We needed extensive plumbing work on my father-in-law's house prior to estate sale, Mark Munie responded promptly and provided a detailed estimate. The plumbers assigned the job, Val and Ryley, ran into additional work when it was determined the wood around the toilet flanges was rotted. They went on to repair the wood and complete the job on time and within the previously provided estimate. When they departed the work area was pristine. What makes this even more amazing is that all the arrangements were completed by email and phone since we live 800 miles away. We put our trust in Bel-o and we were not disappointed. I would highly recommend using Bel-o-man for any plumbing job if you want professional quality work at a fair price. (See More)

I received a quote to have a compressor replaced on my two year old air conditioner. There were two figures on there, one for the compressor and one for the refrigerant. When I spoke with the office to approve the quote I asked if the compressor cost was covered under warranty and she said yes so my assumption was I would only be paying for the refrigerant which was 420 dollars. When the job was done I was billed over 1200 dollars because they don’t put the labor cost on their quotes. Deceptive practice in my opinion. Anywhere else I have ever been to have anything worked on, the labor charge is listed on a quote. I will be looking for someone else to work on my heating and cooling issues from here on out but I’m sure they don’t care. Their employees by the way were very polite. (See More)

I've been a Bel-O customer for years. I've had excellent experiences with them every time I have service, repair and replacing entire systems. Yvonne and Carrie are outstanding at the service desk. Dustin and Jason have done the service on my HVAC system several times and have always done an outstanding job. I've had interactions with several of the other folks that work at Bel-O and everyone is a credit to outstanding customer service, technical expertise and quality attitude. I've recommended Bel-O to everyone that mentions needing plumbing or HVAC service or work. My daughter had a new heating system put into her very old house based on my recommendations - and the folks at Bel-O hit a home run!!! (See More)

In late September, when it was still hot, our thermostat quit showing temperatures and the AC unit would not run automatically. The Beloman showed up and found that the batteries had gone dead in the thermostat. He had to end up getting new batteries and installing them and then the AC worked fine. He did not charge us for a service call because he said the problem should have been taken care of during the previous call. We are customers for life! The courtesy and service shown by the Beloman was exceptional and we really did appreciate it. Sorry to be so late with this review. It was a pleasure dealing with Beloman. We had to have a toilet removed because of a rotting floor. Beloman came the day I called and after the floor was repaired, came right after the vinyl was laid. The flange and the wax seal had to be changed and the work was completed within an hour. During the process, the serviceman kepts me informed about everything he was doing. This was a great experience and I will certainly use Beloman again. (See More)

I called Belo and spoke with Jerry (VP Residential Sales) about a mild odor coming from our vents. I told him we already had the air ducts and coils cleaned the previous fall. He volunteered to come out and take a look around and see if there was anything they could do to assist. A couple days later Jerry arrived as scheduled. He walked through our house and asked some questions. He looked at our whole HVAC system and said that it looked great and he wouldn't recommend we do anything besides deodorize our system. Based upon prior experiences with other HVAC companies *cough cough Spengler*, when Jerry initially suggested he come out to take a look I was fully expecting the hard sale on an entire new HVAC. Jerry provided the exact opposite, a honest evaluation of our system and a recommendation that was best for us, not for Belo. For his honesty, Jerry has earned my business in the future when I do actually need a new system. Thanks again Jerry. (See More)

We've had a professional relationship with Bel-O for close to 15 years now. Their people are all top level, very knowledgeable, very qualified, very professional and very friendly. We just had our A/C inspected and the tech who performed the job had been at our house before. We have a 9 year old Beagle mix dog who always has to talk to the Bel-O Man when he comes to our house. When our Beagle discovered who the Bel-O tech was she yelped and creid as if she was saying "I haven't seen you in so long! Won't you play with me?" How could anyone say "no" to that? We've used Bel-O for plumbing issues, too, and the problem(s) were resolved perfectly on one visit. As long as Bel-O stays in business we will be using them for heating, cooling, and plumbing issues. So I watch Bar Rescue (don't judge me!) and Jon Taffer pushes Yelp, so I thought I'd write reviews for the local service providers I use. and the Beloman was at the top of my list. We used to use someone else, but in 2006 that other company told my poor mother-in-law that her furnace wasn't repairable and she would need a new $7,000 system. She called us, and we got a 2nd opinion from Bel-O. The tech showed us that a wire was disconnected. He cleaned the system and 8 years later that old system is still working! Since that time, we've always purchased a contract from them on our house and mother-in-law's. Always completely satisifed with them. We just sold the old house, and the home inspector told the buyer the furnace isn't working. We called Bel-O, and he showed us what was happening...a timely issue. That same old furnace is still going strong. The buyer is happy, and we're happy. (See More)

Was off work on January 6th due to the snow and frigid cold temperatures. I went to the basement and noticed water running down one exterior wall,never a good thing. I could see the copper pipe to the outside faucet had frozen, split and was leaking. Called the BELOMAN and explained the situation, they had someone out within 3 hours, capped off the pipe as I requested and gave me a written quote to replace the sillcock in the spring. The repair man was courteous and efficient. I will definitely be calling BELO back to complete the job when the weather warms up. Very satisfied customer. (See More)

Of course we had furnace problems on the coldest, snowiest day possible. When I called for service I was told they were swamped with calls & would get to us as soon as possible. They kept in touch with me and got a tech to our house within a couple of hours. Jim was polite and friendly and knew immediately what the problem was, and had it fixed in no time. Our A/C began acting up on Labor Day! I was able to reach someone and have an appointment scheduled for the first thing Tuesday morning. The technician arrived on time, and was very courteous making sure to wear protective footwear when entering my home. He quickly identified the problem and took care of it. In addition to the main issue, he located a couple of items that could cause future problems and took care of those too. Woke up one morning with no heat. Company coming that night to spend the week-end. Never had to call anyone before so I called a friend in the area who said he wouldn't use anyone but Bel-O Sales and Service in Belleville. I called them and was told they would have someone out that morning and gave me a time window. When serviceman was delayed they called and kept me informed. Technician was very pleasant and explained everything he was doing to diagnose the problem. Needed a thermostat which he had in the truck so the repair was completed quickly. Technician also reviewed the proper way to shut down the furnace and made some recommendations on the kinds of filters to use for my furnace. Can't comment on pricing because I have nothing to compare with but someone once told me if you can ever get someone out to your house to fix something the same day for under $200 you're probably doing okay. If that's true, I did ok. Would definitely use them again. (See More)

Everyone we have dealt with at Bel-o, from sales, service, technicians, office staff, is always very friendly, professional, kind, courteous, and trustworthy. Over the years we have developed a rapport with some of the techs, since some of the same ones have been to our home a few times. A few of the guys really get along well with our Beagle and she loves the attention she receives from them! The service gets done right the first time and is second to none.
