This guy is terrific. He set up the appointment for the inspection and then needed to change it to later in the day. He called the night before to do that which was amazing. When he set the time he was here on time and he apologized for having to change the time and did the same thing when he left. You just don’t get that kind of service from people. He listened to what I wanted, inspected the heat ducts found what the problem was and gave me a solution of what to do instead of taking my money. He gave me a solution to try first before I spent the money. Being an old single woman I always feel like I’m easy prey but Jerry has renewed my faith in humanity! (See More)

Beloman seem to be the most honest company in this area. I can confirm this after going through my Home Warranty and two other companies in the area. Jerry gave me an honest and straight forward honest opinion on what would be his best recommendation. They were the only company that suggested a repair would be more cost effective than trying to get a new unit. I would highly recommend this company if you are trying to find a company that is not looking to ripping you off. (See More)

We had our a/c go out on us on a Saturday in mid July in the St. Louis heat and Beloman sent out someone first thing Monday to check it out. It turns out our outdoor unit was original when the house was built which was 40 years ago so it desperately needed to be replaced. Jerry H. came by to inspect everything and had our unit ordered that morning and we had our install on Friday by Kyle S. Both men were very courteous and professional and we had a nice cool house by that evening! We also noticed we had brown recluse spiders in the house, EEK and had them take care of that as well that same week. I would recommend Beloman to anyone who is in need of air conditioning, plumbing, heating and pest control. We are now lifelong customers! (See More)

Just a note. These folks came out, priced a new furnace for me when my 26 year old one died. got an install date within 6 days of me having financing. Showed up on time on target. Got it in and the old one out in 7 hours for the price quoted AND swept the basement floor afterwards. From the first day with Jerry estimating the cost to replace the 66 year old radiant heat boiler and with Ken P showing up on time and explaining all he was doing to replace the boiler in my home, I knew I was dealing with highly skilled, polite and friendly professionals at BEL-O. Without a doubt Jerry had us at hello. From the moment he entered our home to give us an estimate to replace our furnace and AC, Jerry was respectful of our property and of our time. He was informative, friendly, professional, and efficient. And he wore shoe covers upon entering our home which no other company did that we invited in for estimates. ( A small thing yes, but important to us. In fact, that one simple act of respect would have tipped the scales for us if anyone else would have even come close to the service Belo provided us.) Andy and Jacob were were kind, prompt, professional, and efficient and installed our new Carrier unit in one day as estimated. They took care of our property and left our home clean and undamaged after the project was complete. We would 100% recommend the Belo team for your heating and cooling needs. For our heating system, we have a boiler that heats water, then hot water flows through baseboard pipes in each room to radiate the heat. I always thought this system was uncommon, as we could Never find any HVAC company that knew how to work on boilers, & thus spent 7 years limping through winter w/ unreliable heating as a result. We quickly came to dread winter after always fighting each day to keep the house above 55 degrees using expensive space heaters. Not only was Jerry happy to come check it out himself, he was Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, & reassuring in every regard concerning how out new boiler would operate & how to get help should the need arise in the future. He understood all of our concerns after going so long w/o reliable heat, & was Most Accommodating in answering All my questions about the system & financing. I HIGHLY Recommend Him & BelO both!!! Furthermore, I’d like to Thank John Krieg as well, the serviceman who installed our new boiler. From start to finish, John was prompt, extremely courteous, & very thorough in ensuring that our new boiler was installed correctly & integrated efficiently into our existing pipe system, & also Happily & Thoroughly Helpful in answering all my questions regarding the system. I had an other person lined up to do my heating and cooling. That person backed out on a Thursday, because he said there was to much paper work to fill out. I called Beloman Friday and Jerry was able to make an appointment for me Monday morning. He was great, came in and made an estimate for replacing the furnace and installing an air conditioner. I accepted the bid and he was able to have the paper work i needed later that day. Scott and Jacob were great. They were scheduled for 8:00 am. and got to my house at 7:30 am and were there until just before 5:00 pm. They went above and beyond their job in my house which had no ac and on a 100 degree day. All three men were very polite and always thanking me for my business. I highly recommend them to any one. Very polite and professional, and all round good guys. Great company, great service, and the best techs in the area. We have used Bell-O for over 20 years. No problems. Had latest PM done (there twice a year inspection set up is the best) and told service man that the AC didn't work. After checking out system gave us the bad news, compressor dead. Jerry came out and gave us our options, we decided to replace and set up time. Andy and Jim Came on time, put down clothes to protect our floors and then removed old unit and put in a new unit. Plus answered all of our questions. The old unit was put in by Bell-O 21 years ago. Not bad for an unit that only is expected to last 15 years. (See More)

Jerry came to our house early on Saturday morning. He was a wonderful rep for the company. We hadn't been in the house long and wanted to make sure our HVAC system was properly set up and didn't have any obvious flaws...our power bill had been higher than we had expected and there was a very uneven heat distribution. He reviewed our system setup and took several readings. He identified several flaws in our current set up but gave us his honest appraisal that fixing the flaws would cost a lot more than any benefit gained by it would bring. He could have tried to sell us an expensive upgrade but choose to give up other cost-saving ideas. We appreciated his frank and honest review. He answered all of our questions including offering suggestions to make things more energy efficient when we get to the point where we need to replace the system. (See More)

Upon moving in two years ago, our home inspector told us that the humidifier connected to our HVAC system was broken and that we'd need a new one. I tested it myself and it seemed to turn on, but the parts seemed extremely corroded, so I left it alone. Fast forward two years. Our house had been very dry, and me, my wife, and kids were experiencing the effects of it, so I decided to call Beloman to get a quote on either replacing the parts or getting a totally new unit. The receptionist transferred me to Jerry, who answered all my questions and offered to come out and take a look at the unit a few days later. He not only called to confirm the appointment the day prior to the appointment but was also right on time the day of. After taking a quick look at the unit, he determined that the unit was in fine, working order and that it only needed a new filter. We live right down the street, so he made a call back to the office to let them know exactly which one we'd need so that I could be in and out when I went to pick it up. The service charge was going to be $60, and although he was only there a total of 10 minutes, I reached for my wallet because fair is fair. I'd also like to add that I'm active duty military. With a sincere "Thanks for what you do, I appreciate you," he told me to put my wallet away and simply asked us to consider him and the company in the future when we had any issues. This was beyond generous and much appreciated given it was also a week before Christmas. I'd highly recommend Jerry and his team. Not only because of the discount he gave us, but because we were totally ignorant to what was wrong with our unit; he could have upsold us on another thousand dollar unit, but instead provided us great customer service and advice on extending the life of our current one. Two months later and no nosebleeds anymore. Thanks so much, Jerry. We'll definitely be repeat customers in the future if we need you. (See More)

Jerry, Andy, Jacob and Val from bel o did an excellent job getting me a new heater and air conditioner installed in my trailer. basically did most of the job in a little over a day. they were helpful in providing me with pre day instructions on what would be done and then literally in 1 day got everything done. He determined that they do not need to be cleaned. He was a very honest and nice man that didn’t force me into anything that I didn’t need. Having an air conditioner break is never fun: it's a substantial unexpected expense and usually comes at a time where the need for cooling and humidity reduction is the greatest. Also, it's a substantial expense! That said, what should a person expect? If a repair job by a handyman is selected, then one gets what one pays for. If a person opts in favor of an established company selling quality products, the expectation is it that a job should be done professionally and in a reasonable time-frame, and that the customer should feel good about both the hardware quality and workmanship. Describing the expectation is important because BELOMAN exceeded it in almost every regard. 1) They use Carrier systems, which was the brand of condenser I replaced. Not only are the new units much nicer (despite not being top-of-the-line or anything fancy), but the coil inside my house is MUCH nicer. The original home manufacturer used a generic coil on the inside, which is the only kind I'd ever seen, so the complete Carrier system was nicer than my expectations. 2) When they arrived to do the install, there were two complications: that the unit wouldn't fit on the house-bracket (so it needed the ground plate) and that the nice inside coil was a bit wider and needed custom transitions to fit properly. No problem for BELOMAN! They had the common base on-hand, and metal workers took measurements, coming back from their shop with perfectly sized adapters to complete the professional installation. 3) My home has two furnaces, so I was quoted two days to complete the installation (two A/Cs onto existing furnaces). Additionally, I was informed that the personnel could not complete the outdoor soldering and electrical work if there were thunderstorms. Knowing that storms were predicted for the second installation day, two extra people arrived in the morning to accelerate the installation! This all-hands-on-deck approach (including someone who I overheard mentioning that he could only help for an hour before he had to be at another appointment) was truly exceptional. I'm sure don't always have capacity to do that, but to know that they will when they can. 4) As my air conditioning was failing, I had researched many methods to try and keep my house cooler. This left me with several questions about how best to use the new system moving forward. They took ample time to answer them and look at various ducts about which I had questions. They did not, at any point, seem rushed or bothered by taking the time to help me. In addition, they provided thoughtful responses that made me appreciate their time and knowledge (and they still finished ahead of schedule)! 5) The person who came to the house also did a great job listening to my needs and designing a solution that would accommodate. 6) On top of all this, they were genuinely nice people. They were mindful of my dog when coming in and out of the house (petting him plenty), and even asked about the project I was working on in my garage. Together, all this made me feel that the whole team really was invested in me, my home, and of course my air conditioning. I don't know if there's anything else they could have done to make the experience more enjoyable. Jerry came out to our house on Saturday morning to check out our ducts to see if they need to be cleaned as we have recently moved in. He explained everything he was looking for and what he was seeing in detail and gave us a bunch of other helpful hints to improve the air quality in our home. In the end, Jerry said we did not need to have the ducts cleaned which I appreciated as a lot of companies will just perform a service to take a check from you. I am very pleased with the service I received from Bel-O. Jerry was very kind to put up with the interruptions that occurred during his visit. He just kept doing his bid work without me until I was free. Ken P. and Andy were wonderful during the installation. I hardly even saw them. They just worked quietly and efficiently all day. I was amazed that Ken was able to install our new thermostat so that no touch-up painting was required. I must commend the whole company for doing A GREAT JOB. (See More)

My technician was Jerry. He was very professional and provided a lot of helpful tips for improving our in-home air quality. Most of them we were able to implement right away without any additional costs. Jerry's advice helped me in making decisions concerning our thermostat and whole house humidifier. I had a whole house generator installed by Beloman about a month ago. It got tested this weekend during a huge storm when Ameren Illinois reported over 1900 customers without power. But not me! My generator smoothly transitioned from no power to generator and then back to local power with no problems. And I had power for the whole 4 hours everyone else was without. Got my new whole house generator from Beloman and it was truly tested this past Saturday during a big storm when Ameren Ilinois reported that 1900 customers were without power. But not me! I called Belo and spoke with Jerry (VP Residential Sales) about a mild odor coming from our vents. I told him we already had the air ducts and coils cleaned the previous fall. He volunteered to come out and take a look around and see if there was anything they could do to assist. A couple days later Jerry arrived as scheduled. He walked through our house and asked some questions. He looked at our whole HVAC system and said that it looked great and he wouldn't recommend we do anything besides deodorize our system. Based upon prior experiences with other HVAC companies *cough cough Spengler*, when Jerry initially suggested he come out to take a look I was fully expecting the hard sale on an entire new HVAC. Jerry provided the exact opposite, a honest evaluation of our system and a recommendation that was best for us, not for Belo. For his honesty, Jerry has earned my business in the future when I do actually need a new system. Thanks again Jerry. (See More)
