We contacted Blue Dot to do a winter heating checkup, the technician showed up and we directed him to our boiler/heating system. I asked the technician to bleed the heating system/water lines to get the air out of the system as well as make sure the boiler was working properly. The technician gave me several excuses why he couldn't/wouldn't bleed our system. I think he was interested in finishing up the inspection quickly and also trying to get us to purchase a new heating system. I was not impressed with Blue Dot and will not be using them in the future. (See More)

Blue Dot is the best. They are the only company I will allow to service my a/c needs. My parents are also customers. My technician, Peter P. Was extremely nice and educated me about some things I did not know about my a/c unit. I hope they send him again for future service calls and general maintenance checks. I have been with Blue Dot since 1993 or 1994 It was Corbin Electronics back then. Mr. Corbin sold to Blue Dot and I continued my service. I have been very satisfied with the service so plan on continuing the service for many years. (See More)

Peter Polesky came this am for my spring maintenance. He was extremely professional, nice, and polite. I have a little dog who does not like men (he is a rescue) within the firsr 2 minutes Mr. Polesky had made friends with Charlie. Unusual! Charley followed him to ac unit and watched while he did all the checks. We talked about familys and such while he was writing up paperwork. I would not hesitate to have Mr. Polesky in my home for dinner with my family. He made a great impression on me. (See More)

Wow, came home and on a very cold day my heat had died. My house was cold. My wife sent me an SOS text about the cold house. Called Blue Dot and within a couple of hours Peter was at my place. He took his time and ran a few test and discovered the issue. My thermostat was toast. He installed a new one and my house was back to its nice and warm place. (See More)

Just want to comment on the terrific job that Pete P and his crew did to get my heat back up and running! Pete came out in the AM, assessed the problem and when it could be corrected. When I gave Pete the backstory and also my limited time to take away from my own job, he jumped into action. He was able to get the needed part that same day, get him and his crew back that afternoon, and had my heat back on that evening!! Just great customer service, thanks Pete, and the crew. Service was within the allotted window given to me. Tech was great and fixed our problem right away. He even went a step above and beyond to see that because of our spring cleaning we should not have had this problem, needless to say at we were not charged for the service call. (See More)

My service today was performed by Pete Polesky and a technician trainee by the name of Larry. Both were personable and professional. The work being performed was explained well and completed quickly even though a capaciter had to be picked up. They used shoe covers when coming in our home and kept the works areas, both inside and outside, neat and completely cleaned up after completion. Our prior VAC service provider had been bought out and we were not satisfied with them going forward. In all likliehood we will be using Blue Dot for the foreseeable future. (See More)

We did not have any heat on 1/5/16. Peter P. was actually servicing a neighbors house next door and came over after he was done. He fixed our heat, explained what was wrong and gave us recommendations on how to keep our HVAC unit in tip top shape. I am so glad he agreed to come over and take a look at our unit for us. He informed me of available opitions available to me .He also changed the filter,turned in the humidifer forme he also asked if Iwas haveing any problems before proceeding. On November 16, 2015 Peter Polesley responded to my request for a problem with my new heat pump installation. It seemed that when the heat pump began a "Heat" cycle, it came on in the "Auxiliary Heat" mode. He arrived at my residence and was able to extend the interval from 15 minute to 25 minutes when the "Auxiliary Heat" came on after the "Heat On" function began. It seems to work well now. My a/c stopped working on a very hot and humid day. The first thng the next morning, Peter P. was at my door and after much checking and head scratching, he finally found the culprit of my troubles. A small connector outside had corroded on the inside but looked and felt as though it was well connected. Once the situation was identified and fixed, everything was back to normal. Peter was thorough, fast and clean. He was also friendly and told me what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. He also made great friends with my dog! Great job! (See More)

My air conditioner stopped working over Mother's Day weekend. I called Blue Dot on Sunday expecting to get an answering machine and hoping I could schedule something during the week. To my pleasant surprise, someone answered the phone and then told me a technician would be at my house between 2 - 8 pm. Peter Polesky arrived around 5:30 pm and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Peter was very pleasant and polite. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He took the time to explain what the problem was and what he did. I've been a Blue Dot customer for many years and am continually pleased by their customer service and the quality of their employees. He gently broke the news and, at our request, set up an appointment with a comfort technician to explore our replacement options. We have been using Blue Dot for many years. They replaced the heating and cooling units in both our last house and this one. (We aren't that hard on them, we have just lived a looong time in each house.) This spring service was performed by Peter Polesky. Peter was very professional and helpful in dealing with my concerns. I recently had an intermittent problem with our heat pump running continuously. Blue Dot sent Peter P. to repair the system. He was extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He performed a complete system check and explained what he was doing throughout the process. He quickly identified the problem and replaced the faulty component. Service tech was very good and fixed the problem. The sales person made promises that he didn't keep. New installtion and wasn't working when the installers were done. Called salesman and told him he said he would call me back still waiting for that call. I had to put in a sevice call on a new installation. Salesman told me to call him if I had any problems. Over 24 hrs later tech fixed the new hot water heater. Still waiting for call back from Glenn Corbin. (See More)

Peter P. arrived earlier than expected which was a great surprise. He introduced himself and verified that that he was parked in the side of the driveway that would not be a problem. Peter was careful to put on shoe covers each time he entered the house. He explained the service in a very informative way and carefully explained all potential additional service options along with their costs and discounts. How much will it cost? Can someone come today? Can I trust them? It was refreshing to have such a friendly, helpful person on the other end of the phone when I called Blue Dot. We were able to arrange for a technician to come take a look the same day. Peter P. showed up early with a smile. I was even more impressed with how thorough he was with the inspection and the time he took to explain the problems he found with my furnace. A few hours later, John V. arrived. John was very professional and did not seem bothered by the extra heavy traffic he sat through to get to my home tonight.
