Lori was great on the phone. Mike was courteous, pleasant, and efficient. He arrived 15 minutes early. Our commode was leaking. He replaced a washer kit between tank and bowl, and also the water supply valve. At a local hardware store, the parts cost less than $25. We had agreed to pay the weekend service call rate of $125. Mike was in the house ~35-40 minutes. The total charge was over $925 !!!
Aiello had charged us $550 to replace a kitchen sink disposal 2 years ago. (retail cost $125).
They have a tremendous labor cost.
I suggest discussing costs BEFORE you agree to have a service call or any work done. (See More)

We called Aiello for yearly maintenance of our hot water heater and furnace. Shawn F. was extremely courteous and went out of his way to answer questions about the work he was performing as well as other services from Aiello we were thinking about. He was knowledgeable and competent and offered recommendations/advice about proper air filters for allergens as well as CO detectors. The hot water heater was acting up both before and after the maintenance so Shawn came back a few days later to help pinpoint the problem, and given that the heater is old he was also able to provide detailed information about types of replacements, approximate cost, pros and cons of different models and the work involved in terms of installation. Lorie and Steve were very professional. Lorie kept us in the loop when the plumber was held up later than expected. When we needed to re-schedule Lorie adjusted our service fee. Quick convenient service BUT I feel that I got way overcharged on a capacitor. I was charged over $200 for this part that online is less than $50. Will not be using your service again unless there is an immediate problem with the part that was installed. (See More)

I know you have a big company and a lot of expenses, but I do feel your prices are a bit high and, therefore, somewhat uncompetitive with other providers in the area. Of course, since there aren't many big and varied companies like yours, our other option is to use a small business which naturally can do most jobs cheaper (but not always better). (See More)

Mike Kubish was terrific. As it turns out we grew up in the same neighborhood in Newington and had plenty to share with each other at the end of his work assignment. Just like Joe and Rocco on the plumbing side, Mike is a great ambassador for Aiello. All of my experiences with Aiello over the years have been enjoyable, and every Tech or CSR has been very pleasant as well as exceptionally professional. Also let's not forget about Tim Lynch, the Comfort Adviser who went above and beyond to make sure we had the right Heating and Cooling System installed in 2005 to enhance extreme customer satisfaction. Aiello Home Services is an outstanding example of what an exceptionally well run business is all about.
