I am not on face book and not that great on the computer in these more modern techniques and/or programs. Tom is great! He has been here several times and is always pleasant, very good at what he does and I am happy to see him--that is when I need a serviceman. He never complains just goes about his work and does what has to be done. As a woman I appreciate when he gives me advice on what to do in situations. I cannot say enough or give him enough credit. Began using Oehlert in 2014 for our 30 year old Columbia Oil fired boiler and baseboard heating system. Had trouble getting enough hot water for showers and so Mark Derix had the techs terminate the original hot water system in the boiler and install a new Bradford White electric water heater in 2015. In addition, we had an old oil tank which was dripping so Mark had them remove the old tank and replace it with a new Granby EcoGard tank with at a discounted price.Also, have a Gold Star Plus service contract which includes annual checkups and inspections. Just completed a full service call where Tom V and Jim D cleaned our system, installed a new motor, expansion tank, and water inlet valve all at no additional charge. System was pressurized and aquastat was reset. Excellent workmanship and expertise. Will continue to utilize their service as long as we own this house. Thanks! (See More)

I'm very disappointed that I was charged $149 on my credit card without being told. You guys did come out to look at the heater but performed no service. And expect me to use you guys to put in a whole new heater? I'm pretty sure I can get free estimates from anywhere. I will be contacting my CC company to dispute this charge. (See More)

Oehlert's has been pretty good to me over the years. I had two issues that almost pushed me to drop their services but there are more good guys (all the girls are wonderful) than bad guys so they get 4 out of 5 stars. If a certain person was to retired or move to a different company, I'd give them 10 stars. The Gold Star program for heating and AC is so worth it. They even installed an attic fan - two so far. Shout out to Tom V. Mark D and his son and Lee. They've done the most work at my house. Oh!! The free chimney inspection! Set my mind at ease. (See More)
