We've had several good experiences with MSP Plumbing Heating Air. Our most recent was with Mike Anderson, who was professional, friendly, personable, and courteous. He made some friendly conversation, explained not just the work that should be done, but tips to continue to care for the system well. The dispatch and receptionist we spoke to while scheduling and arranging the appointment gave off a positive attitude as well.
Update: Our most recent was a burst pipe, fixed by Nick G. He was also pleasant and courteous, efficient and informative.
Update: We've also had a plumbing repair from Jeremy P. Friendly, took care of a minor drain issue at no extra charge. (See More)

Very good company. I see whey they have been in business for so long. Jeremy P. was our Service Expert. What a great, friendly man. He came earlier than expected (and yes he did call that he was on his way as I was told by the office the day before and on the morning of the appointment that he would- this was greatly appreciated as I had the day off and was able to enjoy time with my daughter who was also not working this day) He explained everything he did and also told me about my salt water appliance setting was not at the right setting and corrected that. He also explained my water number was 48 (not great-quite high) He found out it was not my plumbing that was leaking (yeah !) but that the problem was coming from my dishwasher and that more than likely that appliance would need to be replaced (boo ! ) Jeremy did a great job and went above and beyond what needed to be done and for that I appreciate all his help. He is a great asset to the company. I also want to thank Megan for her help. We had a coupon we wanted to use if any repairs needed to be done. Unfortunately my husband forgot to leave the coupon at home. I called and spoke with her on the phone and she stated no problem that he would add it to the work order and let Jeremy know. In the process of selling our house, we had a few plumbing issues that were noted on the buyer's inspector's report. I sent out a dozen emails to various plumbing companies around the Twin Cities, and the quickest and friendliest follow up came from Minneapolis St. Paul Plumbing, Heating, and Air. As good as the customer service was, the service provided by Jeremy, the technician who helped me, was even better. He was polite, friendly, considerate, and did a great job of not only taking care of our problems, but also explaining them thoroughly. I hope I don't have any plumbing issues any time in our near future, but if we do, this will be the only company I call. (See More)

Woke up to find that we had a water heater leaking all over. Sent in an email to the Company requesting someone contact me. Got a call almost immediately after sending in request. Jeremy P. showed up in the window of time they gave me. He was very courteous and respectful of my house (wearing boot covers upon entering). He took time to explain what had happened and offered several different options. Work was done in a few hours and he left the area very clean. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. Jeremy Peterson came out today since I had a water leak in the basement and he quickly located the source of the leak as the dishwasher. He gave me more information about how my reverse osmosis system that was connected to my refrigerator was running through copper pipe which as he explained could be detrimental to my health. I got the system to eliminate sources of contamination and Water Doctors actually was giving more contamination in my water source. I was livid. I am so grateful to Jeremy and his student for pointing out the dangers of drinking this water.

I live in South Minneapolis, and had Jeremy Petersen come out to take a look at a toilet that was leaking. Jeremy was very professional, took a look at the possible problems, and explained all my options and prices.
I decided to install a new toilet over the existing repair of the older one. Jeremy had everything he needed in his truck, including the type of toilet I was looking for. Less than two hours later, he had it installed, and had carted the old one away.
He did a great job, and was very friendly. Excellent work! I'll be calling you guys next time for sure.

****** ******** came out today (Christmas Eve) and provided excellent service! He provided all of the viable options - for 4 different plumbing problems we had. He was honest and didn't try to push us to any one option. Of the six options he presented, we went with the second "top" choice. He was able to complete two of the four projects today, and will complete the other two after Christmas. I was very impressed with him; he was professional, courteous, and left the bathroom cleaner than when he first started the job. The staff was great also; when my husband talked to them, they responded quickly and told him exactly what would happen - in terms of timing and the options that ****** would present. We can't say enough of the young man who came to our home or Minneapolis Saint Paul Plumbing and Heating! We will definitely use them again, and I hope we get ******! Thank you for such fine work. To begin with.....Jeremy arrived in a very timely manner, and presented himself in an exceptionally professional and competent manner. We have ( had) a 33 year old boiler that was in need of work, and Jeremy outlined ALL options with a cost breakdown, and allowed us to decide what we wanted to do with all the facts at hand, there was no attempt at over selling, and he was clear on the work needed vs. what would "be nice". I opted to have the boiler replaced, and Jeremy worked with speed and accuracy to ensure everything was organized and laid out on a time schedule that he worked around my schedule, and the price was excellent considering the large amount of work I requested. This service was critical to us as we are dealing with home care for an ill family member. Cleanliness and working plumbing are key to good care. We really appreciate the excellent service and always call this company for our plumbing needs.

I highly recommend this company because they took on a big job (50 leaks from burst pipes in the heating system and in the plumbing system) and were diligent and professional in completing it. The project took several days, and each day either Jeremy or Todd came when they said they would, worked nonstop the entire day, and took the initiative to show me new developments or to explain next steps. We had been experiencing intermittent issues with our heating system and our initial thought was that we had a malfunctioning thermostat. Changing the batteries seemed to do the trick for a few days but then we woke up on a Friday morning to a house that was 59 degrees and getting colder. It turned out that the issue was the boiler and it being a Friday and what with a having a dog and two young children to be mindful of, we called Mpls St. Paul Heating and Air Conditioning to come take a look. They said they’d be able to get someone to the house at 2pm and indeed, just before 2 pm, Jeremy P, showed up. He was courteous, took the time to listen to our problem, and was thorough with his diagnostic work. He was also up front about all potential charges and offered us a variety of solutions without pressuring us into any one of them. The repair we opted for required him to make a trip out to Hopkins for a part which he made and returned to complete his work. We were very happy with his service and would highly recommend him. Jeremy did a great job of explaining the plumbing options, pricing, and the pro's and con's of each solution. He took the time to discuss in detail and we determined the best course of action. Once that was done, he checked his stock of parts (fully stocked van). He had them all except for one, and made a quick run to get it. He returned in no time and started to work immediately. As each subjob was completed, he'd check with me about my satisfaction. Each and every time, things looked great, and he proceeded on to the next portion work without delay. All work was finished in the same day. I'd have to say this was one of the most pleasant experiences I've have in getting plumbing, or any other service work done. Jeremy P. replaced my old, leaky water heater with a new one within two hours of arriving at my house. His work was VERY clean and efficient. He gave me options so that I could make an informed decision about how to deal with the water heater (repair or replace). He had all the parts needed on his truck--the water heater itself, the new venting/valves, etc. And, he took the old water heater away. Lastly, he educated me about the service program that his company offers--saved over $300 on my water heater install by signing up. although these folks are very overpriced, they do good work. Jeremy P was the man that did our work, he has no real say in what they charge. But you must understand that you only get what you pay for. He not only fixed the leaks, he showed up with a bunch of Ratt lps, made us some killer omelets, shoveled our walk and apparently shops at that duluth place, cause there were absolutely no bare cracks. My experience started with courtesy from my first call with Lucia. She set up the appointment quickly and within 30 minutes Jeremy was at my front door. He was very knowledgeable and was able to make the repair within one hour. Given that a plumbing emergency is never fun, Jeremy was thorough and helpful. (See More)

Best for scheduling appointments - able to get an appointment for the next day when calling late afternoon.
