Our heating system went down. Sales responded immediately. Installation staff was great! Luke and Jason removed the old unit and installed the new one. Steve worked on some duct work. Gary also contributed to the installation. Luke and Jason first thing they did was put down floor covering. Very polite and worked the entire time. Took the time to explain a new digital thermostat. Derrick, Jeff, and Gary came out to install a new HVAC system. The work was done quickly and with minimal disruption. The crew kept the area very clean during installation and observed all COVID-19 protocols. There was a small hic-cup with air filters. I had just purchased 6 and had been told they would build the filter frame to fit. Unfortunately this did not happen. Per Gary he said you would give me a box (12) of the correct size and he took the now incorrect sized filters with them. BTW I have not received the box of correct size filters yet. The other gentleman, Derrick I believe, did the installation of the a/c unit. They both made sure that all their mess was cleaned away before leaving. I would recommend Kirkwood Heating and Cooling. Kirkwood Heating and A/C did a great job installing a new HVAC system within tight quarters in my home. Gary is a master installer and a true perfectionist. I have used KHAC for all my home system installs and have never been disappointed. They are there to provide a system that meets your needs and within your budget. They don’t pressure sell which I greatly appreciate! They even offer financing if needed. My recent install, Gary went above and beyond in the midst of a pandemic and still showed up for the install of my furnace and AC. And because my landscaper never showed to prep the site for my AC unit, Gary did a little landscaping to make it happen (no charge)! Kudos to everyone involved! We just had a new furnace and air conditioner installed. Gary and Collin were phenomenal!!! Very courteous, polite and friendly. They answered all of my questions and they worked well as a team. ********* *** **** did a great job and installed the entire system in a cramped attic space in less than half a day. Removed the existing broken unit and installed new one. Clean and respectful service and explained everything about the system to me. Also told me about the service call that will occur in the spring to check that the system is properly charged. Had a 30 -year-old furnace that I decided to proactively replace before winter. Kirkwood Heating & Air Conditioning was recommended to us by a friend/contractor. Of the three companies that I contacted, KGAC's quote was the easiest to understand. The quote was conveniently presented on their Website which allowed for the easy selection of options. **** and his team were on time for the installation. The job was completed within the time allocated and the installation looks excellent. Gary, Steve, Chris and Tyler were great! We had hired them to install a new Carrier Premium HVAC system after getting 8 bids and researching our options. We felt this company was professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. Our heat actually ironically went out a week before our scheduled install and they made some calls and were able to get us in the next day! They were efficient and cleaned up very thoroughly after the installation was complete. As the manager of a medical supply company, I strongly value customer service and have high standards when it comes to a company's response. Kirkwood Heating and Cooling exceeded my expectations and I know we made the right choice selecting them for the large project. We would highly recommend them for anyone's HVAC needs. Thank you! Not only did they come within a couple of hours to diagnose the issue with my furnace, they were were also able to schedule an install for less than 48 hours. Kirkwood Heating & Air Conditioning is Simply the Best! It became very cold randomly here in St Louis over a weekend, and my heat went out. I have a 5 week old newborn and needed to get the problem solved ASAP. As soon as Kirkwood Heating & Air Conditioning heard about my son they sent a technician out within a matter of minutes. Within an hour Gary was able to diagnose the problem, give me options, and fix the issue all within my budget. Not only was the work performed professionally, Gary was extremely polite and respectful. His customer service was second to none. My furnace recently stopped working on of course, a Saturday. After researching HVAC company's on-line I called Kirkwood HVAC hoping I could get someone to come out on Monday. I was so happy when Tyler immediately called me back and said he could be out within the hour. He arrived in about 45 minutes and had my furnace running almost immediately. Even though my furnace was super old I told him I would probably not be ready to replace it for another year but I would be happy to receive a quote from them for a new one. I received a quote the following Monday and went ahead and set up the installation for the new one. I was quickly sold on this company's expertise at what they do and their exceptional customer service! (See More)

We noticed that our very old A/C unit was not working on a Sunday, and we called KHAC. Chris came out promptly on an emergency call, and gave the system a freon boost, but pointed out that there is likely a leak in the system and freon will no longer be available in a few years. So, we decided it was a good time to go ahead and replace the furnace/AC system. Chris provided us with four options by e-mail the next day, and we made our choice and signed the agreement online, which was very convenient, as we were out of town. Gary and Steve arrived right on time on the day we agreed upon and did a great job on the installation, even putting down runners from the door to the furnace/ac location in order to keep the carpet clean. KHAC submitted all of the paperwork to register the new system, filed the rebate form for an attractive money back incentive offered by Ameren (for high efficiency systems), and handled all of the paperwork for a 0% APR, 3-yr financing arrangement. The whole process went very smoothly, and the new 2-stage Carrier system works great, and is incredibly quiet, unlike our old system. This is our second HVAC system purchased from KHAC (for 2 different residences), and we have had nothing but good experiences in our 20 years of seeking their help. (See More)

We decided to have central air installed in our home and chose Kirkwood Heating & Air Conditioning to do the installation. Gary and Steve did a wonderful job. They were very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend to anyone needing installation of air or service on their A/C. They installed our new furnace a few years ago also. Both Steve and Gary were very professional. The arrived on time and before starting the job covered carpeting with drop clothes. After the installation was complete they removed the old unit leaving the area very clean. Also asked them about coming back in August to service our boiler. Would highly recommend them. (See More)

I'm a real estate agent and home owner. That means I've gotten more information about professional reputation of each contractor I work with. KHVAC worked, designed and built the expanded HVAC for the room addition at this house and services all these spaces twice each year. Kirkwood Heating & AC Co. has treated us right and with excellent care and concern for our AC/Heating concerns. Gary recently responded in a very timely manner to correct an issue with both our AC systems and within minutes had diagnosed the issue and within a timely manner had the problem resolved.
