Andy visited our home today for a furnace check. He was friendly and personable and took proper Covid precautions while in our home. He explained to us what was needed to be done to keep our furnace and humidifier working properly through the winter months. He
replaced the humidifier filter as the old one was corroded.He also installed batteries in our thermostat, which I didn’t know one had to do. He pointed out something that might become a problem and told us to keep an eye on it as our furnace is 14 years old. He was very thourough and professional. (See More)

I recently had a critical "no air conditioning" call to AA Service company for my 94 and 95 year old parent's house. They put on a high priority and had a service technician come the next day. Excellent service! The technician was Andy *********. He discovered multiple problems with the 33 year old air conditioner. He immediately fixed a leak and discovered a broken circuit panel. He could have ordered a part and brought in a few days. But no, he insisted on immediately going to an electrical shop to get this part. He did not want to leave my 94/95 year old parents with no AC. He understood the urgency. He made this a priority. He took ownership. He went into immediate action despite being behind on other jobs. He worked this job for over three hours to get the AC going again. Wow...what an outstanding job for someone who REALLY CARES. Thank you Andy!! Andy arrived at our home about 4:20pm and said he knew when he came to the front door what the problem was as he could hear the furnace. We went down to verify and he immediately called the Carrier parts store, knowing it was a Friday afternoon and they would be closing shortly to see if they had the inducer assembly needed. He then asked if I was okay if he left and went to get the part before the Carrier store closed. He returned, installed the inducer assembly, cleaned everything up and was on his way. Andy is one of the several technicians from AA Service Co., that have been to our home over the years and the guys are always professional, explain what they are doing and clean everything up before they leave. Andy came out to our house to fix a humidifier that is attached to our furnace. He noticed that there was something not right with our water heater. After investigating, he found that our chimney was blocked. The chimney sweep came and told me that not only were we lucky that we didn't have a fire, but that nothing was being vented and Carbon Monoxide was getting into our house! Andy did a great job in fixing my furnace. He got my furnace up and running on the first visit, even though there were parts needing replacing. When the new parts came in, Andy returned and neatly finished the job. He was always courteous, upbeat and willing to answer any questions. He left the place neat and clean, and even remembered to turn off the basement lights. He put on shoe covers each time he came back into the house from the service truck. Andy was careful to explain how he was handling the work, so there were no surprises. I appreciate his expertise and his being so thorough.

I have been a customer of AA Service for over 30 years because they take care of their customers like family. I called AA on Saturday, May 26, when the temperature in my house was 86... and rising. We had a new system installed in December when the temps were around 18 degrees. The new AC system needed to be started up and properly charged and pressurized before first use. I had scheduled an appt in mid May to do that prior to the summer warm up but had to cancel that appt because the temps that day were around 45 and still too cold to properly set the system. We rescheduled for May 29. No problem, right? May can be chilly or moderate so I thought, we're good! However, the heat wave hit with August temps in the low 90s 5 days before my rescheduled May 29 AC start up appt! I called to see if there was any possibility of an emergency visit to get us up and running or we'd be sleeping at a motel for a couple nights! It was getting unbearable in the house. Who expects 90s in May?? While waiting for Andy to check the schedule, on the the phone, he says " Open your front door." He had magically appeared at my house while I was waiting on the phone, like an angel of mercy!! It was awesome! He got us up and running and we gleefully watched the temperatures in our home drop to a comfy 78! Ahhhhhh! Thank you Andy! You are amazing! That is the kind of service that AA Service provides. My service technician, Andy, is definitely in the first category. This was my first experience with AA Service. Everyone, and I mean everyone I spoke with from the first call taken at the office to saying so long and thank you to Andy today was upbeat, courteous, and genuinely seemed proud to work for AA. A few comments about Andy: He was the first person in over 15 years to change the murky-looking tube feed from my humidifier! He also showed me how the pad in my AprilAire had not been changed in a very long time--even though I was told it was each year by my prior service company and was charged for it, too! Andy took the time to explain clearly and in detail the hows and whys to best run my furnace and humidifier to maximum efficiency (this was compliment to me, as workmen often are dismissive when I ask questions with brief responses or may feel I am incapable of understanding their explanations). Although Andy had 6 other calls to make today, he never rushed or that he couldn't wait to get to his next call. On another note, Andy is a very charitable person. He puts in a lot of time an effort at this time of year with the donations collected from his off-road Jeep group for the Toys for Tots/Coat Off Your Back Marine charity. How wonderful it would be if all service providers were as proud of their company as AA Service Co is and each of us were of Andy's integrity. (See More)

I wanted to let you know about your exceptional service on Saturday. I arrived home at 5pm and my house was 78 degrees and going up, even though the air conditioning was on. My porch thermometer read 80 degrees. It was unusually hot for this time of year with the promise of more to come. I called the emergency number as the office was closed. They called back quickly, given the fact that it was Saturday, and I was so grateful. In a relatively short time I received a call for your technician saying he would be at my home within the next 30 minutes, and he arrived as promised. Andy was pleasant, helpful, efficient and effective, got the air conditioner working, advised me on the future possibilities for it, and showed me pictures of the damage that had occurred. I have used your company for many years and have always had polite good service, but Saturday was exceptional. Many companies promise good service and actuality have catchers catch can, but that has never been true of AA Service. So I wanted to compliment your office, your service people, and particularly Andy who made a difficult situation a pleasant and satisfactory experience. (See More)

What a great technician. Andy was here for 3 hours because we were experiencing leakage from our humidifier. He located the problem as a non-working pump and drain hose that was shot. With difficulty he fed a new hose down from the humidifier into our crawl space where the drain and pump were located. I couldn't count the number of times he went back and forth from the furnace room to the crawl space, but persisted and finally resolved the problem. In addition, he was able to determine that our air conditioning A coil was rusted and shot, as well as the humidifier pump in the crawl space. Andy has been here before so he knew the layout of our house. All of the AA technicians are expert and Andy was the best. (See More)

Yesterday was time for our semi-annual maintenance of our Heating/Cooling system. After the Gas Company turned off our service because there were leaks in the system, I contacted AA Service and asked them to send Andy C back to do the work. I talked with Andy and told him that the person from the North Shore gas had not marked the leaks but had shown them tome. Andy came out and did a great job repairing the leaks, He pointed out that the work had not been done using all black pipe, He replaced as much of the job with black pipe and with new tun off valves. The person who returned from North Shore gas said we did not have a large enough space for him to turn on both hot water heaters and Furnace. He relit the one hot water heater and disconnected the job Andy had done on the furnace and other hot water heater. Andy stuck around and reconnected the Furnace and hot water heater and then relit the pilot lights. In short he was a real godsend to us in getting the heat restored to our home. (See More)

Andy Choyinski from AA Service came out to do an annual air conditioning maintenance check. Andy changed the air filter on our furnace and poured in clorox to make sure that the drain pipe was running clean.. He then checked other parts of the furnace as well. He also checked the thermostat to make sure it was running properly. Finally, he cleaned the compressor and checked to make sure that it was operating properly. Andy was friendly and polite during his entire time with us.
The reason that I signed te maintenance agreement with AA Service is because of the polkite professional service that technicians like Andy have always provided. (See More)

My technician arrived within the time window I was informed of on the day I made the appointment, he also called when he was on his way and gave me a rough estimate of his expected arrival time. AA Service Co. is beyond exceptional. There should be 100 more stars to rate it so. On a super hot sunday, my air conditioner blew. Had been a "ultimate Advantage Club" member for years with a different company. Honestly, I had had a bad feeling of being "taken" by their outrageous pricing for even the simplist work.
As I am a professional harpist, I needed the air working asap to protect my intruments. Aftet waiting ALL day for prior co. to show up, which they did, finally,at 8 pm, (11 lost harp strings), was told the needed part was not on the truck as it was new and not stocked properly.
Called AA, they didnt know me from Adam, they came at 10.30 p.m on a sunday night!!!! Wow!
Turns out it was not a "part" needed at an exceedingly high price from prior said co., but that my house had in fact been hit by lightening, wires burned, issues in the cicuits and the electric box, ect ect. A big job!
They called me at 7:30 the next morning, were here at 7:45, worked for 3 hours, and fixed it!
Andy and Joe were polite, professional, clearly masters of what turned out to be a rather complex problem, empathetic, and delightful.
The entirety of the bill from AA for all that work was significantly less than the tiny, misdiagnosed part I was initially quoted for. Lesson learned.
I am cancelling my sevice agreement with my previous company, and will forever more feel confident of the work, the pricing, and the integrity of AA.

We have used AA Service, in our 2-flat, since 2004 for the two boilers as well as two A/C units. Andy was fantastic despite the cold rainy weather attempting to thwart his efforts to perform a pre-season A/C check. On one of the A/C units a part had burned out involving some wires. Andy had the parts on his truck so was able to repair immediately. He was very precise and through in his inspection of the units. Although I am hardly an expert in heating and cooling, Andy seemed quite knowledgeable and capable to me. His explanations were clear as a bell. I knew I was in good hands. Andy C. came to service/clean out our AC and heating units. First off, Andy was really personable, friendly, and easy to talk to. He let me know where he would start first and what his plan was for the time he was here. He asked me questions as he went along - and informed me of what he was finding. Our units were SUPER dirty! Andy went above and beyond - he removed a piece from an air intake vent that vastly IMPROVED the air flow in the house. When he moved outside to the AC unit he found a mouse had created a little home inside the unit and had chewed through some of the wires. He cleaned the unit out - removed the mouse house and repaired the wires. When he turned the heat back on I was able to turn the heat from 71 down to 65 because of the adjustments he had made! AMAZING! Andy was really professional and knowledgeable. I felt like he enjoyed sharing his insight and expertise with me and I found that refreshing.
