We just had a new furnace and air conditioner installed. Gary and Collin were phenomenal!!! Very courteous, polite and friendly. They answered all of my questions and they worked well as a team. Feb. 2020 Replacement of our existing HVAC system with a new Carrier unit from Kirkwood Heating and Air. 1. Inspect our existing situation, recommend appropriate replacement options (good, better, best), ability and willingness to answer our questions, and even present for a good portion of the installation. Chris Schroeder 5 star! 2. The new system was installed in 1 day by Gary, along with help from Collin, Ty, & Chris. The installation was done in a professional manner with great attention to detail. Everyone worked as a team and always showed care and concern for our home and property. The STL county inspector even complimented their work! Gary and the crew 5+ Star! 3. The office communication/coordination including billing, scheduling, and follow up was very efficient and unfolded exactly as expected. Kayla and Brandy 5 Star! Courteously knowledgeable service. Generous with their time in explaining variety of options to repair/replace my HVAC system. I decided to replace. On day of installation the team arrived on time, focused on the task at hand while being available to answer questions that arose for me during the installation. The team also did an excellent job cleaning up at the conclusion of the installation. I have used KHAC for over 10 years and plan to continue to use them for heating and cooling system servicing. Kirkwood Heating & Air Conditioning are efficient, friendly, available and helpful. We have used their services for years and have always found them to take care of our needs. About a month ago we found out that our home was not warming up by noticing the thermostat. We called Kirkwood Heating and Air Conditioning and they came for a service call THAT day. They gave us the news that our Heating and AC units needed to be replaced. They put a temporary fix on the furnace and guided us through the replacement procedure including the finance options. We set an installation date and they were here early on the morning agreed upon. The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. They did not leave a mess. It was a long and tedious job--removing the old units and installing the new. I had confidence in them because I had used that company before and they did not let me down. (See More)

We have been dealing with KHAC since moving to Kirkwood about 12 years ago. They put in my heating and cooling systems at that time and I believe Chris was working for them then. Chris has maintained our system each Spring and Fall and we have not had one issue with the system to date. Grant you the system is great, however, we believe Chris's attention to detail has been exemplary and has had much to do with it's being great! His tenure at the company speaks volumes about the overall quality of the company and assures us that we can continue to have faith in KHAC and confidence in it's recommendations. (See More)

Gary, Steve, Chris and Tyler were great! We had hired them to install a new Carrier Premium HVAC system after getting 8 bids and researching our options. We felt this company was professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. Our heat actually ironically went out a week before our scheduled install and they made some calls and were able to get us in the next day! They were efficient and cleaned up very thoroughly after the installation was complete. As the manager of a medical supply company, I strongly value customer service and have high standards when it comes to a company's response. Kirkwood Heating and Cooling exceeded my expectations and I know we made the right choice selecting them for the large project. We would highly recommend them for anyone's HVAC needs. Thank you! Our furnace wouldn't light in near zero degree weather, after supper. I had enough heat sources in the house that it could wait till the next day. I left a message on the website request and followed up with a call the next morning. Kayla said they were VERY busy but would get us repaired that day. Chris arrived by 10:30 a.m., reviewed the situation and made a very educated 'TAP' on the pressure switch that was stuck, and we've had heat ever since. Polite, courteous, and professional. We have used KHAC for many, many years. One of their agents, usually Chris, comes to our DesPeres home 2x/yr to check the furnace/humidifier and AC. He is very professional and NEVER tries to sell us anything we don't need. Because of our semi-annual service plan, we have never had any issues. When our aged AC went out about 10 years ago, on a hot Father's Day, they immediately came out to replace with no extra "Sunday" fee. (See More)

We noticed that our very old A/C unit was not working on a Sunday, and we called KHAC. Chris came out promptly on an emergency call, and gave the system a freon boost, but pointed out that there is likely a leak in the system and freon will no longer be available in a few years. So, we decided it was a good time to go ahead and replace the furnace/AC system. Chris provided us with four options by e-mail the next day, and we made our choice and signed the agreement online, which was very convenient, as we were out of town. Gary and Steve arrived right on time on the day we agreed upon and did a great job on the installation, even putting down runners from the door to the furnace/ac location in order to keep the carpet clean. KHAC submitted all of the paperwork to register the new system, filed the rebate form for an attractive money back incentive offered by Ameren (for high efficiency systems), and handled all of the paperwork for a 0% APR, 3-yr financing arrangement. The whole process went very smoothly, and the new 2-stage Carrier system works great, and is incredibly quiet, unlike our old system. This is our second HVAC system purchased from KHAC (for 2 different residences), and we have had nothing but good experiences in our 20 years of seeking their help. (See More)

I've known the owner, Mark Menos, for the past 15 years. He's an honest businessman who goes above and beyond to help you out. My air conditioner was out and I needed help asap. He contacted Kayla who sent Chris out the next morning to get a bid on a new unit. Within a couple of days I had the quote and made the decision to go ahead. Unfortunately, it was Memorial Day weekend, so Tuesday morning, Kayla contacted me and was able to get me scheduled for, first thing, Wednesday morning. The two techs, Jeff and Mike, showed up and were quite the efficient team! Getting the 2.5 ton unit in my yard was a big challenge...but once that was done, within a few hours, I was up and running! They were very polite and cleaned up after themselves! I'd definitely recommend them!!! (See More)

Chris and KHAC were working on my AC and furnace for years before I even bought my home. They are still working on it 7 years later. They are friendly, courteous and on time when they schedule an appointment. They have fielded calls after hours when I thought I was having a CO gas problem (it was just a bad alarm), and are reasonably priced. I highly recommend them. (See More)
