I’m an avid fisherman. My husband and I like to travel to Alaska along the Kenai Peninsula and catch salmon and halibut. We stay in a little town called Homer, “The Halibut Fishing Capital of the World”. We also like to fish along the American River with our son and travel all over to watch him play in LaCrosse Tournaments. When we’re at home together we love cooking. My husband and I recently took some cooking classes and learned to prepare everything from Italian food to Thai food. We also like to get our hands dirty doing landscaping work on our home. I enjoy working at Bonney because I appreciate the leadership of the company. Everybody at Bonney has such a great positive attitude, too. I love fixing the customer’s electrical problems and get a lot of personal satisfaction from it. I’ve always liked working with my hands ever since I was a boy helping my dad, who was a carpenter. I especially enjoy woodworking like timber framing and cabinetry. I love the great outdoors. I enjoy spear fishing along the Sonoma Coast or the Humboldt area. I like to camp along the cliffs of Ocean Cove near Jenner with friends and family. We take zodiac boats out to the Ocean and dive for abalone. I also like backpacking the Mokelumne wilderness or Silverlake in the Eastern Sierra Nevada. What does 5-star service mean to me? Honest hard work and being neat and clean when you do it leaving the work area spotless.

I have great managers and co-workers at Bonney and feel like a member of a team instead of just an employee. Every day I get to meet somebody new and help them with their plumbing needs. I feel a sense of satisfaction when I walk away after completing a job and get a warm smile or a friendly wave. In my free time I like to play guitar and piano. Back in the day I played lead guitar in a blues band called “Cold Chicken”. I also like listening to music; mostly classic rock and progressive. Listening to The Who’s Live at Leeds at my Uncle’s house got me hooked on classic rock. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes and techniques. I like cooking brisket, pork, and salmon in the wood smoker. I also cook what I catch when I fish along the Sacramento Delta. I mostly fish for sturgeon and stripper near Rio Vista. I like meeting new people every day and providing a valuable service to our customers. I consider myself an HVAC advocate for our clients which is why I carefully educate the customer about their system so they feel confident they’re making a sound decision on their heating and cooling system. In my spare time I enjoy good food and good beer. We usually go to Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que in Rocklin or Buffalo Wild Wings in Roseville. Love the wings. My wife and three boys are my focus and motivation. Without the family I have, I would not be the man that I am. We just love our two Chihuahuas, Bella and Zoey. We also travel a lot as a family. We just love Disneyland during the holiday season. We also travel down to Pismo Beach any chance we can get to soak up family. Everybody I work with at Bonney is really nice, supportive and helpful. It’s a great team atmosphere. I really enjoy the customer service aspect of my job at Bonney…it’s really brought me out of my shell. In my spare time I like to go to the gym and lift weights to keep in shape. I was a high school wrestler so staying fit is important to me. I also like to go bass fishing along the Sacramento Delta. I love the team atmosphere at Bonney as well as our longtime loyal customers. Building trusting relationships with our customers and helping them solve their heating and cooling issues gives me a lot of satisfaction. I have over 17 years of experience in the HVAC industry, it’s all I’ve ever done. I love to sing. I used to be in an 80’s cover band called “The Cartoons”. We sang all your favorite 80’s hits from The B52’s Love Shack to Alannah Myles’s “Black Velvet” and everything in between. Nowadays, I get my singing fix performing karaoke at Red Hawk Casino’s Karaoke Night on the Big Stage. It’s a blast! I have two children and we like to spend quality time together. I like the work atmosphere and environment at Bonney. It’s fast-paced, no-nonsense, and straight forward. The communication is top-notch. There’s always a person with an answer to every question whether it’s a co-worker or manager. I also appreciate our friendly customers. I love to work with my hands. Welding, fabricating, building parts and working on classic cars like a ‘68 Chevelle or a ’66 Chevy Nova. I’m a big classic rock fan from AC/DC to Foreigner to The Who. I also enjoy listening to country music new and old. You name it, I love it. I love the San Francisco Giants and try to attend as many games as I can. A big thrill of mine was visiting Beijing, China with my mother. We visited all the sights and sounds including The Great Wall. What does 5-star service mean to me? I like the people I work with and the family friendly atmosphere at Bonney. As a single father raising two children I appreciate the fact that Bonney cares about the employees and their families. My two kids keep me very busy. Their hobbies are my hobbies. My son plays t-ball for the Ponderosa Little League. Go Indians! My daughter plays fast-pitch softball with the Foothill Girls Softball League. I’m actually on the Bonney Softball Team! We love the outdoors and go camping whenever we get the chance. We spend time at Loon Lake, Icehouse, or Union Valley kayaking on the lake, trout fishing along the river or just hiking the beautiful trails the Sierra Nevada has to offer. We also bring our four dogs, Lola, Dixie, Emmy and Misty. I love Italian food as well as barbequing in the backyard. Tri-tip, ribs, or chicken. I also love all kinds of music. I like Bonney because it’s a reputable, well-established company in the community. They have high expectations and do things right. I enjoy helping and satisfying the customer; some days I feel like a hero seeing how grateful they can be. I live in Pioneer and spend most of my time in the great outdoors. I don’t even own a television. I’m usually fishing for rainbow trout at Tiger Creek along the Mokelumne River with my fiancée. She’s my right hand woman and even catches them before me! We also like to hike the trails in the Mount Zion State Forest in Amador County or go snowboarding together up the hill at Iron Mountain. We have two dogs, a bloodhound named Cooper and a Queensland Heeler named Jasper. They do it all with us! What does 5-star service mean to me? I like working at Bonney because it’s a great company with a real family feel. If I have a question, somebody always has an answer. My father was a plumber and he passed along all of his knowledge and skills to me. Plumbing is more than just a job, it’s a passion to me. It’s a way to honor my dad and his memory continues on through my plumbing work. In my spare time I like to keep in shape by going to the gym to lift weights and play racquetball. I also attend and volunteer at Green Valley Community Church in Placerville. I volunteer at our full-service café washing dishes, prepping food, and making coffee. I love the teamwork at Bonney. I feel I can always lean on a co-worker for advice. I also like the fact that we have regular morning staff meetings and an open door policy where we can sit down and have an open communication with management. I appreciate the physical labor at Bonney because I love to work with my hands. Working at Bonney is great because I’m learning something new every day either out in the field with my Bonney co-workers or at the offices where we have weekly training. In my spare time I enjoy longboarding in Amador County or the backroads in Folsom. I also love to play soccer; we usually have pick-up games at Amador High School.
