I had a room that didn't have heat due to what I thought was a clog in the pipe. I had a plumber/heating specialist to my house one day prior who gave me a verbal ballpark figure of $800 to start. I decided to call Aiello for a second opinion. I am so glad I made that call. They sent Clay C. to my house the next day. After less than an hour he diagnosed, fixed and explained the issue to me in layman's terms. Thanks to Clay and Aiello I will have heat in that room this winter and I saved over $700! The service and outcome were great but the communication from Breanna (sp?) and the office staff was fantastic. Going to have them out again for an oil burner tune up. (See More)

Both the Customer service rep and the tech that came out were very professional. Clay the tech was professional and got to my house early and got right to work on the issue. The one thing that surprised me was the cost of the part at $304.00. I did some online searches on the part installed and they ranged from $10.00 to $50.00 no were close to the price I paid. Aiello is persistent! Our furnace burner was not firing so we called Aiello for service. After a full morning visit and an afternoon service call by the gas company, the problem was still unresolved. A second service visit the next day finally found the problem. A spider had spun a thick web in one of the air intake tubes! That was cleared and our furnace was back. Aiello's persistence in diagnosing the problem (all under the 'Initial Diagnosis' fee), saved us a lot of money by NOT replacing parts willy nilly. Our Thanks to Aiello and their service techs. I woke up to find my gas furnace not working and I could not find the problem. I called Ailello because I had seen the TV commercials for their service. I was worried that I could not get someone out quickly. I talked to Crystal A., she looked and found a slot where I could be placed. About two hours later Clay C. came and diagnosed the problem and told me what my options were. Within a few minutes my furnace was as good as new, up and running. Could not ask for a better company t0 deal with a little pricey but service more than made up for it Cindy in the office very sweet very professional explained everything up front to excellent customer service if I need to call Aiello again I would request her help Clay arrived right in the middle of the appt window and actually said he was sorry for being late but hit traffic in Waterbury which is normal I brought him in showed the furnace explained what I did he also explained the charges again like Cindy very professional he found what was wrong made the repair and was in and out within a half-hour time period In my opinion these two employees are excellent examples of your business they are keepers and when it comes time for raises they deserve good One pleasure doing business with you especially thanks to these 2 employees thankyou (See More)

I woke up this morning and my furnace has gone out. I am chair mobile so this is an issue beyond what is "normal" for others with this kind of issue. Aiello had a technician out to my place in 30 mins. Clay was friendly, easy to talk with, knowlegdable and answered all my questions that I had. The price was very reasonable, especially considering how quickly they got to my place. My furnace is fixed, and this is now in my rearview mirror. Would recommend Aiello to anyone. I had made a stupid mistake and touched a switch on my thermostat which kept my A/C air handler running constantly. I did not notice the mistake, so I requested a service call from Aiello. The technician arrived on-time, he was friendly, professional and courteous. He walked over to my thermostat, noticed the switching error and corrected it. Total time: 15 seconds. Basic cost of the visit (which I knew in advance) was $69 tax, which I paid without complaint. However, I did mention to the technician that it might be appropriate for the folks in the office who set appointments to ask a couple of basic questions before dispatching a technician because this visit was a waste of both his time and my money. He assured me that the people in the office were incapable of asking even a simple question such as: "Did you check the switch on the thermostat?" So overall this experience was disappointing although our prior experiences with Aiello were generally quite satisfactory. (See More)

Our central air system failed on a Saturday afternoon (temp. 85 degrees). The earlies a technician could be sent was Wed. afternoon, due to high volume of repair calls. I made appt. I also checked other services, but none could come earlier. On arrival the technician checked system and in a timely manner diagnosed the failure. I was given the estimate on a tablet and I okayed the repair. The replacement part had to be delivered from another storehouse. He doesn't know this, but I overheard the technician on his phone outside and I appreciated that he refused to leave for another repair call and return after part was delivered and other job was completed. He told the dispatcher he could not leave this customer hanging if the other job turned out to be big. After part arrived 30 minutes later, he replaced it and ensured system was running properly. I paid by check and got a receipt via my email. I liked that the technician was conscientious about my family and home with a week long heat wave starting the next day. I liked the use of technology via tablet and internet for the estimate, billing, and payment - all quick and efficient. The entire visit lasted less than 3 1/2 hours. I was happy the my AC system was running better than before when the temp outside hit 100 degrees the next day. I felt the estimate for the part was somewhat high; but considering what it took to acquire the part, the consideration I was afforded by the tech, the quality of the work, and the efficiency of the whole process I am very happy I called Aiello. I have since made an appt. for an entire system check and will be doing so every year going forward. (See More)

I couldn't be happier with the service we have received from Aiello over and over again. Whether it is an installation, maintenance or repair. The latest incident was no exception. We had company from out of state and late Saturday evening January 9th our furnace unexpectedly stopped working. As the temperature started to drop I called for service. It was a busy evening, but Clay, our Service Technician made a special effort and went out of his way to come as soon as possible. He was able to correct the problem within a few minutes and we were warm once again. I am very grateful for this level of service and dedication shown by Clay. Last year your team member spent nearly an hour going thoruhly through the system, replace the humidifier filter, cleaned the humidifier pump and houses. During this service the technician only spent 15-20 min, did not replace the hmidifier filter, didn't clean the pump and it does not to seem to be very thorough in checking the overall system. Overall, this is the 1st time that we were not satisfied at all from your service. This service was not up to your standards. Aiello does quality work, but their business practices are extremely suspect. Expect to be robbed and you will not be surprised. I just was charged $439 dollars for a ten minute repair and a $30 part. Assume they doubled the part price to $60 and charged me $100 dollars for ten minutes of labor you still are less than half of what they charged. I am looking for a new contractor. Aiello should be questioned by the BBB for unfair business practices (See More)

It was all great until the technician arrived and said he couldn't look at the air conditioner because it's on the roof. He did not offer any options....like get a ladder? It's a flat roof. I needed emergency service on my oil furnace and called several places for help; however one couldn’t come out until the next day and 2 never called back. Aeillo Home Services not only answered but explained their pricing and gave me a call back when the technician was on his way, which in my case was only an approximate one hour wait. The Technician, Clay, was very professional, assessed the job and told me exactly what it would cost to fix the problem. Clay C was courteous and professional. In all the years I had my furnace cleaned by other companies, no one ever mentioned the effeciency rate of the furnace. He was considerate to leave insulation from the attic around the house after working on the airconditioning.
