellent professional work. I don"t write reviews but these guys were so good, I felt I could help others by telling of my experience. (See More)

We discovered our way old AC wasn't working once a heat wave hit last week. I called Monday afternoon for a free inspection. After a quick inspection of the HVAC system, Craig (inspector) discovered that our current HVAC system was way too big for our house and was costing us big time in utilities. The next day a whole team showed up and got to work. We were able to get the whole thing financed quickly and easily. There is already a noticable difference from our old system. Bryan S. and Bo did an amazing job on the install and were very fast! They clearly explained everything that was done and the benefits from the service. Mission Plumbing Heating & Cooling recently replaced my aging air conditioner and gas furnace with Lennox equipment as I have always been happy with that brand. Eddie Cone, Comfort Specialist, is very knowledgeable and talked through several options with me to ensure that the new equipment would be appropriately sized for my needs and compatible with the existing ventilation system. Bryan S. and Bo M. arrived exactly on time to remove the old and install the new equipment. They were very polite and neat, put down runners and wore shoe covers to keep their work area clean. Both these gentlemen have many years of experience with Mission and were extremely efficient and professional in their work. The entire job was complete by 3:00 PM, all the old equipment gone and the work area clean. They provided instructions for the operation and care of filters, humidifier and thermostat. Eddie had already filed the KCP&L rebate forms and equipment registration so there was really nothing for me to do but sit back and enjoy the newly enhanced climate comfort of my home! I feel the price charged was very fair for the quality work performed and the level of expertise and professionalism extended by Eddie, Bryan and Bo at Mission Plumbing Heating & Cooling. I am very pleased overall with my experience and happy to recommend Mission the gentlemen who handled this important job for me. (See More)

Worked with two other HVAC companies to install another zone (automatic dampers, additional thermostat). Both wanted to special order a ducting adapter for the furnace. After wasting a month with the first company and six weeks with the second (I had to keep calling them - it's like they didn't want my money), I tried Mission PHC. They came out the next day for the estimate, got the full, detailed estimate to me that afternoon and were able to come out the next day to do the work. No need to special order the adapter - they made it themselves. Great work. Great craftsmanship. Great communication. Great price. Honest. Fair. Highly recommended. (See More)

Eddie came to our house to discuss my request for a furnace install. He was very professional and promised it would be taken care within a matter of days.This was not an emergency but it was completely installed two days later. Great Company... Eddie gave us the quote and was very polite and explained in a easy to understand language. Answered all of my questions and concerns. Most important to me was not pushy, I felt very comfortable with him. After deciding to go with Mission Ed said they would be out the next morning @ 8am. Bo showed up @ 7:55 am ready to get to work. Our AC went out and we decided to replace both the aging 80% efficiency Carrier furnace as well as the AC. We chose Dave Lennox Signature Series, specifically the SLP98V 90k btu furnace and the SL18XC1 17 SEER 3 Ton AC. We also purchased the Media Filter and the humidifier and the Icomfort wifi thermostat. It has only been installed and running now for 2 hours but we are very happy with the quality of the sales presentation, the professionalism of the office staff and most importantly the top notch installaton by Bryan and Steven. Bryan has been in this business for 40 years and has been working for Mission for that long. The units are picture perfect physically and we are receiving better air flow and cooling in areas which previously lacked service such as the master. We have an older unit that was still working but it wasn't very energy efficient. We decided to call mission to get a new AC and furnace installed. I noticed condensation forming all over my vents in my basement while the installers were there and they both assured me that water dripping from the vents was normal????? It worked great for about an hour until I returned home from work to find that it wasn't working. I called and the front desk and the lady was really nice and sent someone out to fix it. When the guy arrived he saw the condensation dripping from my vents downstairs. "Which I saw too after the guys installed and and they both told me it was normal" which it is not. the repair guy messed with it and said a wire came loose and the whole unit froze up. He said to run the fan for 3 hours to de thaw it and everything "should" be fine. This was concerning to me being how I noticed the condensation before the installers left. I'm not confident that this issue is fixed and I made a good decision. I sure hope a frozen furnace doesn't affect the life of my unit. I'm sure mission is a great company and I know things happen but now I'm sitting in a 85 degree house and it's only going to get worse until this 7000 dollar unit dethaws. (See More)

On 5/24/16, Craig (Sales) came to my home, and collected the information he needed to create a quote for replacement of my furnace, A/C and water heater. The quote was most competitive compared to information I had collected from other providers in the area. On 5/26/16, Tom and Brian arrived at the designated time to perform the installation. I can't say enough about the professionalism, skills and personality of these two. Casey and Bob also provided support on the job and they too are to be commended. Despite the rain that fell most of the day and the normal disturbance associated with the removal of the old equipment, my house was not negatively affected in any way. Everyone conducted themselves with the highest level of concern and actions for ensuring they always wore shoe covers and placed tarps on floors and stairs where they were required to walk. We ended up buying an A/C and Furnace. My first contact in this issue was Eddie, came to the house we talked about our needs and what MPH&C could do for us. Eddie answered all my questions and provided multiple proposals, no pressures. My wife and I discussed our options from MPH&C and others. We decided to go with MPH&C and Eddie's proposal as well as past experiences we had with MPH&C, they had previously installed a hot water tank for us, good job Chris. The day of the scheduled install I received my advance call telling me they were on their way. Right on time they started to arrive, four trucks. What team work. New equipment unloaded, old equipment was disconnected loaded up and removed. New was installed, Bryan took care of the A/C and Chad took care of the furnace. That team worked together great assisting each other where necessary. They were very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. They cleaned up as they went and when they were done. They answered all my questions and went through the operation of the new equipment after installation and testing. I had a new air conditioner and high efficiency furnace installed in Feb 2015. The installers were very professional. They arrived on time and completed the system installation in a timely manner. The placement of the new high efficiency PVC pipes was done in the specific manner I requested. The carpets were protected and disruptions to my household was minimal. The installation, operation, and basic maintenance was explained upon completion. Overall, I was very pleased with the installation. As far as the proposal, I was less than pleased to find out the SEER rating of the installed system was not as efficient as was listed on the proposal. Upon receiving the model numbers of installed components, I went to verify the efficiency rating on the AHRI directory at: ahridirectory.org/ahridi…. The seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) reported by AHRI was 1.75 less than what was listed on the proposal. I did follow-up with Mission and did not receive a satisfactory explanation as to why the AC efficiency ratio did not match my proposal. Regardless the reason, the proposal needs to match what is installed. As far as performance of the system installed, the heat is working very well so far. The upgraded features we selected seem to be working as advertised. The temperature is much more even in each of the rooms. We are able to keep the thermostat 1 to 2 degrees cooler, and it still feels warmer. Between that and the efficiency, I expect to see some decent utility savings. The system is significantly quieter than my old system. I hope the AC will perform as well when the summer gets here. Prices were in line with proposals from other local companies for comparable systems. I'm not sure I would recommend this company based on my overall experience, but the installers were excellent. I had several estimates and recommendations from reputable KC companies for all sorts of HVAC solutions to my attic. Steve, with ease and confidence recommended the minisplit (which was my original idea for a solution). I was also very satisfied with my installation done by Bryan S. and a new employee not listed, Chad M. The uniforms, use of booties & tarps just added to their professionalism. They were at my house from 9-5 with a positive attitude the entire time and explaining everything they were doing to me when I inquired. (See More)

Outstanding service. I needed a new AC and Bryan S. and Gary D. came out to my house (on time as promised), installed the new unit and some how managed to keep all the rain and muck from coming inside the house and into the basement. Bryan S and Gary D did a great job installing my new Lennox Elite XC14 AC. Extremely kind and knowledgeable, so proficient in what they did, it looked like they could install the unit in their sleep. The took the time to address all my questions and my concerns. The idea that both Bryan and Gary as a team have been working for Mission PHC for over 60 years is amazing. Excellent work by the the Mission team. We had them do a complete system New Trane furnace and ac new Bradford White water heater. Everyone had a part of the job and were spot on task. Mission PHC was very quick to respond to my initial problem, gave me a couple of options. I chose to have them come back at another time to give me some options. They were right on time for the appointment and spent the time to get me the options I needed. When I made a choice we scheduled a replacement. He was very well prepared and skilled on the products being installed. Bryan S. installed our Trane XL18i heat pump all electric system yesterday. He did a great job and after speaking with him he has 38 years experience. He said he has never worked for another company. December 2, 2013, my wife and I purchased a new Lennox furnace and air conditioner since our previous system was 30 years old. We were very impressed with Bryan S. who installed the A/C and Tommy who installed the furnace. A third person, Bobby, delivered the two units and helped level the pad for the A/C and hauled all of our debris off-site. Not only were Bryan S. and Tommy very knowledgeable in their respective field of HVAC installation, but they were friendly and courteous at all times. Bryan S. has been performing HVAC work for 37 years, and it was quite evident. Keep up the great work gentlemen! I also wish to give a shout-out to Steve F. for his patience in walking me through a multitude of Lennox furnace and A/C options and quotes. I feel the Rommes gained a really high quality and energy-efficient system at a very competitive price. Thank you!!
