John arrived to my home and quietly listened to my explanation of what my heat pump was not doing and what it did prior to not working. He quickly made a diagnosis and went looking for proof. John called the office to check warranty status and informed me so ensure what was being taken care of. John Mullins saved the day! Guests arriving from out of town, and the AC quits the night before their arrival in J.U.N.E. in B.A.L.T.I.M.O.R.E. Not good!!!!
Called Blue Dot after 6:00 p.m. on a Wednesday, and they immediately scheduled us for a 2 - 6 window the next day *and* put us on a wait list! As promised, Blue Dot called 30 minutes before the technician was expected to arrive, and 5:00, John was on the scene. After greeting our Yorkies, he quickly assessed the unit, identified the problem, got the necessary part from his van and repaired the unit in under an hour!!! We were grateful for his efficient work *and* well stocked Blue Dot van!!!
He graciously allowed the dogs to thank him before leaving, and we gave him some pork BBQ to enjoy on his way to his next appointment! Thanks again Blue Dot and 5 stars for John Mullins!!!! (See More)

The service technician was excellent and no complaints there. However the customer service contact for a prior appointment cancelled by Blue Dot without notice was extremely less than satisfactory. Even after speaking with a supervisor we were still dissatisfied. Blue Dot should keep in mind when dealing with customers via the Call Center that there are other options to HVAC service providers out there, e.g. BGE Home, Horizon, etc.. There is a big gap between the level of service provided by the Call Center (poor) and the technician (excellent). (See More)

The call was for routine Spring maintenance service. John M arrived with a pleasant, positive, professional attitude. He went to work and explained everything that he was doing. We appreciated that John did not try to sell us anything extra, but did advise a surge protector. In a neighborhood with trees and squirrels where the electricity does go out at times, we had thought about one in the past. John was able to install the protector after the maintenance was completed. After a less than satisfying experience with Blue Dot customer service, John put a positive face on Blue Dot. (See More)

BlueDot Services is the best. I schedule for routine services for my furnace and heat pump. Found out my fairly new and quite expensive units were not surge protected. I verified this information and could not believe this protective device is not code. I am happy that the electronics of this home equipment is now updated and protected for a reasonable cost. John has been probably the best tech that has come to our house in the 3 years we have had Blue Dot contracts. He did a very detailed inspection, which meant about an hour, for each of our heating units. When he found a crack in one of the system walls, he immediately shut it down and showed me the pictures and in person the damage on each system. He also made a call to the service team to get someone to come out right away that evening to discuss options, as we needed a new system. Very polite and helpful the whole time he was here.
