Have used this company to service my older a/c unit for the past few years. The first time was an emergency call that they handled promptly. I signed up for the maintenance program and received regular service from Chris N. The last few years, my machine was laboring. I got one more year, meanwhile Chris N continued to recommend replacement. I pulled the trigger this year, had an informative inspection by Chris Z, and decided to go with their proposal. The installation team of Matt and Devin showed up promptly on time ( actually even a bit early) and did a very neat job with the installation. Everything was cleaned up well after. Christos was a great technician. He was able to go through my system and present options in a very professional manner. I reached out to Morris heating and air conditioning as a potential new customer looking to add a humidifier to my HVAC system. Google had this company rated as a top provider in my area so I figured I would give them a shot. I previously signed up with Cranney when my AC died this past summer and the experience was OK - nothing too memorable (other than it taking all day and having to pay extra because they had to go pick up a different part). Christos checked out my system and measured humidity in my house before just moving forward and selling me something I might not actually need. He determined that I may not need it after some adjustments and that I should hold off a week to make sure. That alone gained my trust in the company. Christos recommended I do the annual maintenance program to make sure my system stays up and running properly. I accepted his recommendation without hesitation because of the rapport he was able to build. Definitely happy with this company and I would recommend to anyone looking for HVAC service or installation. Hopefully all the technicians provide this level of experience! (See More)

Yesterday, August 29, 2018 the North Shore of MA was hit with some sort of "Brown Out" as temperatures were approaching 100 degrees. Power went down mid-day in many towns closing schools and malls etc. When the power came back on my gallery's and home's Central Air Unit was blown. Obviously from some sort of electrical surge. I called my usual service company and while they were understanding they could not provide service for a day or two. Even though I explained that the inside temperature was already at 85 degree and rising. Around 4PM I called Morris Heating and AC. I thought at this point I would reach out to everyone. Christos called me back within 20 mins. He asked me to describe the issue. He told me he would be over in 20 mins and to the second he came over. On quick inspection he discovered that the capacitor had blown due to the surge. He brought one with him suspecting this to be the issue, replaced it and everything was back to normal. The response time was amazing but so was Christos' troubleshooting even before he arrived. Well done Morris!! (See More)

With the recent heat spell this week I attempted to turn on my A/C. It would not produce cold air. Since my service provider was not available I started looking for another. I contacted Morris Heating and A/C since they had an excellent rating and were close by. They sent Chris by the same day. It took about an hour but, Chris diagnosed the problem. The A/C was fine. He determined that there was not voltage to run the unit. It turned out the electrical contractor who had recently installed a new sub panel at house had mis-wired the circuit to my A/C. The electrical contractor came back the next day and fixed the mistake. My A/C is working again!!!
I have never worked with Morris before. This experience gave me confidence in their expertise. As a result, I signed up with them to be my HVAC service provider going forward. Thanks Chris!! (See More)

Chris was excellent and informed me of everything to prevent a possible shut down in the future. We woke up in the morning to a cold house my 3 year old LENNOX SYSTEM had failed. He found that the intake had sucked in a leaf or two from the fall foliage and he also replaced a sensor under warranty just to be sure. Can't begin to say enough good things about Chris' professionalism and knowledge when it came to repairing our Lennox furnace. We have had other technicians come to the house in the past and give a quick look and then offer up some suggested repair... we, as the homeowner, rely on their professionalism and knowledge... wrong!!! Chris came in, diagnosed the problem quickly, as the others, but proceeded to use the error codes being produced, his knowledge, and the phone support of the Lennox Technician to verify all the system errors and provide the surety that this was in fact the repair. He spent the time to get our furnace running on an 18 degree Friday evening, and he even checked with Lennox to verify that some of the needed repair part were covered under warranty. We had lost the original unit from mice moving in and really wanted to make sure the mice could not get into the replacement. They worked with us to install the new unit on an 18" stand to get it out of 'mice territory'. They said they would have someone out before 10am and they were there by 8:25am. Very pleased. Chris was kind, effective and efficient. Christos came to provide routine maintenance on my 2 year old heating system. (I had tried to use a prior heating company but they never returned my calls.) Christos was very thorough and must have paid attention to my comment that I set my upstairs' thermostat, very low, because it got so warm, compared to the 1st floor. After checking, he determined that the original wiring was not done correctly. Apparently, to my understanding, the downstairs' thermostat was operating off of the upstairs' thermostat. It is 24 hours, after the change. The upstairs is staying much cooler, so I can sleep better, and the downstairs is much more comfortable. I hope to learn that my heating bills will be lower, as well. Needless to say, I am extremely happy and intend to be a loyal customer. Christos was also punctual and respectful of my property. Morris installed and has serviced our heating and central air/humidifier system for the past 7 years. They have been excellent throughout. Responsive, courteous, reasonably priced, informative and helpful.
Most recently, Christos N. responded to a call next day, as scheduled and replaced a 7 year old capacitor in a matter of minutes. He could not have been more helpful and had several suggestions of things we could do to prolong the life of our system. Nice guy, couldn't have been more helpful, responsive and informative.

On 8 Aug 2016 The installers from Morris Heating & Air Conditioning John /Blaise arrived on time in company uniforms nice clean and very professional. They were here two full days and did a fantastic job. I have never seen two employees work so well together they are like a Swiss watch. I had many questions and both were very knowledgeable. The installation was perfect. Clean up perfect. We were showed total operation. At this time I request that Management give both these employees a pay increase because they are clearly an asset to your company. It is employees like these two that make a great company. We just had a new furnace and AC unit replaced at our home by Morris Heating and Air Conditioning of Ipswich,Ma. This required a major update from the original system. Major duct work, a 2 zone installation, new thermostats and some electrical and plumbing work. This was performed by a very professional team of Manny, Louie and Christos. They answered all our question, were courteous, thoughtful and very professional and had a clean work ethic. Also want to thank Andy Previte and Project Manager Eddie for their excellent follow through in overseeing the project.
