Could not ask for a better company t0 deal with a little pricey but service more than made up for it Cindy in the office very sweet very professional explained everything up front to excellent customer service if I need to call Aiello again I would request her help Clay arrived right in the middle of the appt window and actually said he was sorry for being late but hit traffic in Waterbury which is normal I brought him in showed the furnace explained what I did he also explained the charges again like Cindy very professional he found what was wrong made the repair and was in and out within a half-hour time period In my opinion these two employees are excellent examples of your business they are keepers and when it comes time for raises they deserve good One pleasure doing business with you especially thanks to these 2 employees thankyou (See More)

When Cindy N answered the phone we were quickly able to agree on a time for a service person to come out to look at my mom's toilet plumbing in her 1949 house (original plumbing). The upstairs toilet had flapper issues and a frozen water valve. The downstairs toilet was intermittently having flapper issues. Michael R and his trainee Nelson were prompt and able to fix the issues (which included turning off and on the inside water main that was also frozen). The jobs were completed satisfactorily within an hour and a half. Mike also identified that the water heater was in need of replacement in the future so that we could budget for a new one. They were very pleasant, told us what they were doing, and kept to the price quoted. (See More)

Ray is so thorough and knowledgeable. You just KNOW your mechanicals are going to be in good hands when Ray shows up. He is great at making technical HVAC stuff understandable. He is just a great guy and a top-notch professional. And if Cindy is the Cindy who joined Aiello long ago (and is married to Fred), well, she could and probably does run the place with blindfolds on and one hand tied behind her back. Cindy has been around so long she should be getting stock options by now! And if she doesn't, then she needs a huge raise, too. If I have the wrong Cindy, my apologies! Stephen arrived on ahead of scheduled and was very courteous. First thing that really caught my attention was that he didn't enter our home without putting on protective coverings for his work shoes...This was our first service/tuneup call to Aiello for our furnace. Stephen performed a few test on our system, and reviewed the numbers that he received through his instruments...No adjustments were made to correct any issues or concerns that we had... We were given a quote to replace some of the items that he felt needed to be replaced or defective. The amount we were quoted seem very high and this lead to another appointment being scheduled to evaluate for a replacement system. It is my belief that the initial quote that was given was to encourage us to replace the entire system, which leads me to believe that the checkup was just a ploy to see if we would upgrade..Yes our system was installed in 1988 but we have had no problems other than the ones that I explained to Stephen...I agree that we might need to replace with a more energy efficient system but the tactics used don't sit well with me at all...Okay we will find out the cost of a replacement system tomorrow...If all goes well and if the price is right,we might consider an upgrade...Hopefully the so call check/tuneup amount we paid will be deducted if we upgrade..Thanks (See More)

I had a great experience. I called around 11am regarding a leaking garbage disposal. They came, fixed it, and were gone by 12:30. Bobby and Nick came in (with their shoe covers), took a look, sat down and explained to me what they thought should be done, including writing up the preliminary line-item invoice, and I approved it. They got to work and replaced the collar, seal and putty. It cost what they had estimated. I know most plumbing problems aren't as simple as this one, but still, they were very courteous, clean and quick. It's a by-the-book operation and I felt comfortable that the process and prices were not just being made up on the spot. They did not try to sell me a new disposal. I will definitely call them again. Cindy was actually the nicer of the 3 agents we dealt with. We needed a plumber to do a targeted inspection after our home inspection turned up red flags. The 1st agent interrupted me midsentence to tell me I could not book the estimate/inspection because I did not own the home yet. Ok 2nd agent (Cindy), after clarifying we only wanted inspection and estimate, tried to get us set up for an inspection and estimate. We were called back by the 3rd agent (Britney) to be cancelled on and told we needed the owner to set up the appt. ok. We gave the owner's number with the explicit instructions that he was to be told that WE were paying, he just needed to give us access and set up the appt. instead he was told that he had to pay, of course he said no and is now potentially annoyed with us (I would be) which might create issues going forward I'm furious with Aiello. Have left a Yelp review and will be posting to social media as well. Avoid! (See More)

When I have a problem, whether plumbing or electrical, Aiello is the place I call. This week my husband blew a circuit in my aunt's house trying to change out some lighting fixtures. Sandy helped me when I placed the call and Matt was my technician. They were both very helpful. Matt was at my house at the early end of my time window and the work was completed quickly at a fair price. Once again, Aiello took care of my problem quickly and professionally. (See More)

From intake to delivery of repair and maintenance services, Aiello has been our "go to" company. We have considered smaller companies as well as home improvement stores but the one to one customer service of Aiello surpassing them all. You get what you pay for these days. Aiello charges a little more, but we are well taken care of from start to finish. Today Matt and Nick came to my home and replaced my circuit breakers. I called and they were there! I also appreciated Amanda's very pleasant demeanor and kindness on the telephone in the scheduling process. Go Amanda! Matt and Nick replaced the circuit breakers and did a nice job. A exorbitant sum for two hours work and parts that certainly don't retail for hundreds of dollars. First of all, Stephen was great. I would give him 5 stars if this was only a review of Stephen's job. He seems very experienced and knowledgeable technician. Stephen was able to identify the problem quickly and performed the repairs right away. I was also very happy that I was able to get service the same day I called. The reason I gave only 3 stars is the price I was charged for the service. I paid a total of almost $400 when the part's cost is no more than $40 (verified from multiple sources). Because of this, next time I will look for a more reasonable option. (See More)

The free estimate cost me over $100.00, so be careful when you set it up. Of the three estimates I received, Aiello's was the highest by a margin of 30%. If you do hire them consider if you are willing to pay a 30% premium for what they advertise. Keep in mind I was promised a free estimate that cost me over $100.00 I had rust in my water, the plumber tried to sell me a new hot water heater among other fixes because he rationalized that is where the rust is coming from. Hot water heaters have a glass bottle where the water is stored - rust in glass? I don't think so, I have well water, sediments can cause rust. BE AWARE OF SCAMS (See More)

Be careful when the receptionist tell you that their estimates are free. My free estimate actually cost me $117.00. When asked to speak to a manager there was a deafening silence on the other end, no return call as yet. I did get 2 other estimates from local reputable companies and Aiello's was 30% higher. I question whether their poor service commands a 30% premium over other providers, especially if management does not see the need to return a phone call - will they return a call if you have issues after the service? If they do return the call and make amends in a timely fashion I will update this post. (See More)

Well let's see, Vaccuming out the furnace was what I thought was part of the service now additional charge over and above the monthly charge, if you need to go up, then go you go up on the charge. Checking the valve also a additional charge if it fails which in most situations it will fail. Between the valve being made in China and MDC water being no as clean. That valve has failed before and will fail again. I think we will be looking at the competion to see what they are offering for next year. (See More)

The tech wouldn t listen. All I needed was a washer replaced in my bathtub faucet. I do not own tool to get handle off or I would of done it myself. The tech kept telling me he was going to have to replace entire set up, even though I told him 4 times if he replaces washer it will work fine. He wouldn t do it, so I had to tell him to leave and they still charged me $80. I will never use them again, and on a side note another very nice plumbing company came, changed washer and only charged me $39, half price, and they actually completed the job I asked them to do!!!!!! The problem was not fixed. We where charged around $400 for tightening the toilet, however the leak continued. After looking ourselves around the house we discovered that the leak was coming from the laundry and not from the toilet as we were told. In summary, the problem was mot investigated thoroughly enough and the leak was not located correctly. (See More)

Clay C was courteous and professional. In all the years I had my furnace cleaned by other companies, no one ever mentioned the effeciency rate of the furnace. He was considerate to leave insulation from the attic around the house after working on the airconditioning. He also gave me an idea of how long he would be working so I could plan my day around the service. (See More)
