Skip spent a number of hours installing the coil. He checked out my entire system. I hope that Blue Dot will send Skip anytime that we have a problem. Once again-after numerous calls and rescheduling-my appointment has to be rescheduled again because someone forgot to call me 25 minutes before the service man was to arrive at my home and I explicitly asked for this to happen every time and was told by the person taking my call that THIS WOULD HAPPEN-remember now this is my Spring check up we are talking about here! I had personal issues to attend to in February-April and have been trying to schedule this ever since-yes call me 410-937-7125-THUS IS THE NUMBER TO CALL!!! (See More)

Giving Skip a 5 because it was not his fault that the schedule got messed up. He showed up on time, and tried everything he could to fix it. However, he needed a valve and a coil. So a part had to be ordered. I appreciate that he didn't just give up and say you need a part. Thanks Skip. Writing this today as I'm waiting on the next tech who HAS MY PART and hopefully I will have AC working today. I'll keep you posted. (See More)

We called for a furnace service and cleaning. Skip was very thorough and found more than we wanted for sure. He found damages from prior service work and the broken plate for the burners. He also found a cracked heat exchanger. Obviously, we were not expecting this for a 20 year old oil-fired furnace. We learned a hard and expensive lesson. Watch who you choose as your service company, you get what you pay for!. I want to thank Skip first for finding this life threatening problem and condemning the system. 5 starThis is a review of the service call from Walter "Skip" F. He was able to find the refrigerant leak that the previous tech could not find. He also alerted me to two things to keep an eye on (one was the proximity of my dryer vent to the unit) and was very helpful, courteous and thorough. I am a little concerned that this is the third time I have had technicians clean up work that could be a result of the initial installation (1, system was empty within first 30 days, 2. minor cleanup of screws that pretty much cut my hands each time I changed the filter - even though that wasn't the purpose of the call, and 3. possible substandard braze that lead to the leak), but the repair techs have always been professional and stood behind the product. I called Blue Dot Services on Monday afternoon and their technician- Walter "Skip" F.- was at my house on Tuesday to fix my air conditioner. I was very glad that they could get someone to my house the next day but even more glad that Walter (Skip) was able to fix the problem with the A/C in a short time and had my A/C back working and cooling off my house. I'm glad I called Blue Dot Services and was very happy with my technician Walter. I recommend them to anyone with A/C problems. (See More)

After the previous BLUE DOT tech providing horrible service that left us with a "broken" AC unit that was supposed to just have been serviced on a ROUTINE maintenance check with an expensive service contract, ... Walter (skip) was dispatched & got the parts re-ordered, ....expedited & installed ....to get us truly in service. We are thankful for his kindness & caring. We were beginning to totally believe that Blue Dot did not care. Skip showed us he did care. On the September 25,2013 Blue Dot serviced and repaired our Heating/Aircondition Heat Pump system.The technician was Walter " Skip" F. He appeared to have a thorough in depth knowledge of the equipment he was servicing. He displayed a high degree of manual dexterity as well as good organizational planning of the work. i.e.He was very efficient. He arrived at the scheduled time and worked continuously without a break until the work was completed. He kept the work site neat and wore his slip over shoe covers while in the house. He had a cheerful attitude and answered all questions put to him without hesitation. He displayed a fine example of a Blue Dot employee. His protege Frank also gave a good account of himself as well. RYAN R. AND SKIP WERE HERE FRIDAY TO SERVICE THE AIR CONDITON UNDER MY CONTRACT. THEY WERE BOTH VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. THE ONLY QUESTION I HAD WAS THAT I HAVE CEILING LEAKS AND NO ONE THERE SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO GIVE ME A SATISFACTORY ANSWER AS TO WHY. THE UNIT WAS INSTALLED IN 2001 AND ABOUT 3 YRS AGO THE CEILING VENTS STARTED TO LEAK WITH CONDENSATION. MY PLASTER CEILINGS ARE ALL RUINED AND HAVE TO BE REPAINTED. HOWEVER I DO NOT WANT TO REPAINT UNTIL I KNOW THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED. THEY SAID TO PUT A POSTER BOARD ON THE RETURN VENT DURING THE WINTER. I WENT TO TURN ON THE FAN AND AIR AND COULD NOT GET IT WORKING. I HAD PROBLEMS GETTING THRU TO BLUE DOT FRI NITE, HAD TO CALL AGAIN SAT AT NOON. THEY WERE TO CALL ME HALF AN HOUR BEFORE THEY CAME. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. I WAS AT A CHURCH BAZAAR WORKING WHEN I CAME HOME I FOUND A MESSAGE THAT SAID SOMEONE WAS HERE , CHECKED IT OUT AND LEFT. I CALLED BACK AND FINALLY ANIOTHER NICE GENTLEMEN, KEVIN, CAME AND SAID IT WAS WORKING FOR HIM AND YES IT WAS. HE INDICATED HE WOULD TAKE MY PROBLEM TO HIS SUPERVISORS AND TRY TO GET AN ANSWER FOR ME ALL IN ALL YOUR TECH ARE EXTREMELY MANNERLY AND POLITE AND CAREFUL IN MY HOME HOWEVER, I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY SOMEONE AT BLUE DOT C ANNOT FIND OUT WHAT TO DO TO FIX MY PROBLEM WITH THE VENTS IN THE CEILING LEAKING. Walter (?skip) and his associate arrived promptly and worked diligently to install the water heater. They were respectful of my home and appeared knowledgeable and explained the heater setting before leaving. They removed all "trash" and left my home neat. Just a note about the first rating I tried to leave. I won't be doing that again--it was not easy and took quite some time to 'set up' and required that I set up another account just to leave a rating.
