I have used KHAC for all my home system installs and have never been disappointed. They are there to provide a system that meets your needs and within your budget. They don’t pressure sell which I greatly appreciate! They even offer financing if needed. My recent install, Gary went above and beyond in the midst of a pandemic and still showed up for the install of my furnace and AC. And because my landscaper never showed to prep the site for my AC unit, Gary did a little landscaping to make it happen (no charge)! Kudos to everyone involved! Feb. 2020 Replacement of our existing HVAC system with a new Carrier unit from Kirkwood Heating and Air.
1. Inspect our existing situation, recommend appropriate replacement options (good, better, best), ability and willingness to answer our questions, and even present for a good portion of the installation. Chris Schroeder 5 star!
2. The new system was installed in 1 day by Gary, along with help from Collin, Ty, & Chris. The installation was done in a professional manner with great attention to detail. Everyone worked as a team and always showed care and concern for our home and property. The STL county inspector even complimented their work! Gary and the crew 5+ Star!
3. The office communication/coordination including billing, scheduling, and follow up was very efficient and unfolded exactly as expected. Kayla and Brandy 5 Star!
In Summary, we were very pleased from start to finish and would not hesitate to call on Kirkwood Heating and Cooling in the future.

Courteously knowledgeable service. Generous with their time in explaining variety of options to repair/replace my HVAC system. I decided to replace. On day of installation the team arrived on time, focused on the task at hand while being available to answer questions that arose for me during the installation. I had a furnace problem shortly before Christmas and needed a new one installed. Kirkwood heating responded with service above and beyond the call of duty, first going out of the way to locate what I needed, which was an unusual item, them installing it promptly -- only to discover that a critical piece (under warranty) was defective. They put a rush order in, the piece was delivered and installed just a few days before the holiday, when I had 17 people coming for dinner. Wonderful. Tyler did beautiful work, and Kayla took time on her day off to go the office and meet me in order to get the order in. This kind of attention just cannot be beaten. (See More)

About a month ago we found out that our home was not warming up by noticing the thermostat. We called Kirkwood Heating and Air Conditioning and they came for a service call THAT day. They gave us the news that our Heating and AC units needed to be replaced. They put a temporary fix on the furnace and guided us through the replacement procedure including the finance options. We set an installation date and they were here early on the morning agreed upon. The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. They did not leave a mess. It was a long and tedious job--removing the old units and installing the new. I had confidence in them because I had used that company before and they did not let me down. (See More)

Of the three companies that I contacted, KGAC's quote was the easiest to understand. The quote was conveniently presented on their Website which allowed for the easy selection of options. **** and his team were on time for the installation. The job was completed within the time allocated and the installation looks excellent. First, Tyler talked in detail about the options available and was very knowledgeable about all of them. Second he asked about efficiency levels and because of my age was hesitant to spend a lot more for high efficiency models. Tyler, wanted me to see the differences in cost and when he put together the 4 options it was less than $200 for a 16 SEER and a 96% efficient heat system! The other 3 bidders chose not to do this. Our furnace wouldn't light in near zero degree weather, after supper. I had enough heat sources in the house that it could wait till the next day. I left a message on the website request and followed up with a call the next morning. Kayla said they were VERY busy but would get us repaired that day. Chris arrived by 10:30 a.m., reviewed the situation and made a very educated 'TAP' on the pressure switch that was stuck, and we've had heat ever since. Polite, courteous, and professional. My furnace recently stopped working on of course, a Saturday. After researching HVAC company's on-line I called Kirkwood HVAC hoping I could get someone to come out on Monday. I was so happy when Tyler immediately called me back and said he could be out within the hour. He arrived in about 45 minutes and had my furnace running almost immediately. Even though my furnace was super old I told him I would probably not be ready to replace it for another year but I would be happy to receive a quote from them for a new one. I received a quote the following Monday and went ahead and set up the installation for the new one. I've known the owner, Mark Menos, for the past 15 years. He's an honest businessman who goes above and beyond to help you out. My air conditioner was out and I needed help asap. He contacted Kayla who sent Chris out the next morning to get a bid on a new unit. Within a couple of days I had the quote and made the decision to go ahead. Unfortunately, it was Memorial Day weekend, so Tuesday morning, Kayla contacted me and was able to get me scheduled for, first thing, Wednesday morning. The two techs, Jeff and Mike, showed up and were quite the efficient team! Getting the 2.5 ton unit in my yard was a big challenge...but once that was done, within a few hours, I was up and running!
