I have had this new AC unit for 21 days on day 2 they had to do some duct work to quite the noise down in the house I questioned the installer about the moisture on the unit he said it was normal. On day 7 my credit card was charge for the unit .BY HOME DEPOT not ARS not good. One day 14 called about to much moisture on unit . Doug and another service Tech came out and said I needed a bigger return in my house. ARS called and said someone would be out Wed 8/6/19 between 12-5 NO SHOW- NO CALL. I called Thursday 8-7.. talked to Herb Ward he would get to the bottom of it and call me back. No call back that bday I called 8-9 at 5:25 pm. Was told by Victoria that no one was there to help me. I called on Saturday 8-10 Told by Jada the same thing no one there to help me and she could not set up an appointment..I asked about the 24 HOUR SERVICE GUARANTEE She said sorry she could not help me.. I called on Tuesday to schedule routine maintenance service and was able to get an appointment for the next day with the wait window being from 11:00am - 2:00pm. I was pleasantly surprised when Doug C, my HVAC tech called a little after 12:00 to say he was on his way. Doug was very polite and personable. He went above and beyond what he needed to do for the maintenance inspection. For example, he brought in my newspaper that was in the driveway, changed my air filter, and replaced a dead light bulb in my attic. Doug performed the routine maintenance inspection as well as installed a UVC germicidal lamp for my air conditioning unit. He was very knowledgeable as he answered all of my questions. He was also very helpful when he informed me that I could get 0% financing for the germicidal lamp if I had a Home Depot credit card. And in turn, he was very patient as I applied online for a Home Depot credit card. I was extremely pleased with my service and decided to sign up for the Home Service Plan which will give me priority service and 2 maintenance inspections per year for only $14/month. We have been using ARS for the past year and have been very pleased with their timely service response and professionalism. Doug has been out several times to service our system and perform preventative maintenance. He has been very thorough in his approach and has made recommendations to resolve some issues and improve system efficiency. ARS Rescue Rooter will, upon request, assign the same individual to return to your home, which is nice since they are familiar with our system and know the history of prior service. They also take the time to wear shoe covers to avoid tracking yard debris into my home. I have been very pleased with Doug and he is a good reflection on ARS Rescur Rooter. (See More)

He was friendly, very professional and knowledgeable, thorough, and took the time to answer all my questions in a manner that I could understand. He gave me a historical overview of our system (a very old system) and verified warranty information I had long forgotten about. Although I wasn't happy with my 2year old unit not working I did get great service. The blower motor in my unit is going bad. Doug did the diagnostic work and found that the motor was bad. He didn't just pack up and leave afterwards but he did what he could to at least get the unit running. He told me that he was on call for the weekend and that if I had any problems to call him for help. He'll return next week to replace the blower (See More)

After several hot and humid days on a Saturday afternoon our A/C decided to take a vacation. We had used ARS before for plumbing problems so we gave them a call about the A/C. I was about ready to start calling motels when my wife called. Operator said someone would soon call. We were then told someone would call when they were on the way to checkout the A/C. Doug called and said he would be there shortly. Within 30 minutes of arrival Doug had found and fixed two problems and had the A/C running. Even though it was hot and humid Doug was very courteous and kept us informed of what was going on. As a former service tech myself I cannot say enough about his professional and caring manner. To boot, I discovered we had a hornet's nest in the outdoor electric receptacle box on the front porch only moments before Doug arrived. I called the office to ask them to call the tech so he could come around to the side of the house to not get stung by a hornet - they immediately called him and he when he arrived, he informed me he did get the message. When Doug came to the house to fix our furnace we found him to be very professional and sympathtic to our problem. After his evaluation he informed us on what the issue was and what would be needed to fix it. Once we gave him the go ahead he quickly fixed our furnace and tested it to ensure that his corrective action worked. Once he felt the problem was fixed he cleaned up the work area and let us know if we had any other problems to call and he would come back out. Regular maintenance service today from ARS was good. I was called to let me know the technician was on the way. The technician Doug was pleasant and efficient in his cleaning and checking--and even tolerant of our dog! He gave us a good tip about placing some wire screen over the 2 package units to keep lots of leaves from getting into the units. I would like to see ARS get back in the habit of calling to schedule the 6-months maintenance check-ups instead of my having to remember to call them. Several years ago ARS also tried to set up the summertime maintenance checks during May before the real summer heat and before technicians got real busy with repairs. (See More)
