Eric arrived on time yesterday and has apparently fixed a problem noise; he stuck with the problem until it was fixed. He was very effective in communicating the issue and correcting it. Holbrook is the only place to go for heating and air conditioning. They are always friendly, helpful, and professional. They do the job right at a fair price. Today we needed to get our current a/c working again until Holbrook can install the new one we ordered from them. Our technician was Eric L****, who described himself as just a repairman. He wasn't JUST anything. He got the old machine running and wrote up our order for the new one. He was a pleasure to work with and we are extremely satisfied. Eric L**** and Holbrook are first-rate. I recently had, what I considered to be, a rather unique and baffling failure with my oil fired, hot water home heating system. One of my heating zones was sending heat to my master bedroom when the thermostat was shut off and the circulation pump was not operating. I am an engineer and helped install my heating system so I have some knowledge of how it operates. I was convinced that the problem was a failed relay in the furnace master controller panel. Holbrook technician, Eric L. , responded to my phone call for assistance. Together Eric and I discussed and rejected several different possible causes for the system failure. Ultimately, Eric identified and replaced a relatively inexpensive failed 26 year old backflow preventer. A lesser trained and conscientious tech might have replaced parts by trial and error until my problem was corrected at very significant cost to me. We have recently chosen Holbrook to take care of our air conditioning and heating needs. When our furnace was not running properly, they were here within the day, respectful and sought out others to help remediate the situation.
