Mike, Teman, & Steve were awesome. They all know their stuff and are so patient and professional even in 110 degree weather. Both Ty and Rick were excellent every step of the way. Ty's energy audit of my home was thorough and educational. Rick and his group of install personnel were neat, efficient, and thoughtful. The people who answer the phone are personable and efficient. Most of all I just went through our first 112 degree days and have never been this comfortable in the 17 years I've owned my home. I got a quote for a new unit from magic ac on Tuesday and will be going with them for my new combination ac and furnace. If their installers are even as close to as good as the mechanics in the service department I already know it will be great. They have kept my 19 year old ac chugging along year after year and are always helpful without trying to sell me things I didn't ask for or want. I've been using them since the 1990s and never had a problem. The mechanics all seem to have a lot of experience which doesn't seem to be the case with a lot of other companies here. VERY DISHONEST COMPANY!!!
I was hired by this company and during the interview I was told I would be making a specific hourly wage plus commission for what I sold. During the first day of orientation I was asked to sign some papers and part of that was a wage agreement contract which was commission only (no hourly wage). I brought this up to my immediate supervisor and told him I would be quitting because I didn’t think it would be smart for me to start a working relationship with a company that lies to employees just to get them in the door. I was told I would be paid on payday for the one day of orientation which was a week out. Here I am three weeks later and numerous phone calls later which were constantly avoided with no check. Finally I got hold of the owner and while she gives some bs story on why they hadn’t sent my check out. HOW LOW! Don’t let that long list of awards fool you. They are crooked! As for any customers reading this, if you want a technician to come to your house and recommend all kinds of stuff you really don’t need then call Magic Touch. Really good. Bought my last one thru costco and was not impressed from the start. Magic was much better and did a really good job. It's hard to find great customer service from most businesses today especially from contractors (past experience). Not true from Magic Touch Mechanical. They were great throughout the entire buying process when we were trying to choose who to pick to buy a new air conditioner for our home. This crew really does the best installs I've ever seen and that says a lot considering I retired from a career in HVAC just a few years ago after 43 years in the business. I have a bad back and knees so can't do the work myself any longer but I know a lot about the equipment, ductwork and how it needs to be installed, and Magic Touch Mechanical does things the right way. I'm so happy to have found them. After a less than pleasant transaction with a very big company in the area, I tried Magic Touch. For the same work magic was almost half the price of the other company. When there was a problem with one of the new ac units I hired them to install, they made several attempts to repair it. They decided it was better to replace it because felt it could be a problem down the road. I wanted them to replace it anyways. I have complete confidence in this company now. Straight A++’s for magic touch mechanical. We considered five A+ companies from the better business bureau list of heating and air conditioning businesses, each responded promptly and each were professional. Our requirements were one of 3 top rated brands, 10 year warranty, with mid to high efficiency scores. Magic touch mechanical was the only one of the five that gave us a bid for each of the 3 brands we wanted to consider. They were also the only one of the five to thoroughly inspect the equipment in the attic as well as the air ducks and insulation in our walls and attic. We were also surprised to see they were the only one to complete a load J calculation which from all of our reading is a must for this type of bid to be accurate for a home. At first we thought the price they bid was higher then all except for one but after more review we noticed they were also including much more then the others. When we asked them how much it would be without the other things not included from the other businesses it was actually the lowest price of all of them. We decided to do the other things as well because as they explained, they were really necessary to complete the job properly. We are very happy with the service and the results. I advise everyone going through this for the first time to carefully compare what you are getting for your money because they really are all very different. For anyone in the market to replace their home air conditioner let me be the first to tell you that you need to pay attention to the details. I met with at least 5 air conditioning companies before finally choosing Magic Touch Mechanical and there is a lot more to consider than one may think --- even when comparing the same unit from different companies. Magic Touch pointed out things nobody else even looked at and they made sense of why these things were important. AFTER we signed the deal I showed the salesman the quotes from the other companies and he pointed out some other things they (Magic Touch) included that the others did not. Now that the job is completed I can verify I am very content with the job they did and how good it looks and more importantly FEELS. Super job Magic Touch! Far and away the most thorough consultation and pricing was great for what I got. They weren't the cheapest of the 4 Lennox dealers I got quotes from but all the little differences between what they were going to do vs. the others added up and I wanted it done right, not just cheap. The installation went well and they were very professional. Even the follow up on a few questions I had were prompt and sincere. I got estimates from five AC companies and Magic Touch proved to be the best of them throughout the process. I am very detail oriented so it was easy to spot which sales people were and which were not, Ty Sharp at Magic Touch was by far the most knowledgeable and detailed.
