Sorry, Bill C. I have no idea who you are but for some stupid reason, you have to pick a name to post a review. I am finally DONE with Peninsula!! I have had problems with them for 3 years now. I had a service contract with them but their service technicians have no idea what they're doing. Two years ago, my heater wouldn't start so I called a tech to come out and fix it. Three techs later, they told me that my chimney needed to be cleaned out and that's why the heater wouldn't work. I said " bullshit" and called a friend of mine that worked for McFoys heating and air. I told him what the heater was doing and OVER THE PHONE, he said "oh, your relay is bad"!!! He came over and replaced the relay and miraculously we had heat. I then went to cancel my service contract and was told that I had to cancel 30 days prior to my renewal, so they got me for another year of having to have techs that didn't know what they were doing. So this year, they let me run out of oil. I am on auto-delivery, budget billing and had a credit with them for over $1000. So Monday of last week when we ran out of oil, I called Tri Gas and Oil and they are now my new oil company. Oh and by the way, my husband tried to call them when we ran out of oil and was on hold for 20 minutes!!!

Mike and Brad came today to install a new oil tank. Worked quickly and did a great job new tank has a guage and looks great. Checked all the oil lines and made sure the furnace worked before they left.

Sorry Scott, had to pick someone. The trash and recycling service is terrible. The customer service department is worse; do you even answer the phone? Ever? THIRD week recycling is still sitting at the curb. Please come get it, then have someone call so I can cancel service.

And why do you require me to choose a service pro just to review your company? I haven't dealt with any of your people at all. Wow!!!!!! I hope my bad review on your company and it's lack of CUSTOMER SERVICE doesn't reflect negatively on poor Reggie F.

I have a contract with Peninsula in which my propane tank is never supposed to run empty. Two days ago, at the wake of a terrible snow storm, my propane ran out. I have called several times to have someone help but have been given the run around EVERY time. I am elderly and cannot afford to get sick. Catching a cold really affects my health so you can imagine what kind of shape I am in right now while having no heat. My daughter has multiple sclerosis and thinks she may be undergoing an attack due to the extreme drop in temperature inside the house. I am unable to get out of my driveway due to the snow built up so I am feeling helpless. No one I have spoken with at Peninsula has been the least bit compassionate. I can honestly say this is a bad feeling to know you have a contract with a company that does NOT keep their end of the bargain. I’m still waiting on a phone call! How much longer will I need to wait before things go really downhill? Will that be too late? I thought I could count on Peninsula in case of an emergency like this. Can someone help? I am praying for help at this point......I will be sure to change companies when this is over!!!!!

Chuck the master plumber worked diligently to find and correct our pump problem all day in near zero temperatures. No complaining or sarcasm. By days end we had water and heat !!!

I was in immediate need due to a plumbing problem. Peninsula responded with service at my house within an hour. Both servicemen were knowledgeable, efficient and very friendly ! Peninsula rates A PLUS for customer service ! Thank-you !

Waste & Recycling pick up for 2 years in the last year service has been very bad. Last week my recycling was finally p/u after 6:30PM. Something is drastically wrong and I canceled my service today. Also, very difficult to get someone on the phone there, waited for 1/2 hour until my call was answered. Person on the phone was very nice but that's about it.

Peninsula rates very high in service ! I had a plumbing leak and they were at my door in less than an hour ! Chuck Smith and Kevin were the plumbers . Excellent, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, 5 STAR ! I'm grateful for Peninsula and it's outstanding service !

Worst customer service, which is why we stopped trash and recycle pickup with the company. Our scheduled pickup day was normally Wednesday and on numerous occasions trash and recycle did not get picked up until one or two days later. Since we have cancelled our service we were advised it could take up to 10 days for cans to be picked up. They are still sitting on the property 3 weeks later and every time we call we get a different response as to when they will be picked up. Last week I was told by end of the week they would be gone and when I called Friday I was advised they do not know when they will be picked up. Maybe if we drop them off at the dump they can pick them up when they take their trash there, because personally I am tired of looking at the cans sitting on our property. If you are looking for good customer service, cheaper rates switch to Blue Hen. Cannot say enough great things about them.
