There is a wonderful tech at P. Gagnon. His name is Matt. He diagnosed a serious problem with our furnace, and saved our furnace and our health. This man is great, wonderful to work with, and he should be given a promotion and a raise.

The service itself was done quickly and done well, as their service usually is. The billing was not very clear, however. It took several phone calls to understand the invoice total, and even now I'm not sure about the terms of our service contract.

We have used oil service in our greenhouse and propane service in our home for over 30 yrs. One winter, the brick chimney to our greenhouse oil furnace blew over. Gagnon responded immediately with back up propane service while replacing the chimney with a new galvanized system. Their quick action saved the loss of thousands of dollars worth of plants not to speak of the well water holding tank. Later that winter, heavy snow took out the improperly installed galvanized chimney. Once again, they responded immediately, no arguing, no excuses and fixed it. Their technical service has been excellent. Most of our problems have been with improper charges or billing over a variety of issues. All I would describe as honest human errors. They have resolved all problems to our complete satisfaction and without arguing, making excuses and in a prompt fashion. They truly desire to achieve "customer satisfaction" and we would never trade those values and quality of service for a lower price. We would highly recommend P Gagnon & Sons.

We called up to report that our Japanese maple bush on our property had been destroyed from an oil delivery in Nov. 2016. One of the ladies who works at P. Gagnon's said that she would check on it for us. About an hour later, Mark Gagnon called us to find out exactly what the problem was and said that his company would not be able to replace the bush until warmer weather. We understood and agreed with that and then my husband mentioned that we were hearing some banging in the pipes and thought that they might need to bleed the air out of our hot water system. Mark said that he would get someone to come out and work on the system the next day. A few minutes later, a technician called to ask if he could come about 8:30 the next morning, which he did and had the problem solved in half an hour. We were very pleased with the efficient way both our problems were handled. P. Gagnon keep up the good work!

As a new customer (and new to the area) you overcharged me by a huge margin and when I noticed several months into service you didn't even apologize but offered to alter the price "somewhat" "soon". You CLEARLY do not want to keep customers.

I want to take the time to thank the P Gagnon team for their prompt servicing of my boiler when it bit the dust late one night this month, and I woke up to a "balmy" 50 degrees in my house. Their emergency customer service was excellent and they had a technician out to my home within an hour of my call which was placed before open hours. Shane was great in explaining the problem and providing pointers. I also had a very good experience with their service tech, Mat B, who serviced my parent's boiler and gave us great tips. I have been a customer since late 2014 and P Gagnon will always be my vendor of choice for my heat and oil needs. Thank you, all!! You guys rock!

Was having trouble getting sufficient heat from my oil fired hot water baseboard heating system. It was taking all day to raise the temperature from 60 to 68 degrees. A Gagnon technician came by and checked out the furnace/boiler which he determined was operating correctly. He stated that not enough heat was being transferred into the house from the heat registers and suggested that they were probably dusty. He took the time to remove all the covers and vacuum the registers. He then replaced the covers which, in our house, are not easy to remove or re-install. Our heating system then returned to normal operation and our house was warm again. Thank you to P Gagnon.

In the fall of 2015, I requested a serviceman to light my Jotul gas fireplace. The serviceman couldn't get it started. A second serviceman came out, cleaned the pilot apartaus and was able to light the fireplace. In the fall of 2016, I again requested a servcie to light the fireplace. Again the serviceman was unable to get it started. I was told that I needed a new part for the pilot and that he would order it and return to install it. After three weeks, I called to inquire about the status of the part. I was told the fireplace was out of date and the part was no longer available. I was able to easily locate the part and drove to Dover to pick it up. A second serviceman returned to my home to install it. He took the whole assembly apart, install the new part and was able to light the fireplace. I believe he was the serviceman whole was able to light the fireplace in 2015 and probably could have started it in 2016 without the new part. For all this service, including my having to obtain the part, I was charged $99. ???
