The entire experience was superb. Alicia was able to talk me threw on the phone all the ooptions and costs. Day of service we were working from home and noise level was not so much that we could not hear on conference calls. The house is 30 years old and had never had the ducts cleaned. The furnace filter has had a lot less dirt in it since the cleaning. We also had our dryer duct cleaned. It turns out that it was 100% blocked. Our dryer now gets clothes dry in one cycle.

We had the air duct system cleaned which included the complete cold air return side and furnace interior. We had this done on Thursday, April 23, 2020. We are hoping that having this done will somewhat keep the dust issue at bay. The technicians were very professional and pleasant and any questions we had they were able to answer. Definitely an asset to Fresh Air Corp and we will use their services for future needs, and we will recommend this company. Very impressed as was our neighbor. James was on time, explained the process, did what he said, protected our floors, furniture, and walls. Neat and clean work and very pleasant to work with. Fully protected with PPE. Have great before and after pics that I took. By having one added neighbor we both got $50 disc and if I had two neighbors we would each have gotten $100 disc. Your company is 5 stars service to me, from the first phone call and professionalism of your entire team. DreSan and Stephen did a great job at cleaning the duct work in my house. They were very courteous and super considerate of my cats. Stephen showed me multiple pictures of the ducts before and after they were cleaned. I would have preferred the office to have scheduled a more realistic time frame. They were supposed to arrive between 12-2, but didn't arrive until 3 because their previous job was in London, OH and they had to travel to my house (near the zoo). I contacted Fresh Air Corp online (on a Sunday) to inquire about their services and received a call the following day. Alicia was very helpful explaining what the different services entailed and how much they cost. I went with the duct service cleaning and sanitizing because the prior owners of the house had a dog and the entire home smelled as such. We had new carpet put in which alleviated the odor, but I knew there was likely a lot of pet hair/dander in the vents. Moreover, the sticker on the furnace indicated that the ducts hadn't been cleaned since 2008. Alicia sent before/after photos and there really was a lot of dust, etc. beforehand.
The technicians, Dre and Chris, arrived on time, were courteous, and professional. They laid a drop cloth to protect the floor from the hose, set up plastic covers to protect the walls as the hose bent around corners, and even wore protective foot booties. They arrived in a box truck with a giant blower inside and that hose was connected to the duct work which was able to create a vacuum and remove the debris. Other companies seem to use the equivalent of shop vacs and I can't imagine they create as much pressure The sanitizing service further ameliorated any pet odor and left the house smelling fresh. It took a little under two hours from the time they showed up and the time the left. The service was a little expensive, but considering how thorough the cleaning was and the power of their equipment, I think it was a good value. I'll call them again when the time comes! I was so impressed with Fresh Air Corp I can't rate them highly enough. I was victim to a scam company that has no business or know how to clean vents and duct work. Fresh Air Corp before and after pictures are the proof! The Before (which was 2 weeks after I paid another company) were pretty gross looking. Steven was very knowledgable and answered any and all of my questions about the work. When there was a problem located such as removal of a register cover in the kitchen that could have torn the vinyl flooring he instructed another solution. He worked quietly and efficiently.

Every member of the team was polite and professional. They wore booties over their shoes which meant that they were considerate of tracking in outside dirt. Each tech that I spoke with answered any questions that I had and allowed me to observe and explained the procedures. In November 2018, I spoke with Megan and was very pleased with the conversation. She explained the process and was able to give me a quote over the phone. She answered all my questions and concerns completely. I scheduled the work but when the crew came out they found asbestos tape on the duct boots leading the registers. When I again spoke with Megan she emailed me helpful information on asbestos dangers and remediation. Additionally, she provided names of two companies that I could contact to discuss remediation. I elected to have the boots removed by one of the companies that she recommended. That company did a fantastic job on the 4 townhouse apartments all in one day. I am grateful that Megan gave me information and options as well as referrals. She expressed sincere concern for the situation that I was dealing with and provided the needed alternative information which was greatly appreciated.
The end of January, 2019 after I chose to have the duct boots removed and replaced I again contacted Megan to set up the work. She had no problem honoring the original cost for the work to be done. She set up an appointment for February 4th for the work. Megan is a very professional, considerate and friendly person who put me at ease; I enjoyed talking with her. In November 2018, DreSan came out with a crew to clean out the registers in 4 townhouse apartments. Prior to doing the work he came to me and asked to show me something. In the basement the duct boots connected to the floor registers were wrapped in asbestos tape. He was very professional in explaining that they could not do the work that it wouldn't be safe. He explained that the vibration from the machine pulling out the debris from the ducts could cause the tape to rupture and release the asbestos fibers. He was very kind and understanding that I had no awareness of the existence of the asbestos tape.
On February 4, 2019 after the duct boots with the asbestos had been removed, DreSan along with the crew returned. I remembered him and thanked him for the consideration that he showed me on the previous visit. I had been given the run around by 3 other companies and was at my wits end when I called. As soon as I began to talk to the girl who answered, I knew that I was finally in the right place! Both of you were so friendly, professional and set my mind at ease right away. You could of easily said ‘sorry, we don’t service your area...’, as many companies would of done. Instead, you thoughtfully listened to our troubles and immediately began to look for ways you could help us. We hired Fresh Air Corp to clean our air duct after a bad remodeling experience with another company created a ton of dust in our home. I spoke with Megan who explained the process and quoted a price for the cleaning which was lower than three of the other companies I contacted. We received an email explaining what we needed to prepare for before the visit as well as a confirmation email and text a few days beforehand. We also received a text the morning of the visit notifying us that the technicians were on their way. This was very much appreciated as we needed a heads up in order to get our dogs out of the house beforehand. The two technicians, James and DreSan, were very professional and performed the job in a timely manner. All in all a pleasant experience.
