We hired MSP to replace our aging boiler that finally met its maker on the 23rd of December. I had Nick B. out for an estimate on replacement almost exactly a year prior. The cost was in the ballpark of what we were thinking, but we weren't yet ready to take the plunge at that time. There were a couple of times over the year that our boiler went out, and I texted Nick for service help. He was unbelievably helpful even though we weren't replacing the boiler at that moment.
When the time came a few weeks ago, he pulled it together amazingly quickly. We updated the estimate for the specific installation, and he had a team out here very quickly to take care of things. The quality of work is clear - all copper, pressed joints. We had a lot of re-piping to do and everything is square, and looks beautiful. The product sold to us is so much better than our old boiler, I can't believe we waited so long.
We did have a lingering little problem with the water heater (which is supported by the boiler). MSP was so responsive in getting this resolved. It was clear that they wanted to get the right solution to the issue, not just a quick fix or to tell me 'too bad'. Every person that was at my house was so respectful, polite and a true pleasure to interact with. After a couple trips back, they got it taken care of without a problem.
I can't speak if they were the cheapest - but with what I hope to have be a 25-30 year investment, I was seeking out the highest quality, not the cheapest installation. If you want a great, professional installation paired with a company of people that are wonderful to work with, I cannot recommend MSP highly enough. (See More)

Recently I had my entire mechanical system (furnace, air conditioner, water heater, humidifier and air filtration system) replaced by the guys at MSP Plumbing, Heating & Air. Their estimator Brian was polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He quickly prepared an estimate, walked me through the entire process and timing of the installation, then after I accepted it got the whole project scheduled. Clint and Joshua showed up on time first thing Monday morning and stayed until the job was completed and tested thoroughly. It was a long day for both of them but they worked steady and efficiently throughout the day and the resulting system works great. I'm very pleased with the work they did on my home and would highly recommend MSP Plumbing, Heating & Air to anyone needing similar work done on their residence or business. (See More)

The installation of a new boiler furnace went great. I am so relieved that I don't have to worry about that old furnace again. All of the old equipment was removed and the place was cleared for the shiny new one. It was a good cleanup. An easy to use thermostat was installed and the other zone thermostats were tested along with the heater. It has been keeping it warm and doing it quietly ever since. We have used Minneapolis Saint Paul Plumbing and Heating a number of times over the years and have never been disappointed with the service and the work performed. Recently, we needed to replace our original 1922 fuel oil furnace after the tank started leaking. The replacement went smoothly. Don L. and Thomas E. were extremely helpful in explaining our options and in explaining the process. Joshua B. and Clint S. installed the furnace and were courteous and mindful of the surroundings. Joshua Beecher, lead installer, and helper Clint Segerra, plus lead installer Josh Brewers and helper Nick Bonngard, were an AMAZING TEAM. This is a group of well-trained, really smart people who listen and explain and are fun to have on site. They are happy in their jobs which says a lot for the company. In three days these guys were able to install a Fujitsu cooling and heat system to supplement radiant heat in my 1901 Queen Anne Victorian. They were able to streamline and consolidate exterior runs without altering or injuring the house and its historic features. The system is quiet and I know I will be glad not to have noisy, inefficient air conditioners hanging out the windows! This system will help manage humidity levels and protect my mom's piano. This company has helped me learn about the systems in my home, have done minor repairs, and now a major installation. Consistently polite, skilled, good people! Thanks! Wanted to let you know, again, how happy we are with Minneapolis St. Paul Plumbing and Heating. Joshua B and Clint S installed our new furnance. Now these two guys are great examples of how any representative of a business should be! They sure new what they were doing-I can't believe how fast they got that new furnace going. They took the time to show us how the new (digital) thermostat works (I am not of this generation and all the options were a tad overwhelming). He even made sure it was connected to my wifi (which I could not have done). They were professional and left not a speck of dirt behind. Plus they are just nice guys. We just had Minneapolis Saint Paul Plumbing put in a furnace and hot water heater. They were all very friendly and very helpful with are the installations that they put in. Explaining everything when asked so we could understand what everything was for. Starting with Don L. and him explaining all the different options we could go with. Great salesman. And right down to Joshua B.who was the last here to finish. Joshua came out to the house promptly at the given time 8 am. It was our first snow day too ! He got started right away, Justen and some others followed throughout the day. All were hard workers and courteous. It was a long day . Joshua ended his day about 5pm.
