Woke up with water on basement floor. Called for a new water tank about 0915 and had the service guy here about 1130. Kevin P was a very pleasant young man, who just settled in to remove old water tank and replace the new. The area he warmed in was cleaned up afterwards so you wouldn’t even know work had been done. Made a stressful situation much less stressful! Thanks so much for the fast and pleasant service. The receptionist on the phone was also extremely pleasant and helpful.

I needed my 30 years old Lennox furnace replaced and while looking for local suppliers and installers I came across Family Furnace. Made the call and had appointment with Ross to come to my house. He was very professional and understood my needs. He explained everything that needs to be done and I was very happy with his presentation. Made a decision to go with Furnace Family. The new furnace came and was installed by Jeremy and his assistance. They did a very good job. Two weeks later I decided to get a whole house humidfier installed and called Ross. He took care that for me and was installed by Kevin who was very knowledgeable and knew what he is doing. He explained how it works and how I can monitor it all from the S30 thermostat. Overall I am very happy with the Furnace Family and I feel I am in good hands. My neighbor after he saw their truck by my house he came and ask me if I am getting my furnace replaced and after I told him how a great job they did a month later he got his replaced by Family Furnace.

On this week of March 16 I needed a new furnace. So 2 guys arrived to do the installation. Their names are Drew & Mark. 2 guys that know their stuff. Very knowledgeable. Worked very hard to to the best job possible. I went from a freezing house to one now that is toasty. I’m very happy with the choice I made. Dave L was my set up person. Responded immediately to an emergency furnace situation on the coldest day in February. Could not repair my old furnace but fixed it temporarily to the point where I had some heat. Technician was on time for a new furnace and new water heater installation and finished the installation all in one day. Asked the technician a favor to loosen the anode rod for the water heater and greased the threads with pipe dope so that it will be easier to replace years later when its required which he gladly helped. He took a before and after pic of the job and everything looked great. Good job!

I had my furnace & hot water tank installed 4 weeks ago. I waited to post a review until the process was complete. I can’t say enough positive about my experience with Furnace Family! I am an exacting client, meaning that I hold companies to deliver what they promise. I expect quality of product, competitive pricing & exceptional client service from the first phone call & at every step. I vet companies before even requesting a quote. (honestly, the tone of the ‘blah blah blah’ radio ad almost took them off my list to call but after hearing company president, Derek speaking on a ‘talk to the experts’ interview I was impressed so called them after-all) From the start they were professional, friendly, accommodating, non-pressure & transparent. The initial estimate with Jaime was informative & thorough. He asked questions about my needs, wants & budget. He presented a choice of three products that met those needs. Knowing I was taking more estimates, Jaime left me with a very clear breakdown of the quote & info on each product. At no point did I feel condescended towards or the pressure of an up-sell. I made the choice to work with Furnace Family but found myself in an unexpected time crunch. The roofing company was coming in a few days & informed me that they wanted the chimney cap repair complete before they started. I msg'd Jaime, he arranged the install for the next day! Speaking with the office to set up the details I experienced the same level of professionalism & friendliness that I had experienced with Jaime. The next morning, I received a text with the name & photo of the lead installer for my reference. Moments after the text Kevin called confirming that he was on schedule. Kevin & Tyler arrived right on time. They were both professional, polite & friendly. We did a walk around the furnace room; discussed the installation details, the new positioning of the equipment, venting needs etc. Dave, the electrician arrived to install the new thermostat, we discussed the new placement & the equipment. Before leaving he showed me what he’d done & how to use the new system. I think the day took a bit longer than anticipated because of the age of the house & some of the complications that come with that, but I was here all day & never felt intruded upon in my home. If something was out of the ordinary, they communicated with me but otherwise they just carried about their work. I enjoyed listening to them banter like actual brothers; they were relaxed & having fun without ever losing their professionalism; this says a lot to me about a company. Once complete, Kevin & Tyler walked me through everything they’d done. Gave detailed instructions on furnace & hot water tanks, the venting systems & what to expect from the city inspector. Everything was cleaned up & both units look like they’d always been there. Payment with a CC was a simple process right at my home with no added fees or surprises. Companies are made of people & mistakes happen. How concerns are managed speaks to a company’s depth. I gave the system a week to be sure everything was running smoothly. I found a couple of small adjustments were needed so sent a text to Kevin. He & Tyler were here in less than 24 hrs. Adjustments made, questions answered & I had the same friendly, professional service I’ve grown to expect from them. The office emailed me saying that they had submitted the paperwork for the permit & the rebates on my behalf. When they sent me the permit number it even included foolproof instructions on how to get the city inspection complete; literally all I had to do was make the appointment & do the walk through, Furnace Family did everything else. Dave the estimator was very thorough, and was honest about what we needed and why. He also caught a few issues our new house had that the inspector missed, and made sure the guys installing the furnace and hot water heater would fix them. He also sent out the electrician, Dave, to look at some electrical problems. All of this at no extra cost. The electrician, Dave, was great. He swapped out a couple of plugs that were dangerous, filled in a few holes in our panel, and talked me through the renos to come at no extra cost. Jay and Monty, the installers, were fantastic. They moved the hot water tank and gas line to save us room in the basement, fixed a broken vent, and installed both items very quickly and efficiently, without mess. Fantastic company.

Dave not only matched/beat all the other offers, gave me a bigger furnace and hot water tank, he also explained things to me patiently. He answered all my questions before and after the installation promptly. They did a wonderful job for my parents' house two years ago. I have them installed my furnace and hot water tank this time. I will recommend you give Dave a call at Furnace Family. Not like many other companies who will only come during the day time, Dave came to do the estimation in the evening, and installed my furnace and tank on Saturday without extra cost.

We had a very positive experience with furnace family. All of the employees that we interacted with were friendly, kind and efficient. We were especially impressed with Monty and Jay; they installed a new hot water tank so carefully and quietly that my toddler and baby stayed asleep the entire time they were here, and there was no mess for me to clean up after they left. We had one minor issue with the tank after the installation, and Richard showed up very soon after we called, dealt with it and offered us some great advice about our furnace. We will definitely be using this company again.
