I had a new AC unit installed today by Ray E. and Teklu T. It was not an easy install. I live in a condo; so Ray was working in a small closet space and Teklu was up on the roof. They were prompt, courteous, careful, and made sure everything was protected and cleaned up!!! (See More)

Yesterday Ray E from Blue Dot and another assistant who was helping for the first half of the day installed an new HVAC system in our condo. It took 11 hours for the installation to be completed. Ray diligently worked the entire time without a lunch break. He was very courteous and respectful as well as answered all of my questions. Ray E just finished up installing our HVAC system and humidifier with the assistance of Teklu T. Both workers were phenomenal, courteous and got the job done properly. The system is up and running and working well. Ray took the time to really explain the product to me and provided helpful maintenance tips in order to prolong the life of our unit. Our forced air HVAC system was installed by Ray, Terlu and Devonte. We performed a lot of work on our house recently but this group was the most professional, knowledgeable and thorough. There is simply nothing negative we can say about the installation process. It was flawless and Blue Dot would be wise to retain and reward these guys.
The reason for only three stars is the sales process. Glenn was our estimator and he sold us with his knowledge and helpfulness during the process. But;
-He overestimated BGE rebates in his proposal and had to increase our cost AFTER we signed the proposal.
-He did not communicate to the installation team that a new line set was requested, resulting in double work for the crew (which took it in stride to their credit)
-Glenn stated that this new unit will be able to maintain a preset humidity level in the house but that's simply not true.
-But most importantly, he sold me a 2 stage ac unit in his sales pitch, but wrote down a single stage unit on the proposal. I did not Google the model numbers on the proposal because I trusted Glenn, only to find out I was essentially lied to.
I can't make a big deal out of this since it's my fault for not checking the model numbers on the proposal without signing it, but it's enough to never use Blue Dot again.
In conclusion, as long as you double check the sales guys pitch for accuracy by doing your own research, we recommend Blue Dot to install your new equipment. (See More)

The technicians were very polite and completely explained exactly what they were going to do and what needed to be done.
They described the product and how good the product is.
They took the time to show and explain the actual working of the product and what I needed to do when in question if at any time there was a problem.
They cleaned up after the job was done, which I thought was completed and also, improved on the existing conditions of our previous installation.
We were totally pleased with Blue Dot and the timely professional manor in which they conducted the whole process. I would go back to Blue Dot if we needed service and again and would recommend them to others. (See More)

Ray and Teklu installed an attic HVAC unit for me. These 2 gentlemen were exceptional professional and courteous in all aspect of my encounter with them during the installation. They showed up on time, in clean and professional work attire. They went through with me what to expect during the installation process. They treated my home with great care during the entire process and cleaned up quite well. They did an excellent work with the installation and cleaned all areas they accessed in my home during their installation. I was initially disappointed that I was not able to get installation immediately. I am on short term disability and had just a few days before I return to working 12 hour night shifts. They were able to schedule me on the last day when it would be convenient for me which was a saturday . They also put a window unit in so the days waiting for installation were bearable. The two technicians who came out were very thorough and seemed to really care about doing the job right. It was a difficult job. Ray Edgerton and Teklu Tadesse cleaned up perfectly. The only negative thing I would say is Mr. Edgerton talks very fast and is a little bit difficult to understand. But the work he did seemed to be superior- only time will tell for sure . He explained things to me but A. I couldn't understand his words well and B. I don't know anything about air conditioning. Therefore I had to trust them to know his stuff which it seems they did. We got our new Carrier Infinity Green Speed installed today by Jason A & Ray E. These techs were AMAZING right from the moment they walked into my door. They were very respectful of my home, laying tarps throughout the entire house and wore shoe on top of the tarps they laid.
